Man it’s hard to find anyone doing quality like this anymore
One word: Craftsmanship. I could watch you make these all day.
Absolutely beautiful. Fantastic craftsmanship and attention to detail
I use to work leather years ago until I started battling arthritis. Miss it a lot. I throughly enjoy your work. Basket weave was my favorite form to use. It makes holsters and belts rich and elegant looking. Your work I’d exceptional.
Thanks so much for sharing your process. Don't need a million words either. As a leatherworker myself I understand all the processes completely. What stands out is your exceptional execution of each task. Truly the key. And done without the most expensive tools either.
One of the most impressive exhibitions of craftsmanship I have ever seen!!!
Beautiful work of art...!!!
Man, you've made a sharp rig there. And for a 1911, one of my favorite 'carry's. Slick job.
This is absolute top tier leathercraft work.
This is what it looks like when someone maxes out their leathercraft skill.
i only started a few weeks ago and im still just practicing and collecting tools.
Wow. Just wow. Love that basket weave pattern!
Dang, now that is a darn cool holster right there. Thanks for uploading this. Much appreciated ! 👍🏻
People forget. Dude rocks.
Thanks!
You sir are an amazing leather man. Great work.
Wonderful. If I wasn’t retired I’d definitely want one.
I don't think the General Public, realizes how much technique and art there is in making a holster such as this Mighty find sir.
Please keep making content! I look forward to seeing the awesome stuff you make!!!
Love the sound of the “creaking” leather.

Captain Justice came to teach us morality.
The most I ever did with leather was make me a pair of moccasins when I was a kid growing up on the reservation.

God bless you and your family brother.
That was/is a beautiful piece of leather art that is also functional. If I owned a revolver that would fit that type of holster this style would be at the top of my wish list. Very nice work and my hats off to your craftsmanship and artistic work.
On Leather worker earlier and I see the holster and think it looks awesome. Then come to UA-cam and low and behold I'm already a subscriber and get to see how you made it. Deserved to be in the show off section.

First I want to say, I’m 67 years old and have carried a 1911 for years. Second I’m a saddle and holster maker myself, and you have taught me some tricks. Pleas explain reason for the saddle soap before stamping process. Beautiful job.

beautiful work of skilled art
I thought I was the only one who scribed multiple lines when doing basketweave. lol It's good for making sure you're not pinching a little away here and there on slight offset placement. Great work as always.
Also, magic eraser to take the top layer of dye off of the weave to make it stand out? That's a hell of a lot easier than worrying about getting your resist correct on that part after airbrushing. :)
Amazingly beautiful.. You're a real craftsman.
Wow. That is BEAUTIFUL!

Nicest holster’s . Love watching your videos I’ve never made a holster but do a lot of leather work and I always watch your videos and get inspiration. I think you have the nicest holsters on UA-cam and you are an excellent leather worker.
I appreciate that!
@@RoadAgentLeather just curious how long have you been doing leather work? I’ve been doing it for about 4 years now myself and love it. Great for calming my mind. Also what leather do you usually use for your holsters is it from Tandy or Herman oak
I received a message saying I’ve won a prize but didn’t think this was you. Just wanted to let you know someone was doing this on your channel
This is so amazing and a real work of skill and art.

Nice job. I use to make holsters for myself because I was left handed and those are sort of harder to find but I used to line the inside with chamois. Yours was is nicer than mine. Once made the western belt, bullet loops and holster. I still piddle around with leather once in a while.
Awesome craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing
Fellow leather worker/holster maker here. I see only one issue w/your work/holster: it's too darn good lookin' to use!
At the end you should show what it looks like with a gun and on the hip. Great work 👏
