I think you forgot that it was mace Windu who created Vapaad, so palpatine couldn’t learn a form that did not yet exist.
Well you could argue that windu taught it to dooku since he never left
Vapaad has been around since exar kun before the Era of the high republic.

@@Skelstoolbox According to wookiepedia, Dooku was around 18 years older. That puts Dooku at age 28, when Sheev was 10. And at that time, Dooku was training Rael Averros, before ever taking on Qui Gon Jinn as a padawan.

I have a few ideas for What Ifs:
What if Anakin/Vader returned to the light side after Palpatine told him that Padme had died?
What if Anakin had visions of himself burning on Mustafar instead of Padme dying?
What if Anakin killed both Count Dooku and Palpatine on the invisible hand?
What If Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan and Darth Maul all died during their duel?
What If Shmi was freed instead of Anakin?
What If Anakin and Padme never went to Geonosis?

I doubt that work unless we're talking about late into the clone wars. Even with basicly everyone except yoda from back them dead, the sith were remembered as evil, and the ones who caused many wars. Palpatine revealing himself publicly would either immediatly get him killed (pre- to early clone wars) or make the sepratists, and later rebellion much stronger due to more people joining.
@@fnafworks6228 by the time of the prequels being a Sith isn't illegal, and most average citizens don't even know the difference between Jedi and Sith. He would be fine.

Day 5: What if Jaesa Willsaam (light side) was in the Clone Wars?
The idea is that shortly after Jaesa is recruited by the Sith Warrior, Darth Baras realizes the potential threat. He manages to capture her and freeze her in carbonite. After Darth Baras dies, Jaesa is never found and is eventually forgotten for the next 3000 years. Then, during the Battle of Christophsis, a tunnel to an ancient under city is discovered. Obi-Wan leads a squad of clones into the under city in order to gain a tactical advantage over the separatists. While here, the force leads him to a long forgotten prison. He finds Jaesa here and frees her. Shortly thereafter Jaesa rejoins the Jedi and becomes Obi-Wan's apprentice.
Another great story idea, it was refreshing seeing dooku training Palpatine and hego damask having the Anakin/ Palpatine relationship in the real story, the added bonus of Alan Rickman playing Palpatines father was perfect!
Day 5: What if Anakin knew Palpatine was a sith in Attack of the Clones?

What if Maul, Savage, And Feral due to being part of Talzins actual bloodline were made the exceptions in that matriarical society to be the next up and comer bosses of Dathomir Maul especially being noted to have a high threshold in the force and magic then Tal herself yeah?

Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.

Question...
How would Dooku know how to teach Vapaad? It's very strictly Mace Windu's form, and the few times he tried to teach it to an apprentice they fell to the Dark Side rather quickly. Why/how would/could Dooku convince Mace to teach to to a padawan that would be at a MUCH HIGHER risk of succumbing to it and falling?
Not only that, but why would Dooku think that would be a good idea anyway? Vapaad requires one to have an iron will, being a conduit that channels the chaos and anger around them and redirecting it rather than using it to power themselves. If he were to try and learn Vapaad, it'd likely make him even more tempted to give into his darker emotions.
I feel like Soresu or Makashi would've been a better option, as both demand patience and calm, something Palpatine would very clearly need at that stage.
Another genus what if and story! I loved Plapys saber colors though a line explaining why he had gold normally the Jedi temple gaurd color... Which I do believe fits perfectly as he loves demcrocy.

@howtogoogle8031 what if he revealed to the Jedi that the clones were created to destroy them and proposed that the Jedi should kill the clones instead. Could he corrupt the whole order with such an act of betrayal? Getting the Jedi to launch a preemptive act of total genocide on their own troops would be such a gut punch.

I think Plagueis could've ended up with Talzin as his apprentice which would somehow still lead to Palpatine finding Maul (and training Maul in the light), or Dooku still turns Sith and Jedi Palpatine has to deal with that.

Palpatine training anakin skywalker and finding out that skywalker is potentially the chosen one. The crime syndicates Uniting together to threaten the outer rim. Potential for ex jedi to fall to the darkside. Rouge Dathomerian nightsisters, mandalorian terrorism and slavery in the outer rim. So many possibilities to continue the story with. I enjoy your videos and think you could do it professionally for a living. Kind regards from Daniel Harman.
It’s kinda weird to think about Dooku actually being older than Palpatine, decades older even at that rather than Palpatine being older than Dooku even though Dooku was Palpatine’s apprentice in canon. Are there any other cases either in legends or in canon of apprentices being older than their masters? Loved this fanfic idea by the way, especially Palpatine and Dooku’s reversed roles.
Funny that in the OG timeline Palpy was the master and Dooku the apprentice. Dooku is 18 years older than Sheev.

Eh. It would be easy to think of Dooku or Vader as psychopathic if we didn't have reams of backstory telling us how they fell to the dark side. There's no inherent reason Palpatine couldn't have turned out better if he'd had a better upbringing.
@@seancdaug Being a psychopath is a genetic condition. It is not something that a different upbringing changes. Even his dad thought he was messed up when he was young. There is no reason to believe he was treated badly as a child as his siblings were not the same way (as far as we can tell). This is just who Sheev was.

The Governor would've made an excellent Sith Lord; not only was he intelligent and highly persuasive, but personally very attractive as well.
The Story is kinda cool but the end is a bit uncool because Plagueis just does the James Bond Villain thing and explains Every Little detail of his pkan
Plagueis would not be so stupid to trust Palpatine so much. I dislike the route you took here. Plagueis is way smarter than this, he would give Palps a chance to join him, but he would never reveal his full plans so simply.

Although I felt a couple of meh spots, I know I don’t have the talent to imagine/write ‘what if’ Star Wars stories. I enjoyed it over all and understand why you needed the ‘meh’ spots to finish the story.
