I'm a Phonetics and Conversation Professor in a college. This is the best introductions videos on UA-cam I've yet to see. its easy, simple and practical. Thank you!
Wow, I'd never think this topic might be so hard... It's gonna take me a couple of days to understand and to learn all these rules well. But the lesson is great! Thank you so much, Mr. Bob!!!!
Hey Bob ! How are you doing? I would like to say that your each & every content is very much helpful & detailed informative. Have a great day ! I am feeling very much fortunate to be connected with you. Thank you very much !
Thnx a lot, teacher Bob! I've known all of them so far, at least I've heard them, but to use them properly according to a situation )) that's really tough!
As a brazilian who speaks portuguese, it's very hard to know when to use the prepositions "to" and "for". Could you record a video about that subject? Thank you in advance! BTW, congratulations for your channel. It really helps me a lot!
Thank you so much 😊yeah May be as learners we are always eager to learn complex vocabulary but when we start to introduce a conversation we struggle!sometimes we should review some basics as greetings or how to introduce ourselves!now I can easily hold a conversation but last month someone his wife caught covid and I didn't know how to apologize or how to chose my words to say I'm sorry to what happen?sometimes we struggle with just routine conversation
Hi Bob, my name is Yiling Zhang. I live in CA. I am glad I found your video two weeks ago. And I love it so much. I’ll watch it every night before I go to bed. That’s really enjoyable and warm in this quarantine time. You are awesome teacher . Thank you very much.
Hey, teacher Bob! How are things? Thanks for such a positive and comprehensive collection of English greetings and for the instruction how to use them properly. I loved it!
Hello, Dear Teacher Bob! Believe me, I've subscribed to a lot of English channels, but when I get or see a notification from you, with a big interest I start watching. This one was so interesting funny, thanks for your patience, smile, positive energy you pass us. With your lessons my love to English language is increasing day by day. Thanks so much. God bless you and your lovely family. Big respect from Azerbaijan,Baku 🇦🇿
Another fantastic video. I am going to share the 8:23 mark with some of my colleagues. When we ask, “How are you doing?” we often don’t want to hear it all in great detail. I’m kidding, of course. Mostly. 😉😉
I think that is what makes it such a hard thing to learn. There is an aspect to the greeting that requires you to understand the situation and the person you are talking to. If I walk by my boss in the morning and he says, "How are you?", he isn't expecting a long answer. If I have a one on one meeting with him and he starts by asking, "How are you?" I know he is looking for a more detailed response.

Teacher Bob, Brent probably means all who just keep carrying on....? ;-) :)))) So this is the bad kinda meaning of the verb "carry on" you just mentioned a couple lessons ago, I guess :))
Hello bob Loads love from india❤... I luv watching ur videos... Nd the best part ur video is u actually shoot ur videos different locations which makes more ur video more interesting..
Hi I'm Vietnamese, I've just heard your videos and watched them recently, your videos are very meaningful and very detailed, I really like it and will watch it often, I love learning language. English, but for me, learning English is not easy. You can share with me about long-term vocabulary and don't forget it, thank you.
Thanks for the kind words and the recognition of the work that goes into these videos. I try my best to make the clear and understandable. Thanks for appreciating them! 😎👍🙋
I wish I was new! Your video is so refreshing, it would be good to imagine what it would be like just joining your online community. I hope you're continuing your lessons as long as you can.
Hi Bob, again thank you because every time I watch your video, there's an added knowledge which I could really use to improve my English in every day conversation. I become more confident in my capability of speaking English to anyone and to any native speaker of English..
I like the answer; "I've had better days". This way you don't have to lie to anyone. Though you may be triggering the other person to ask you more in-depth personal questions. Can we also say "Hanging in there"? (when you don't want to speak much about your actual life.) Thanks Bob!
Thanks Bob, because I'm a teacher here en El Salvador and sometime, we need to know more about the phrases used in the countries than speaking English.
Excellent lesson teacher Bob, same as the rest of language skills, it takes practice to master, practice makes perfect!! I think I have an acceptable level of English, started teaching my niece recently, stopped by to grab some teaching techniques, appreciate it greatly
