- None of Noctis’s changes are particularly drastic, however his offensive game is scarier and he’s safer to boot, making him a more viable threat all-around. His primary strength was, and still is, his ease of use.

Noctis' db2 does give him guaranteed hits btw.
You get a db3 at point blank range or at the wall.
ff4 if it connects from not too far away.
Then from the range where ff4 will no longer reach you have a mind game.
If they get up to block ASAP via a wakeup backward, which is the fastest way to get up and block after a db2 on hit, he gets a f1+2.
If they do anything besides wakeup backward ORAA is guaranteed.

Had always thought that Noctis is long-ranged king warrior, with his armiger, warp-strikes, and magic. Those who handled close-ranged moves for him are his "Shield" and "Hand", Gladio and Ignis. As a King, it is their duty to have him protected. So yea... He's getting better with close-ranged now, he's growing.

He can still be played in an effective way without abusing the high damage low mid mix up of db2 and db1+2

This is explained in context of all the other changes db+2 got. Basically you can't combo from a close range CH db+2 anymore.
Make easy characters easier why dont you Tekken. I swear this character is quiet possibly the trashiest character to exist in tekken, and im counting in the damn kangaroo and dinosaur.
