Pansotti alla genovese, ciceri e tria. Molto bene 👌 Claudio had a ton of changes and we took more of a broadbrush approach here. A few more noteworthy ones: 4, 3 is also a NC, meaning Claudio now has a strong i12 punisher that allows you to keep up the pressure (unlike f+2,2) but no STB. STB d+1,2 now has even more + frames (+3 to +8) and can wallsplat. STB b+4,3,2 has gone from "totally useless" to "pretty good" being -1 on block and his optimal damage wall ender. Devil Jin next!
Surprised STB b+4,3,2 didn't get a mention. In season 2 it is now safe at -1 on block (used to be -10), force crouches on block and does more damage. Its is now a better wall combo ender compared to df+3,2,d+1+2 by 4-5 dmg in many cases.
Buff is great but I love doing df+3,2, U+4 for the mix-up potentials with either good mids or ss4. I like keeping starburst when at wall for either d+2,2 or plus frames on d+1,2 (I think that was the notation. I forget)
@@dslmista4353 Yeah I generally hold on to the STB for the powerful pressure / mixups at the wall, but if you're looking to end the round b+4,3,2 is the way to go.
While I dislike the F+3 being changed to high overall the screw helps out a lot. Just sad I can't mixup the running 2 with F+3 anymore since it's duckable.
I think this hurts Claudio the most out of all the nerfs. Mixing WR2 with f+3 was a big part of his gameplan. B+1 doesn't have the range or speed of f+3 , and ff+4 is linear while leaving you in the opponent's face at a major disadvantage on block.
@@ThatBlastedSalami agreed. I wish they made it safer or at the very least track better because the very few times I do use it a good portion of those times it's easily stepped unless you're at a mid to close range which even then there's definitely better options.
@@ThatBlastedSalami I'm pretty sure b1 has the same start up of f3 at i18. Also the range isn't that much different but yeah f3 does have slightly more range.
@@ThatBlastedSalami B1 AND F3 WAS SAME STARTUP! And B1 had always more range than B1, the difference was the frame advantage of the tailspin of F3 and the lowcrushing, but B1 evades High so that's enough. I mix up WR2 with DB3
@@tippingguy8514 Cheers for the correction guys 👌 b+1 is very inconsistent in evading highs, but Namco probably thought it was redundant for Claudio to have 2 safe mid tracking moves. I wouldn't recommend mixing up a high with a low though.
Plus frames aren't the same as opening someone up. He had plus frames before. He doesn't have any scary unseeable lows. Even with starburst his D 2,2 is can be reacted to.
Word. With his plus frames all you have to do is chill out and look out for a delayed timing mix up possibly to avoid giving him big damage. The lows are really what open people up. Not even throws can do that if you are playing on the high level. Unless they have deceiving animations/breaks.
Yeah we should have gone over them. Bit of an oversight there. In summary d+1,2 now has even more + frames (+3 to +8) and can wallsplat. STB b+4,3,2 has gone from "totally useless" to "pretty good" being -1 on block and his optimal wall ender.
Claudio feels more honest now in my opinion. He used to he one of those characters everyone hates coz you can cheese at low ranks due to a few great moves but now he's more fun to use. I really love b 3, 1 it extends the distance of his combos a bit for easier wall carry. :D i learned to play my mains better due to this channel i'm really grateful for the content you guys put up, keep up the good work! :D

I actually somewhat agree with you here. Especially with the way I played Claudio (lots of lame keepout with hopkick and WR2 / f+3 mixups) I find him less effective now. Everyone else on the team thinks he's slightly stronger though, and they're all hardened tourny vets so who am I to argue.
Sorry but F3 being nerfed makes claudio a C+ at best. His string are non-existent and with a tekken being about low sweep combo & counter hits Claudio lacks in every department. I don't see how anyone thinks he's gotten better by slowing him frames down hence why no one plays with him anymore.
His counter hit game is actually pretty good now though. He's also better at breaking down turtles. Tekken isn't about low sweep combos, at least not offline. It's about utilising movement to score big damage through whiff punishes or counterhits.
@@ThatBlastedSalami That Blasted Salami his counter hit game is hella inconsistent good luck not getting jabbed out of up+3 is not worth the float damage. Downback+3 is slow and seeable low that has to be perfect to counter hit into a combo. Down forward 2 is still the best. Majority of your video was about how much Claudio got nerfed. Wall bounce non factor Claudio needed better mixup strings. Tekken at this stage is about low sweeps combo's.
@@ThatBlastedSalami While he has more CH tools. His overall CH game is worse mostly because the corner stone of his CH game and his absolute best, fastest and safest CH tool 43 got nerfed.
