I loved this game growing up! They did a great job exploring Jango Fett's character. The dialogue had some good one-liners too - "Dead or alive Meeko."
To be fair, Lucasarts was toying with more mature content in the early 2000s. From darker stuff in AOTC and ROTS, to KOTOR 1 and 2 showing darker storylines that featured things like mass genocide and sexual overtones, to Battlefront 2 and the EP3 game literally putting you on the side of the mass-murdering Empire as they executed Order 66, there was a lot of dark content to go around. I especially remember Empire At War where you play as Darth Vader as he goes on a slave raid against the Geonosians, and when Tarkin orders him to inflict heavy casualties, Vader protests, saying that this will diminish their potential labor force. Tarkin brushes aside Vader's complaints, saying that the remaining Geonosians would work harder as a result. You know you've hit a dark spot when a Dark Lord of the Sith starts calling someone's military tactics excessive.
Great point and I mean there's a reason Tarkin was the one Imperial officer with the stones to order Vader around lol. I do plan to cover Kotor and the Battlefront 2 campaign. Kotor videos are going to be beastly though so give me some time lol
@@scoutroop345 Man I tell you the way to go is to get back on Battlefront II 2005 on PC and get into their modding community. Anything Star Wars you can imagine is most likely there and ready to go!

One of my favourite parts is the wholesome banter-filled relationship between Jango and Roz. Always got laugh out of me. if any game needs a remake it's this one. Perhaps introduce some elements from the batman arkham games like having the ID scanner function like detective mode so its easier to access in combat to nab those bounties.
Thanks for the comment Prodigal Knight and I couldn't agree with you more about Roz and a remake! It's a challenging game no doubt! And yes Open Seasons adds so much to Jango's character and really takes this game to the next level!
Also I’d like to have a proper stealth mechanics and varying alertness level. You can approach the areas in silence and take out foes with poison darts. When you get spotted, enemies will swarm you endlessly. Fleeing to shadows doesn’t work anymore and you have to go guns blazing until everyone is slaughtered. Some silent takeout mechanic would be nice too. This added stealth and upgraded scanner system would make this so much more replayable. Gunfight is fun as it is.
