I'm a leftist and a Sikh. So I don't have much in common with people watching this channel, but I am with you on this particular topic. I have directly witnessed friends being manipulated by the transgender industry.

"I HAD TO COME TO THE END OF MYSELF" That was so powerful to hear just now. 33:00mins in. Can I just mention how helpful and uplifting this is for me struggling mid trans. 3 years in with 2/3 surgeries and being in a gay relationship/engaged to a women but came back to JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. Now I let the relationship go and I am struggling for what to do next. Just got baptized yesterday with my kids who calls me dad which is wrong. It's been so confusing to them since they're young. But I need guidance on if detransitioning is bad. I feel I'm stuck this way and it's my punishment for changing my body.
God I ask you to send your truth and light on what I must do to be closer to you.
Thank you for this video and message of loving people where they are because you can reach a person better without judgement or criticism.

First I’m so happy God called you into a relationship with Him in Jesus Christ! It will not be easy but He always says consider the cost.. the cross isn’t fun but it’s so full of joy once we begin to die to flesh daily. God can and will change you back into who He created you to be.. actually better.. Detransitioning isn’t wrong as your identity is in Jesus… He is the potter let Him mold you into the woman you should be.. pray for your babies and ask God for wisdom on how to explain to them in words they can understand the truth of who you are and whose you are.. with love!! Thank you Jesus!

I feel that the most heloful apprioaches in this area are ones that focus on practical issues. Much of the practical ideas come from people who claim to be non religious but have very helpful practical ideas.
And......churches should not make detransitioning compulsory however there may be more and more detransitioners and some will have church involvement.

Thankyou so much darling. I have no money but I am praying that the body of Christ will provide for you. So often the most important things to say are said by people who can't pay their bills. Come on guys. Look after eachother

I believe though we love people we need to always speak truth. So if people know this young lady was female they would need to address her as such.. knowing God would never affirm that kind of confusion and deception. He would speak truth in love

Swyers syndrome, Cheryl....these are men born with vaginas, or women born with male chromosomes, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XY_gonadal_dysgenesis and xx male syndrome, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XX_male_syndrome which are women with penises or men with women;s chromosomes Either way, they are naturally born transgenders and will be "cross-dressing" because hey, their brain is male and their genitalia female, or vice versa Do you honestly think God would not affirm these people when they choose what to live at? Of course he would, they were born transgender and its not their fault! We need to look beyond whats on our street sometimes to have a full picture of this world.

What an amazing and moving interview. Thank you! Here’s my question. We have a family that we just learned has a daughter that is transitioning. I am sure that they want to know how welcoming our church would be to this daughter. My concern is how confusing this would be for the children and teenagers in our congregation. How much risk do we take or is there another way to potentially minster to this daughter without jeopardizing many, many others. We are a new and small parish with fewer than 100 people.
    Blessings.

An honest question for you with this very difficult situation: wouldn't you agree that speaking the truth in love is the best way to minister to this daughter? Wouldn't that be the most truly "welcoming" thing to do? Why would you believe that "welcoming" this daughter means affirming her in a false identity?

I would focus on genuinely walking with this family member. I would use the name and pronouns the family member gives you (because research consistently states that mental health outcomes improve). It's usually the case that older adults are far more confused than children and teens.

I agree with the answers because the real issues are being faced. Cookie cutter Christians don’t always seem to have a faith, and huge serious issues underline even a small congregation. The Bible says to, “love one another”.

@@mandelbrotset4142I’m sure that question is asked because it may be looked at as stumbling others in the body of Christ who might suffer with these temptations. I would say close counsel with the young lady letting her know while you love her you can’t affirm this spirit that is overtaking her. My question is does she want Jesus? Is she coming to church to live for and serve Jesus because the church is made up of the church.. not a place to go but a people to be.. And we want to be wise.. in scripture the church was being added to with people repenting and coming to Jesus.. it was never a place for the lost to visit unless they wanted to be found.. if someone living in adultery, or in the alphabet community wanders among the church it shouldn’t take them more than a few weeks to no longer want to be there if their intentions aren’t to give their hearts to Christ, on the other hand if she wants Jesus then truth, in love and not backing of the standards of this is the way to go.. to counsel her and pray for the congregation and allow them to see she’s trying to live for God and changing into the woman she should be.. is important.. finding her identity in Jesus.. that He didn’t make a mistake.. sermon’s on identity in Christ.. etc. prayerfully

@@Kharisma1980using the names and pronouns is lying . We shouldn’t lie to them any more than we would to an anorexic who thinks they weigh 300 lbs.. but is starving to death. Many in the trans community so detransitioned because of Jesus say that lying to them hurt them more than helped because it means we are not trustworthy..
