Complete step by step guide to this bathroom renovation..... From start to finish Feature length version of this bathroom remodel i did a few years back..... let me know what you think to this style of video now and again.
Thanks mate….. They are hard to make week to week but putting them out a year or so later as a full renovation is great for those who missed it or didn’t see it all
Thanks mate…… This was a 4 part series a few years ago so thought I would do a full on feet up feature length version for those who may of missed it, or those that want to watch it in full.. Enjoy buddy
Hi Mark, yep I remember this one, I watched it again from start to finish, at my age a refresher is always good. I like the access hatch for the waste maintenance etc, it was a great job and different with the shower replacing the sunken bath. All trades worked well and contributed to a great job with a fantastic finish, well done team. As always, take care, regards Chris. 👍👍👍
Working with wood and boards, you are so lucky tiff. Here in kenya 🇰🇪 is all about stone and concrete walls 🧱 quite tricky, especially while doing repair work. Cheers, mate, job well done.
Thanks mate…. Thought I would try stitching it together as a full video, had to chop a few bits out like intros and outros but worked well… Might do some more
Thanks for that, Mark: nothing wrong with wheeling out a classic every now and again. It'll be interesting to see how the views profile compares to the usual 20-30 minute vids. I had to wait a few days until I'd got time to watch it in all its glory. It's the same length as Trainspotting ... but with a much nicer toilet!
Hahahaha brilliant 🤣🤣 Thought I would give this a try as some people never get to see the whole job in one go, plus with this you can drop back to it as and when..👍🏼👍🏼
Nice one, MJ, and the boys involved. A little bathroom reno, speaking for itself. Was dinky to keep the level of the bath bottom, and making the steps down into the shower. And I feel for the guys doing the 'herringbone', it looked to be one of those ones where you needed patience, patience, patience because there's so many cuts to do, of various lengths, to fit a small room. You think abut the end, how tt will look, to keep you going, and job done.👍👍
Brilliant video! What depth do you set your wall plate elbows at, in relation to finished wall depth? Going to try tackle this myself and it’s the only thing I’m unsure on. Thanks !
Thanks mate…… they are hard to do during the time as I like to get content out, however I have a good few older videos that are in parts that I’m going to put into 1 feature length video as people seem to enjoy then👍🏼👍🏼
Looks great. Why did you use copper pipe to the shower valve when you'd already put in push fit plastic just before it, why not use the plastic all the way to the valve?
for the shower valve is it ok to use 3/4" to 15mm couplers instead of 3/4" to 22mm. or do they need a certain length of 22mm pipe before reducing down to 15mm?
Good bathroom but shame the overflow was chrome. Would of been better with a basin with full ceramic basin overflow, as very hard to colour match with basin mixer. Nice bathroom though

First off welcome to the channel, glad you’re enjoying it. All depends on the head of water you have mate…. And what type of system. If in doubt then a pump would be a save option

Lovely workmanship from everyone involved. At least you've got easy access to shower trap if an issue ever occurred.
Thanks mate
I remember watching that video before Mark. I do like this style of full length jobs filmed from start to finish.
Thanks mate…..

I enjoyed the longer episode, great to see more detailed start to finish. Thank you Mark🙂👍

Thanks as always Chris….. was nearly 3 years ago this December 😮
@@MJTiffPlumbingwow, time goes so fast these days 👍👍👍
Interesting choice with the shower screen. Would have been perfect as a walk in with a single piece of fixed glass.
Yep I agree….. the customer deceied on this 👍🏼

That would be tricky at times
Remember watching this from start to finish great content and a cracking finish at the end
Thanks Glyn….. thought it would be good to wrap it all into 1 big video….👍🏼👌🏼
Nice video Mark..watched it end to end, absolutely brilliant! Keep them coming, the longer the better 👍

Yep…. They did an amazing job on a VERY tricky bathroom
Blimey Mark is it that long, great job to be involved with.
Yes mate…… nearly 3 years this December…..
Still looks so good👌🏼👌🏼

Really enjoyed that one Mark
Also lovely job 👍👍

Always best to do the tails in copper mate 👍🏼👍🏼
I remember this one excellent love it
Thanks Paul……
Being 1 full video people who missed it or didn’t see all the episodes can get to watch it all together 👍🏼
Looks very smart top job mate
Thanks mate
The shower looks fab😅
Thanks mate…… really enjoyed this one when we did it a few years back
looks really good
Thanks 👍🏼
Looks great , customer made a mistake with the nickel tap and waste , should have been black to match the other fittings 😀😁
Yep I think your right
Waste in shower was chrome too, as was the basin overflow. Those 3 different finishes would mess with my ocd🙈
Hi Mark, Great video as usual. Would it not have looked better if the Rad pipes had come through the Wall rather than the Floor.
All down to what the customer wants mate
Thats the best way to use a work light....if poss. bounce it off the ceiling.....PS. paint , a mist coat....ONLY ...
Amazing finish! How many days was the whole project?
Thanks buddy….
I think it was a 2 week turnaround on this one, the tiling was a big 3 day job
The feature length are good viewing
Thanks mate 👍🏼👍🏼
TT time. Tiff therapy
Hahah thanks mate
Hi do u know of quiet water heater element 11inch low wattage non kettling immersion heater its near bedroom many thanks
Not that I know of I’m afraid…. They are all the same I think

Never had an issue mate
What was the subfloor that the floor tiles were tiled to?
From memory it was hardie backer
👏👏
Thanks mate
Hi mark can u send me link to boiling tap u done cheera
Its in the description on that video mate 👍🏼👍🏼
How come copper and plastic pipes are used and not just one or the other? Hopefully its not a dumb question
Sometimes it’s just easier to do it that way…… real world plumbing
Quick question, how do you deal with asbestos or do you not bother to much?
If and when I will get someone in to remove it
@@MJTiffPlumbingloving your content, been watching you since I started my plumbing career and picked up a lot of tricks and confidence from you
Herring bone is a total nightmare, did a full bathroom refurb , due to the tiling 25 metres the job took me 80 hours
Yep…. My tilers agree…. Did you see there response in the video🤣🤣🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Good bathroom but shame the overflow was chrome. Would of been better with a basin with full ceramic basin overflow, as very hard to colour match with basin mixer. Nice bathroom though
Thanks mate glad you liked it
what was the total cost of that
Thanks for the content, just only later realised that it's probably an old video.
Does backing boards fixed only with screw without a washer?
Thanks mate…..
Yep they are fine….. in hindsight washers would of been worth fitting but wasn’t an issue
Don’t bite me but is that a gravity fed shower just going by the tank in attic?
It is buddy and works a treat

They are brilliant mate…. Used Nath and Matty for years…
Where abouts are you based??
why such a small shower tray please could you explain please
Watch the video and you will see
Can't see any extractor fan ?
Are you telling me or asking a question…… can’t work it out as it’s a statement with a question mark🤔
@MJTiffPlumbing " is there a extractor fan ? "
Is there a reason you didn't heighten the ceiling in the shower area?
Yep, that’s as high as it would go, as said in the video the house was on 2 levels…. That’s why it was dropped to start with
Blimey Tiff you’ve had a hard year my friend 😂 you’ve aged 5 years
Hahaha…. Tell me about it🤣

Is this a repeat?
Like I said in the intro….. I’ve packages it up into 1 full length video for those that haven’t seen it or watch a few of the episodes….
Filler panel to right of toilet would have finished it off
They wanted it open to put items in👍🏼
why such a small shower tray
