Mr. Brown was 69 years old here and Mr. Pavarotti was 67. This was from 2002. That even makes it more amazing that this was so good! James Brown is my all-time favorite entertainer since I was 12 years old in 1968. I saw him about 100 times in concert. I have all of his records. I met him a few times and all that good stuff please react to some more James Brown things!
This is the music of my childhood. Mom adored Luciano Pavorati and dad loved James Brown. They both loved other artists in different genre's but none that were they really shared. I was exposed to a very diverse musical world. It was awkward as a kid. I appreciate it tremendously as an adult. But this is the LAST mashup I expected and I LOVE it.
What a combination. Two masters of their art and a truly great song. The love and respect these two artists genuinely showed. RIP James and Luciano. We will not hear their like again. ❤❤
So many UA-camrs skip the end of videos, you just watch them trough like you said you would. Thanks for that and for the great video man! Amazing song. I imagine people living in peace together, I think about this masterpiece and these two amazing singers, oh how I wish I could have viewed them live
This is one of many benefit concerts that Pavarotti did with the biggest singing stars, something he always wanted to do. Another song you must hear is "Mesererie" with Zucchero. I never heard of Zucchero before, but I fell in love instantly! Like "Nessun Dorma", it will give you goosebumps.
Pure Royalty in both disciplines.
Both legendary musicians who respected each other's work Beautiful ❤️
That orchestra is a dream, as well as the background singers!
Pavarotti is always a ride.
An absolutely amazing combo of different singing styles that blended together perfectly! Just beautiful!
Two Legends.Beautiful.

It shouldn’t work, right? It works so beautifully. I love James Brown’s smile watching Pavarotti sing his song.

He even did the thrill is gone with BB King another legend once again Beautiful please check it out Thank you ☮️
I think maybe Luciano wasn’t trying to upstage James Brown is the reason he kept it the way he sang it.
I have the original and this version on my playlist.

If you want the best of him singing in English, react to his duet with Celine Dion "I Hate You, Then I Love You". Has over 25 million views.
