I would argue that "Deadwood" is the better of the two singles. This one is pretty bangin too though

You were correct, the drummer is from Bleed From Within and the bassist came from the band Conjurer
Their sound transported me back to 90s metal. If there’s any other Canadians here, this song would have featured on LOUD, which was a Saturday night metal show on MUCH.

Sylosis did take time off. Like 5 years so Josh could concentrate on architects. Sylosis is Josh’s main band. That’s his baby, he should concentrate on his passion project.
This new album is shaping up to be an absolute banger, probably the best album they have had since the beginning
Best thing to come out of Reading since Natalie Dormer. Wish they still did their album launch shows in the town centre though

You talked about Josh and Ali, but also shout out to Conor for absolutly shredding on bass-and his epic windmills. Doom metal isn't for everyone but people should try and check out his other band Conjurer they're sick too

If you guys haven't heard deadwood yet it's a must! Song of the year contender for sure
It is unfortunate that Josh discontinued his work with Architects, but I rather have it like this than the other way around. Architects will be around, with or without him, but Sylosis would not exist without Josh. On top of that, Sylosis is one of my absolute favorites, since I discovered "Edge of the Earth" more than 10 years ago.

So glad Josh left Architects. The last couple of albums were pretty watered down and boring imo. Sylosis is his baby and he should continue to grow it.
