Your right, finally someone who is saying the things I have been thinking since I was 12, simplicity gives rise to complexity and the real “reality” is and must be created by beings of pure energy built from a manifestation in a more “simpler” dimension. With less constants. It would be logical to create a reality with more options and less constraints to flourish in utilising higher dimensions.

If we analyse History then its easy to realise that there isn't a SINGLE civilization in Human History which hasn't been destroyed / punished for their disobedience and sins.
Be it - Babylonian, Mesopotamian, Indus Valley civilization, Persian, Roman, Assyrian, etc. etc. However, there could be people who think that this Technologically Advanced Modern Civilization is an exception. We all should wait and see!

We did not create the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them without a truthful purpose. The Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammed) their faults with gracious forgiveness. Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing.'

And how many generation We destroyed before them, who were far mightier than them. Then when the torment came, they desperately sought refuge in the land. But was there any escape?'

He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again.

I’ve always realized that science and religion are more in tune with eachother than most people think. The more we learn about science the more impossible it seems that everything happened by random. I know that recently the big bang has been “disproved” but I like to think that the big bang as we knew it kind of resembled someone plugging a program into an empty hard drive.
Big bang wasnt disproved. We have proof of it, and can see its footprint as the Cosmic Background Radiation, which is whats left of the heat of the "explosion" (not really an explosion, more like an implosion)
Cause they're scared to die, and their intellectual hubris prevents them from realizing humanity has much to learn in a universe 13 billion years old.

Theology represents a potential explanation beyond what is known and possibly beyond what can be known.
It gives good points on the "what could be" and the "if's", but i personally prefer more grounded beliefs and in a reality which is also grounded on solid proof.

This is more of a question, and less of a comment: If everything stems from nothing, as high does not exist without low, then does the probability for something not to exist requisite its probability to exist; if something must not exist (somewhere), must it also exist (somewhen)? etc.
Infinity is a long time this universe is but a small part of the bigger space out of our time. Its an awfully long time for something not to exist I personally believe it is a miracle for life to exist but also believe it is inevitable' lol.
The grand paradox. For all possibilities to exist, nothing must also exist. If nothing has the ability to exist, then so must other possibilities. I laugh so much when people say we can't come from nothing. We can't exist without it.

Air is still molecules, and go into space and even empty space isn't completely empty, there are still molecules, dark matter (theoretically), microscopic space dust, etc, floating around. Yes, vacuums exist, but firstly can even the most powerful vacuum device eliminate every single molecule from a space, and secondly, even if so would the vacuum itself not be something?

I love the fact that he keeps stressing that its not a god like us right.. well that’s exactly our religion, we do not know what god looks like. but it sent a entity made him his son so he would be probably more believable then saying he’s just a messenger and in a our body form so we could use that as an example of how we should live.
So maybe the universe is a back and forth pill, which implies a barrier of great power. But also, what in nature has nearly infinite nuclei? A complex being?

What is common between the two is LAWS.
Theology is independent of science. It's just a study of pre-existing religion. Physicists don't "become" religious. They can think and understand on such profoundly deep levels that they may or may not embrace complete skepticism, which by definition means the simultaneous truth that anything can be possible. I'd like to have heard a woman's perspective in this. Hypatia and Theanu (Pythagorus wife, who helped start a mathematician school, and may have helped formulate his theory, was well aware and connected to a cosmic religion) Most female geniuses could give you a fantastic explanation on a cosmic interconnectedness. Ask one sometime.
Personally i have tried to embrace complete skepticism but it just isn't worth the effort from the psychological perspective.
I don't believe just counting Nobel winners is enough evidence to say a lot of physicists are religious in their old age. And I would classify a lot of them as spiritual and not necessarily religious.
It's an interesting topic but I don't think your question is a fact.

To point out how unlikely we are is to point out what we're unaware of and nothing more.
As we're part of life, are we not also part of its nature?
And is that nature not physical and mental?
Is the physical nature not also the same as that of the mental?
In the dream of life, we reside at the core of our subconscious Mind - that simple nature of which creates complexity with which to see itself and through which it creates the u-in-verse... "God" created Itself.
The universe didn't come from "somewhere else".
It came from its own nature - that of the subconscious - the totality of all experience - the ether.
All is created in, through (us, the u-in-verse) and of itself.
From our limited point of view, a singularity is extremely small.
But from an expanded point of view, the universe could be a singularity itself.
The philosophical point of view stands in the middle and borrows from the scientific and religious, which sit at opposite poles.
Logic and reasonable assumption are its best tools.
As physics and religion use only mathematics and simple faith, it's not surprising that they both feel a sense of futility in their old age whereas the philosopher always has more to work with.
Food for thought is greater than gold.
For me, the nature of our being is the only worthy pursuit, but if the object of our being is to let go of ourselves, as all spiritual (mental) practice tells us, then we know we can't fail.

Gods are just level 6 and level 7 civilizations
Somewhere along the line something must be infinite, whether that be the universe itself, or who/whatever created it, or created whatever it came from. It is theorized currently that the universe does in fact have a beginning and an end. Which means one of two things, it was created by an eternal intelligent designer, or, it came out of a multiverse that is either infinite or created by an eternal intelligent designer. Hard concepts to grasp, but what is more reasonable to grasp is that you can't get spontaneous matter out of nothingness, some may argue as such but to me it is more illogical than believing in intelligent design. Hence why I agree that a combination of science, logic, and reason can lead to such a belief. Not necessarily saying any particular religion is right or wrong and that their scripture is right or wrong, but in the concept of a higher power in general. It may be a deity, it may be a super advanced type 3+ civilization.
So where did this type3 civilization come from and how did it survive long enough to become one. It's my belief that most civilizations if not all burn out way before achieving type 1 status. Look at ours as an example. It's more likely we are just one outcome of an infinite number of cosmic accidents.
Personally i think reality/existance can never be explained in a way that proves one theory to be true and all others false. Like human forms of logic are flawed because they are the only group of logical thought processes that we can use, so that could or might not mean that reality itself is or isn't logical, if anything it's illogical and logical at the same time and it could just be that no level of intelligence or logic could explain why reality exists.
That means that we are in a simulation!

There is likely an infinite number of universes. Why would ours be the only one? If there are trillions of universes with infinite amounts of stars and planets in each then we become pretty boring and just one of an infinite number of cosmic mistakes that probably happened a trillion times.
