Hi All! Today I'll be showing you how to install the Nextbase 422GW in the Cooper S with the wiring that comes with the box. I will get a more permanent wiring solution down the line.

I've got a 622gw with rear camera in my F54. I wired it with the hardwire kit to the fusebox. Wire goes up the A pillar, so doesn't clash with airbags. I use the screensaver option which I finds takes away any disturbance from the screen being live.

Mine is wired to the AC fuse in the fuse box behind the glove box very easy to do with the right kit and a few UA-cam videos on how to do it

Hi Ben, I have the 522 gw it’s good I have mounted mine on drivers side as it has a screen saver which displays your gps speed which is really helpful, Alexa works fine also, on top res it fills 128gb card up well fast

Curious, if you switch off the engine will the Nextbase still turn off or totally off? Will it start back on when u car is switch on?

I have the Nextbase 422 GW. I lke how the power goes into the screen mount so when you get to your destination you can just pull the camera away from the screen mount ( leaving you screen mount attached to the windscreen ). I then bought the Nextbase rear camera which i'm disappointed with as it looks like the rear camera connects ony into the camera and not into the screen mount. So when i get to my destination i need to unplug the rear camera from the camera before i pull the camera away from the screen mount. Seems a strange design. Surley the rear camera could connect to the front screen mount, that way i would just need to pull my camera away from the screen mount when at my destination.
