I am extremely surprised how much I enjoy this game. It’s definitely filling the void of games to play for me. I only tried it because it was free but now I paid for full version and I’m liking it a lot. I’m hoping the game gets attention and a second life
I highly recommend this game especially if you like dark souls or bloodborne type games, my favorite aspect is there are alot of items that give you a big advantage but you have to go EARN THEM BY COMPLETEING hidden events or tasks or discovering something hidden, there is NO MICRO TRANSACTIONS for the rich to cheat on, everyone is equal in this game the only destinction is the skilled and unskilled I love it
Grinded out the platinum trophy for Bloodborne and was left needing another souls or souls like experience without shelling out top dollar right now… Heard about this on PS+ and have put in over a hundred hours since then. Even snagged the DLC
It suddenly struck me, this game is everything “hellgate: london” tried to be (made by ex diablo devs) which had a ton of hype when it released but fall flat to its face within a year. The world wasn’t ready for that type of game back then.

Basically yes if you enjoy looter/weapon collection games and one with different difficulty settings. Its not the easiest game to figure out for just anyone to pick up but, it is definitely worth it form I can tell. As of right now too it’s on sale with the Black Friday deals so honestly if you want something to sink hours into for under $40 this is a great option!
Just bought it and the game won’t save my character. Forums and Arc support are useless so far. Anyone know how I can fix? I’m pretty sure I’m already past steams return period just trying to troubleshoot

That's if you want to go for a very specific hyper efficient build, you don't need any single item to play the game on the highest difficulty, there's no real reason to grind for anything in this game, at least I've never felt the need to.
Is there much build variation I.e gear, weapons, modifications, skills etc I’m not sure what the systems are like for this… I just find build crafting fun and keeps me playing longer since the game feels more fresh when you can change up your playstyle and what builds you’re playing

At the end of the video when you talked about new players having a hard time. That was me. I gave up and said f&(k it then a month later I jumped back in and played a few hours with random people and got my feet wet now I'm in love with this game and I can't stop playing it Solo and with friends/randoms. Once you understand the game it's incredible. I wish from soft multiplayer was this good.
I started playing it a week ago and I got a bit disappointed about the fact that we don't see that much cutscene after the introduction, in the intro you can see a real story starting, then you do a mission with some npc helping (I was really hyped that we could do some missions with npc on our side) but no, right after the introduction the second character become a vendor. That's kind of sad compared to all the potencial of this game. There is no more set of armor bonuses like in remnant, and there are only 5 region
Gunfire Games is prove of how gaming companies should be, this is actually their third game in this style and they are constantly improving. Even each DLC one can see the improvement in Boss design, animation, level design, economy tuning, etc. This studio is now one of the few 🙂 I follow
I really tried to get into this game, but it's not for me. Probably because mods don't drop loot, instead they drop upgrade materials. Which is fine I guess, but it feels like you aren't really progressing. Also there is way too much RNG for my liking.
I'm assuming you mean mobs don't drop loot other than upgrade materials. This is true but some mini bosses and all main bosses drop rare materials that you can use to craft unique items so that's how you progress. The fun in the game comes from going through the areas multiple times (if you want) and getting the rare materials from the different bosses that spawn and that will give you unique weapons and mods and amulets etc. Also different quests and general exploration gives you great loot.
got this at release and still havent been able to get anywhere in the story...Mostly because i suck at these kinds of games and i really didnt know what it was when i got it...I actually belived it was a exploration and a little shooting(alot n i mean alot less shotting is what i thought) boss fights i knew about and ok(but for me w arthritis in both hands this game is not far from impossible to playthrough(sadly) Anyway its a great looking and intresting game and i will yet another go at this during the weekend.....BUT A Huge but is that this time i will look for mods to help me out a bit so i atleast can get through this game n follow the story (story in games has becom my main reason since a few years back when i got this damn problem big time in my hands) Well getting older is not alays fun,But its also alot easier in many other ways i think(But not when it comes to gameplay in REMNANT 2 though ha,ha) Anybody knows a way to make this game much much easier?? is it mods or some kind of cheat that might be best suited for thei?? Hello I can understand your pain just for a bit because I'm 22 and I got arthritis at least since I was 14 I still can play shooter game but maybe not for years I hope you will be able to find your way to play remnant !
Co-op, get with someone who can help.yoh out and that makes it way easier. Also you can play on casual, which isn't easy because it doesn't have an easy mode but it's basically the normal mode. If that's not enough it's probably just for you and it'd be best to move on. Kinda like a souls game but this actually has a built in difficulty option...
Been playing for a couple of months now. Got my build up to slaying apocalypse, but not surviving a hit from that level. Nightmare is about the highest I can go, but the bosses will pimp slap me solo. The thing is, I still have no clue what the story is about lol, I don't care, just give me my corrupted shards and my loot 😂😂😂😂 and to my randoes whose game u join, stop being mad at my skill build. So what if everything is already wasted because of my status effects and the large radius , gets them before we know their there, it leaves us free for the boss fight, and loot 😂😂😂 let me cook darn it!!! 😅😅

@@gutsnglory72 well the bosses I melt would disagree with that . With the status build, nothing with a drop, dies instantaneously. Which means foot and gun play. And anyone who uses a status build knows that. They also know not to get hit. This and the arkon build are both notoriously squishy. So knowing the bosses and elites attacks r peromount, because u can't take not a single hit. Not one. Now tell me, how is this skilless?

It doesn’t take away from my point and I’ve put in nearly 700 hours and counting, so I’ve seen a fair amount. A lot of players rely on fast kills/meta builds and dots and it makes you soft in situations that will skill test you, if that’s all you do; which is what I’ve observed. Also, I could care less about melting bosses. Anyone can do that with a meta build. The non-meta builds are more respectable for me, but it still doesn’t impress or interest me. Call me old fashioned, but I like to actually fight my enemies, not melt them in seconds. Congratulations, you killed a boss in 10 seconds! Game over. Boring. But since we’re on the topic; what’s the point of killing the whole map or bosses hella fast on co-op if no one else is gonna be able to actually play, but just speed run along with you to the next dungeon. I get that there are situations that call for this speed run, but imo, doing it on co-op with randos just doesn’t make sense unless everyone is on the same page (playing with friends). It’s called co-op. Not solo-op. Might as well play solo if no one else gets to enjoy the game. Seems boring, cookie cutter, and pretentious. The best experiences I’ve had are playing random co-op with a squad that has synergy, an iota of teamwork, and strategy all w/o even communicating on mic. No one’s perfect, but I’ll take playing with a random who might go down several times who’s a team player than someone who’s a selfish player. Selfish players should just play solo if that’s their play style. It’s fun to try out meta builds, I have, but I don’t recommend relying on it if you actually want to git good.

@@jasonseow89 PRobably, especially since there are difficulties you can choose from, so if you dont want to suffer pain and exhaustion like me (i like that), you can choose diff 1 or 2 out of those 4 the game has to offer and you´ll be good. It can probably still be challenging since its a soulslike but it wont be super frustrating! I think you should give it a try and if you like it, you should try the dlc´s! IMO they´re awesome and add TONS of new stuff to grind for!
Nope, this is a slow lotter shooter with dark souls elements. Still a good game tho but Returnal is better. Remnant is more replayable probably due to build crafting and random world gen after level completion if you want to re-run levels.

This game is a complete waste of time way too hard for people who just want to enjoy a game . Game gives you no direction tells you absolutely nothing waste too bad it looks good but dying over and over is not fun in my book would never buy .

They added more bosses since launch and the game is on sale for half price right now, I'd say it's more worth playing now than at launch

Finding hidden stuff in this game is one of the best things about it for sure. Most of the items are really worth it as well.
