This Mexican destination, located on the Pacific coast in the state of Colima, is a vibrant port city known for its beautiful beaches, world-class fishing, and lively local culture. As a bustling commercial hub and a popular tourist destination, Manzanillo offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. From exploring its historic downtown to enjoying water sports in its pristine bays, Manzanillo caters to a wide range of interests and makes for an unforgettable coastal getaway.
Manzanillo has a rich history dating back to pre-Columbian times when it was inhabited by indigenous groups. It gained prominence during the Spanish colonial period as a vital port for shipping goods between Asia and the Americas. The city is named after the manzanillo tree, a type of flowering plant that is native to the region. Today, Manzanillo is one of Mexico's most important commercial ports and a beloved tourist destination, known for its scenic beauty and friendly atmosphere.

I heard, from an unreliable source, that the air quality there was not great. True? It looked fine and you didn’t mention it. Nice video!

Hey Robert! While I was there, I didn't feel that the air quality was particularly bad compared to other Mexican cites, but Manzanillo does have a more industrial feel. Perhaps during the dry months there might be more dust and particles in the air.
Thanks for watching! 🙏 I appreciate you viewing and commenting! Abrazo!
