      Hi, this weekend I have a video coming out of cooking a large piece of roast pork in it. Came out fantastic with beautiful cracking. I always cook a whole chicken in it too. I made slow cooker roast beef recently and that was great too. Yet to try dehydrating a beef joint!

    Are you still happy with your 15:1?I had problems with the inner bowl of my 11-1 and had to send it back. Ninja were decent about it once I got through. I miss not having a pressure cooker and sauté and the steam airfry was great for a chicken. Although it was annoying that once you lifted the lid the clock didn’t pause. So you had to start again. Also I’d like a stainless steel bowl. But I’m interested if you still love it. Lots of people love the cosori pressure cooker and sauté and steam functions. Have you tried that machine?

      Hi, I've not tried the Cosori. Yes I still love my 15 in 1 - not had any problems with it. I use the majority of the functions and particularly like the pressure cook function

    Hi Susannah, I have a14-in-1 and have trouble trying to get instructions on it, is it similar to your 15-in-1, I'm doing baked potatoes this evening and following your instruction for the 15-in-1m except mine doesn't have quick release. Many thanks, Eithne

      Hi, is yours just an automatic release without options? If it's fast then it will work the same as my quick release. If your valve works in the same way you can always manually flick it over to vent to release the pressure at your desired time. There are many ways of making jacket potatoes in the foodi so don't stress if it's not exactly the same, I'm sure it will still work well

    My instant pot is USELESS as a slow cooker. I like shoving curries in on show cook, but it starts bleeping about "food burn" in under 30 minutes. Is this able to finish the job?

      I use the slow cook function regularly and have no problems

    How is it at cooking big joints of meat?

    I bought the 14 in one, before the 15 came out, is the only difference the 15 has the probe? I really need some recipes to give me confidence to use this lovely machine as I’m a bit unsure about the ratios, and the booklet doesn’t give many tips. Maybe cause I’m 72, and find the technology a bit hard to learn. Thanks for your video.

      That's right, I believe it's just the probe. I have so many recipes on this channel and if you want printable recipes I have those on my website - www.susannahskitchen.uk
      I have also just released a cook book so that be of interest to you. This can also be purchased through my website. I hope the recipes help you to gain some confidence. Once you get the hang of pressure cooking and using the steam it becomes really enjoyable. Susannah

    Can you specify the pressure for pressure cooking?

    • @susannahskitchen
      @susannahskitchen  7 місяців тому

      I generally use high pressure unless I state it's low - I've only used this a few ties for eggs and rhubarb. I presume this is what you mean

    • @turkeyphant
      @turkeyphant 7 місяців тому +1

      No I mean how many pressure settings are there for the pressure cooker and exactly what pressure and temperature can you choose?

    • @susannahskitchen
      @susannahskitchen  7 місяців тому

      @@turkeyphant it’s either high or low pressure that it’s it. All of my main dishes I always use high pressure. The only other options are how the pressure releases from the machine. Not all models have this but the 15-in-1 has Natural release (this takes the longest and good for meats you don’t want to dry out). Delayed release (you can change the time on this but the default is 10 minutes, I use this when you want something under pressure for a short time but you want it to continue cooking for further minutes like rice). Lastly there is a quick release which gets rid of the pressure/steam the fastest and I use for food I don’t want to be overcooked/or need a shorter more exact timing like pasta for example.
      I hope that helps

    So the air fry basket constanty makes friction against the bigger inner pot everytime its taken in and out it seems. I assume this would inevitably start to cause scratch marks on the non stick coating of the inner pot which is highly toxic and detrimental to long term health.

      Hi, My Pot still looks good after 2yrs and I use the basket and the rack. There is little point having it if you don't use the parts that go inside in my opinion

    • @susannahskitchen
      @susannahskitchen  11 місяців тому

      Hi, It's 57cm high.... won;'t fully open under a standard set of kitchen cupboards ....you can pull it forward though when in use.

      Sorry to hear you are having problems with yours. Is there not a warranty that covers repairs? I agree that you don't want to be replacing such an expensive gadget. I hope you can get yours sorted
