All performances in this series that I have heard are absolutely outstanding, recorded in excellent sound. What a treasure! And seeing the players perform makes the listening even more exciting.
MY FAVOURITE BEETHOVEN'S CHAMBER MUSIC PIECES: - Three String Quartets in F Major, E Minor and C Major Op. 59 (Rasumovsky) - String Quartet in E-flat Major Op. 74 (Harp) - Two Piano Trios in D Major and E-flat Major Op. 70 (the first is called "Ghost") - Piano Trio in B-flat Major Op. 97 (Archduke) - Violin Sonata no.9 in A Major Op. 47 (Kreutzer) - Cello Sonata no.3 in A Major Op. 69.
That was an unexpectedly pleasant half-hour. I had never heard of the quartet before. That slow movement was spell-binding. Too bad the sound dropped out in the last movement. That technical snafu marred an otherwise stellar performance.
Andrew Thompson you like that wouldn’t you. I mean the only thing missing from you is dedication right? These are a bunch of nuts, aren’t they. Practicing day and night.. 🙄
The three Razumovsky op. 59 are the SQ crown jewelry. Yet I am very fond of Serioso, Harp and "Es muss sein". CONGRATULATIONS to these excellent ladies. Thank you 😘 😘 😘 😘
Certainly a great performance of a wonderful piece. However, who in heck directed the camera shots. Someone who had no knowledge of the piece or had artistic instincts. Really quite bad.
I would like to see the names of these four ladies.thx for the post. As to the video editing. , it is rare to have a camera person with knowledge of musical form. Ditto video editors. Editing should be audio directed , as in film montage.

Well-articulated and perfectly synchronized performance of this perfectly constructed string quartet.

Thoroughly enjoyed a very good solid performance of a not so easy quartet! Well done ! Bravo!!
Maravilloso! Música de las esferas! La reaccion de un alma despierta ante el misterio de lo infinito en una noche estrellada. Gracias!
TRhis is a vary energetic vision of that quatrtet, which may be interpretetd in many ways. Their vision is completely convincing.

John Lee Hooker knew how good E minor was for playing the blues. I can his grumblin in the background all the way through this. Poifick!
Very nice and well-played.
Va desde los arrabales a la nobleza mas pura este genio
Puedo entender cualquier cosa la enormidad de la. Belleza que el senor beth puede hacer
Beautiful. Astounding. So much emotion packed in this piece. Feel the power. Wonderful playing. You make Ludwig van proud!
These ladies are heading for the Big Time. Solid, gutsy first movement.
Yes, if they practice

Lots of closeups on the beautiful instruments. What's so bad about that?

Someone just keeps coughing..

I'd like to Ludwig von beethoven all over that quartet, amirite?
Yes its great and all but I only have one question: Why do this women have their clothes on?
656520 what
Appart of their exellent performance, I expect nothing but but big fat pussy cats!
Because they're here to show off their artistic vision and talent, not their bodies. You'd do well to keep such comments to yourself.
Yes indeed. 656520 would do well to keep such comments to himself (or herself). LMFAO
NUMBSKULL....because then even Beethoven cannot hold my attention!
Terrible performation. Amateur players.

Performation, such professional vocabulary.
