Darth Plagueis is my favorite Sith, alongside Darths Bane and Marr. He had a penchant for achieving all of his goals, pioneering entirely new Force powers, and gained mastery of the Midichlorians to bestow life and death at will. Crazy. Other Sith could take you out any number of ways but Plagueis could literally will you to die, like he did with King Veruna. Ironically, his only flaw was trusting one who he never should have due to creating a bond with him. He was a Sith through and through, Dark Side through and through. I greatly respect his commitment to his constantly growing his abilities and staying true to his philosophy. As he said, the power of the Dark Side is an illness no true Sith would wish to be cured of. Funnily enough, Plagueis could have fought back against Sidious but he deliberately courted death and it cost him his life. A lesson on the value of a grounded outlook and acting decisively when the moment arrives.

Even though the Jedi purge would still have happened, I genuinely believe that the galaxy as a whole would have prospered under Plagueis' rule. He was both a scholar and a businessman, and he was never as "drunk" on The Dark Side as Sidious was.
You know what would be an awesome conversation? Darth Vader and Darth Imperius (Light sided Sith Inquisitor from SWTOR) This conversation would be great as Darth Imperius devoted themselves to the Sith Empire and they could talk down to Vader by calling his passions self-centered, and that his passions should be centered around the Empire. They could show disdain for Vader's actions, especially needlessly killing Imperials as the Sith are the Empire and the Empire is the Sith, maybe even bring up that Sidious even told Vader to stop killing so many wishing not to rule a galaxy of the dead. They could also relate to Vader because they too were a slave who's chains were broken however they could point out that Vader is no true Sith since his chains are not broken but reinforced and that to be a Sith is to be free to choose their destiny.
Vader hated Sidious' empire, it wasn't Vader's vision, Vader preferred the stormtroopers and galactic police combined with a hearts and mind approach. That's why in Legends he was one of the founders of the Rebel Alliance, technically they were his separatist army against Sidious.

Plagueis is so brilliantly depicted here. The words he's saying with that voice. I'd love to see more of him in the future, maybe even talking to Yoda.

@NerdX151 science requires sacrifice, Venamis was a subject of Plagueis's love, he said it himself. He loved the knowledge Venamis and the other subjects brought him, he cared for them and observed them to know them better than their mothers.
This is what the sith were meant to be. Not simply evil users of the dark side. But people who could lead the galaxy without that terror sidious wanted.
Oh they always led in terror. But the difference between the past and now is that the Sith of the past were actually smart and knew how to truly utilize their power. As powerful as Sidious is, it sometimes feels like he doesn't know what he's doing half of the time. Just making things up as he goes and hopes for the best. And doesn't think about how his plans could potentially backfire.
@TimberlakeTigerGirl Well what happens when they finally achieve the end of Darth Bane's vision? When the jedi are completely wiped out and the sith rule alone. They didn't need the kind of empire Sidious had.
Plagueis should've done a better job of researching the history of the Sith because it was literally founded on ruling through terror. That was basically the way of life on Korriban even before Ajunta Pall and the other rogue Jedi landed there and carried out their coup against the existing monarchy. The Sith never saw a distinct difference between ruling through fear and order.
You can argue that Darth Vader is talking to his father here, as Anakin was conceived through force experiments 🧪 that Darth Plagueis done, I wish Plagueis revealed he was his father and Darth Vader said: Nooooo like when Padme died or when Luke Skywalker found out Darth Vader was his father lol 😂
Qui-gon speaks to maul on Malachor, Ahsoka speaks to Galen Marek, Anakins force ghost speaks to galen marek, Luke speaks to exar kuns ghost on yavin IV, Yoda's ghost speaks to the emperor before the battle of endor.
That's very in line with his character. He did some awful things, but his visions for the galaxy were nowhere near as extreme as Sidious', who was basically a spoiled brat who got power.
OK for future Vader interpretations please make him breathe while he’s talking that’s what makes him cool. While he’s talking, he breathes in and out.😊
I swear Darth Plagueis is like the biggest teacher and lesson to be learnt aswell, Vader knows what Plagueis says to be true, but yet is blinded by what Sidious has said and done to him
Once again, masterful dialogue. But I fear there is a plot error in it, a single line that disrupts the canon. This must take place between TESB & ROTJ, prior to ROTJ in any case. And here, Plagueis tells Vader the words ..."The loss of your children". Vader is not meant to know at this time that he has several children, he must only know of Luke at this time, or the epic scene in ROTJ that leads to Vader's & Luke's final duel no longer makes sense. Vader is meant to be surprised that he has a daughter, that Luke has a twin sister. He can't be that surprised of a second child, regardless if identity & even gender is still a secret, if anyone spoils him prior to him sensing it from Luke's mind. I hate being a bringer of criticism, especially since otherwise every single word here is masterful. But I also believe in that canon goes before all no matter what.
This does take place between ESB and ROTJ. Before then Vader was under the impression with Padmes Death so along went their baby (didn’t know it was twins ) and it all stemmed from Palpatine manipulation that led Anakin to kill Padme. But you’re right I should’ve said child not children. It’s definitely not criticism I’m happy you called it out. You are 100% accurate and I’ll admit when I made a mistake.
These videos are awesome man, i ssw you did Qui-Gon's ghost visiting Dooku right before ROTS, so thnak you. Could you do the scene fron the Legacy comics, where Darth Krayt meets the spirits of the Ancient Sith in the depths of Korriban, and is taunted and toyed with?
Plagueis' biggest mistake was having an apprentice. xD If he really thought he was the pinnacle of the Sith and that the rule of 2 expired, he never should trained Sidious. He should have just had Sith assassins or footmen, but not an actual Sith Lord alongside him. He should have known better than to train someone like Sidious, who hoards power like it's his lifeblood. Sidious killing Plagueis was actually good, as I can imagine that Yoda and the Jedi would have had harder time taking down Plagueis, who is definitely stronger than Sidious and Sidious only won through trickery.
The problem with your logic is that as Plagueis said, the Sith are supposed to ascend. That philosophy fundamentally requires the master to recruit and train an apprentice to hoard power so they can eventually surpass the master. According to the Ro2, The apprentice was supposed to crave power so they can prove they are worthy to inherit the mantle of Dark Lord. Sidious did what all aspiring Sith apprentices were supposed to do.
@@decepticonxhunter4850 Yes, but Plagueis basically thought the rule of 2 expired, hence there's not really a need for him to train an apprentice. He wasn't really obligated at this point, as the whole point of the rule of 2 was to remain in the shadows from the Jedi and grow stronger and eventually reveal themselves.

@@Skywalker_Stories Can I ask you a question.
I love how Plagueis walks into Vaders Castle, on Mustafar with no fear, and admits hes alive and Vader hasnt realized it yet
Have you considered using the runway performance capture to get more emoting from the characters?
great intermission between ep 5 & ep 6
Bro, trust me on the ideas I gave you earlier. Me, the fans, even yourself, will be very appreciative.
So glad you used Plagueis' voice instead of doing a cringe voice over
Your videos are out of this world! You are so talented! George Lucas would be so proud of you! Keep up the good work! 🤩 👏
Plagueis said children, he would have only known about one, Luke
This really shows how broken vader is.
Fantastic work as always. Tech questions: how do you do the musical score and how do you get Vader’s voice near perfect?
When will AI be able to show the full Son of Dathomir story, animated and voiced just like it would have been if not for Disney?
Mannn.. This is great...made me buy Book of the Sith last week....
These are so epically profound and good!
3:00 you accidentally did that part for plagueis and vader twice
Great one! Do one with obi wans ghost talking to Vader in between episode 5 & 6 talking about Luke and helping Vader see the light helping him realize he has to help luke and destroy sidious!
I have enjoyed these. I wish disney could/would make something like this instead of the garbage they have been releasing. I look forward to more of your videos
