Sylosis have always been great, but they’ve taken an approach more appealing to a broader audience. Usually when a band does this, they lose a lot of their “old” fan base. Not these guys man, they found a way to keep the long timers happy and bring a new audience. Thrashy, riffage galore, and Josh’s vocals have improved loads
they're appealing to a broader audience by improving their songwriting, not by toning down on the aggression. that's the big difference i think. these last 4 singles are more memorable than anything on Edge of the Earth or Monolith

Hell ya man. Obviously I’m biased because I love Sylosis but this track is amazing. It’s hard not to love them with the talent Josh and Ali have. Now that Josh has left Architects I hope he keeps the Sylosis train going full speed and they get some more hype and appreciation. As always, love your energy and great reaction video. Keep it up!
This is why I think you should do something like “the annual beardies” where all the best songs from the year can get their own recognition, such as “best solo,” “heaviest breakdown,” “best clean vox,” or “most unique-sounding” instead of just a straight-up top 5. I think doing that would give you a lot more creative freedom :)
Both this and Deadwood are solid tracks but ngl this one has me worried. What makes them stand out is the combination of primal heaviness and sophisticated beauty. If they go "WE PLAY HEAVIEST METAL EVAH NOW" route it will become automatic and kinda soulless. yet to be seen. Regardless I will be forever grateful and appreciative of what they've put out so far.
