Prayer studies (at least 10 that I have researched) since the one cited in this show demonstrate that those who know they are being prayed for show fewer recoveries. Those who are prayed for and don't know it are no better than average. Only the people who pray for themselves show even a slight benefit. Prayer is a resort of those who don't know of actual methods that work.
How humbling would that be to walk or stand where Jesus himself did? I wish I could experience that, but it will more then likely never happen. I do believe what the bible says to be the truth to the best of our knowledge.
It's truly humbling and it's possible too. Just believe and pray. I thought it was not possible too but God answered my prayer. I was able to visit all the places Jesus visited during his sojourner on Earth.
