Thank you so much!! This is exactly what I’ve been searching for the last few months of my art journey. I’ve been trying to get better at shading and lighting. Seeing this video brought such a smile to my face!! And it’s so helpful. Thank you so much :) ❤
This was the best tutorial I’ve ever watched. I have not ever been able to master this type of lighting effect until I watched your tutorial. Thank you Lucas.
You are one of the few artist out there who is not using the latest ipad pros with the fancy new apple pen and i really apreciate that..i too have only the ipad 9th gen with apple pen and im just starting to get into procreate so your videos are really helpful 👍
Thank you Lucas!! I've been struggling with how to paint light and this is just what I needed. This is an outstanding video. I love how vivid the colors are and you captured the light masterfully. I will definitely try this in procreate as well. I can't wait!!
I'm so glad I found your video and found a new artist I didn't know. Your videos really help me a lot in doing art work for me, who still lacks a lot of skills. I love this video😆😆
WOW! This is priceless! Lighting in any medium is crucial. I’ve done 3d art and one can only imagine how it can be there. (personally, I don’t even bother with the 3d models in Procreate) New subscriber! 🤗
This is such a great tutorial! I want to paint a cozy night scene with fairy lights and glowy windows and I didn't know how to do that digitally This made me so inspired!
Ein sehr ausführliches Tutorial. Es hat mich neugierig auf deinen gesamten Kurs gemacht. Danke fürs hochladen. (A very in depth tutorial. It got me curious about your full course. Thanks for sharing)
I usually don't write comments on youtube but this video was so helpful! I'm always struggling with lighting and this method really helped me improve. Keep it up!
@@LucasPeinador I am soo excited thanks. Now I just need an efficient method of sketching realistically that ids quick and accurate at the same time lol.
Oh my god! You took my drawing to the next level! I wanted it to be warmer and i didn't know how, but now i'm sooo proud of it! Thank you so much for this tutorial!
This looks a lot like Samuel Smith’s Lighting Principles course on Domestika. It’s very good. I just didn’t like how it felt awfully rushed. He practically sped painted through a lot of it. Would be curious to see your course Lucas. I’m sure it’ll be better.
Hi Lucas, I like sooo much what you are doing. I draw since I was 4 but I never took time to get technics. Talent is not all as you surely know. I’m thinking about taking your courses very seriously. But until then, I have a question : How about light on a building by night ? With those old neons’ lights that we used to see in 60s - 70s Las Vegas if you know what I mean. I love those kind of drawings but I am unable to make it looks realistic and fine. Would it be possible for you to have a video on that topic, please ? Thanks you very much and congratulations !
Hello Karen, such a nice comment, thank you very much. I will try to make a video like that in the near future. Thank you for the suggestion, and if you decide to buy my courses I will be happy to have you there.
Thank you so much, a great tutorial in my opinion. It was very useful for me cause I've been looking for how can i adjust lightening the right way in illustrations for along time but couldn't find any. Thanks 👍❤
😯 wo-wo-WOW finally a great ARTIST that shares useful style/technique and you are so great that you give me the feeling I can approach this... 👏 Direct to the point, useful, and definitly good marketing for the course. Thumb up!👍
I like this concept! thank you for sharing. I want to use this and instead of painting the light create the light with a shaper tool and fan the edges. (so it gives a blend of clean shadows fading into shadows - similar to the KLAUS tool)
Thank you very much for this video! It was easy to understand - mostly because I already know how to work with layers xd But this is definitely my kind of thing cuz i dont like spending too much time (that and i am very lazy lol) This is definitely gonna help with the mood of my artworks! Because I heard that certain lighting temperatures and colors can also depict a specific emotion on whatever is being illustrated.
3:23 basic local colors
3:50 top light
6:07 multiply
6:42 erase shadow
7:52 warm light
8:25 black+
8:48 lighting
10:47 cold moon light
11:23 glowing
Cool
@@LucasPeinadorhow do you do the multiply thing? Can you explain in further pls?

Perspective and lightings are the most important in a drawing in my opinion ✨

Yes they are super important 🙂

Just amazing my friend.
Thank you 😊
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Really helpful!

That’s a nice method. The issue is some ambient occlusion is gonna have to go when a key light is aimed directly at it.
With this method we can always adjust, to the environment that we want to create.
Once again Thanks for the comment I have something for you text me on telegram to claim your prize......................🎁👆👆
