My wife's sister has a 6 year old boy and she is in total denial. Everyone in the family thinks her boy is autistic but if you bring it up, she gets very defensive. Her and her husband need to get him into therapy or do something to help him. He does most of the things in this video but they have 10,000 excuses for his behavior. If you bring up autism at all, she gets offended and angry. There are other kids in the family around his age so it is abundantly clear that he is not neuri typical.
I think its something no parent wants to hear, also why would other People tell them? The doctor or a teacher should say it not just whoever, it hurts to hear this and is no other People business😢 really sad and disrespectful
@DaliaLuevanos i didnt mention it in the originial post but her old doctor did bring it up, as did his original preschool teacher. She switched doctors and switched preschool. So those people have already told her to get him tested but she won't.

Your family is awesome🎉 Watching the older children help out is so sweet ❤ I did tear up and cry @ the regression part as my boy is 2 and I've seen this happen. The first signs I noticed in my boy were at 4 months old, he'd roll around in his crib always managing to bump his head... Even though I had padding all around the crib . @ 6 months I noticed the hand flapping also rocking himself in his rocking chair fast for long periods of time ( now has stoped rocking completely). By his 1st year he was an expert spinner he also jumps and sometimes walks on tippy toes. He is 2 going on 3 in November. We are making progress and going to therapy 4 times a week . 😊 He goes to therapy for social occupational and speech . Also my son had a huge thing with texture as a baby . He did not like water and grass . As a baby he ate everything! But now he's turned into a picky eater. He is obsessed with fuzzy blankets . Last year for Christmas everyone kept asking him what he wanted or liked, it's blankets 🎉🎉🎉 lol
As a kid, I complied with requests to smile for the camera, but had no idea how to smile on command. There are a ton of photos of me baring my teeth at the camera, but not a lot with actual smiles. In adulthood I manage not to look crazy, but my camera smile tends to be more muted than others 'cause I've never entirely mastered it.
One of my signs that because I have autism is shaking my feet, and having my hands on the desk, or on a table and taking my feet on the floor and shaking them a lot

Grocery Shopped earlier today and FOUND a Fisher Melon; most probably a hybrid of Canary Golden Yellow, weighing about three pounds and at Kroger; Nine Bucks! They had Melon Assortment; Only Two Fisher Melons however..
I have a 3.5 yo nephew who has issues , we just got to know about this last year. Before it I never knew anything about neuro divergence etc. I'm from India and autism adhd etc is still not well known in the general public.
I was personally devastated when I googled stuff and did my own research, youtube helped a lot and I found many channels including yours to educate myself about what autism spectrum is and how it's different in individuals.
My family never accepted the truth, they said oh he'll speak when he's 3 or in a few months etc etc oh it's just speech delay and stuff like that I had to force them to consult a pediatric neuro. and the doc himself couldn't diagnose completely , he said there are some sensory issues and an obvious speech delay but it's too early to call autism and that's it. But I knew it was autism, I had spent almost 6 months doing nothing but only research research on autism and related stuff I went mad depressed and everything at the same time.
I only noticed last week when looking at some old photos of me as a kid that I rarely smiled on request and was often stimming with my hands. It makes sense because I didn’t understand the significance of smiling at a small box, especially one with a really bright, unpredictable light on it (I’m hypersensitive to light). There are also photos where I’m *trying* to do what I see others doing to a confusing flashing box but I look confused and the actions look very awkward.

My son’s teacher thinks my son might have Autism and she tested him as severe but he acts nothing like your babies. According to the teacher he shakes his hands sometimes, he struggles with his letters, numbers and how to write. He has trouble moving on from task to task, he has days when his upset so he cries and has trouble taking commands. Now at home he doesn’t have any issues. He can talk to us and no issues taking commands or completing a task at home. He reminders things that had been days or weeks even months. When we get home we do see a struggle learning but he eventually gets it and we give it a few mins and he says he forgets. This is stressing my wife out and we can’t get him evaluated anytime soon and the closest time we got is 6 months out. What is your opinion do you think those are signs of autism because I don’t think so.

The only way to really know is by an evaluation from a professional, but Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by 3 specific challenges in social interaction, communication difficulties, and repetitive behaviors. An individual must have struggles with all three in order for them to be autistic. It is considered a spectrum disorder because it can manifest in a variety of ways and to varying degrees of severity. If you have concerns, I would get on the waiting list. I’ve seen videos they a metal detox helps kids out with concentration and focusing as well speech. I’m not sure true this is but I’m doing my due diligence.
Yeah, we’ve tried 1 million different detox things. Ultimately, you have to understand what autism is, which actually I would watch this video first. Things like that can help if there is a problem there anyway, but it is not a cure…
Well, a sign is not even wanting to be enough photo. I had the sign throughout my life. I wasn't really that interested in looking at a Camera on request and I've just had to adapt Another sign is walking late. I also had the sign and I was walking. at almost one I'm pretty sure it took me awhile to walk and when I was about two I still wasn't fully walking but I would scoot and yeah Another sign I had is I wasn't really talking in that sense and even if I was trying to talk, it would get all jumbled up so I was practically considered non-speaking then To sum up this comment I had delayed. It just wasn't severe as Ezra is but of course it took me many years and I'm just :)💓 Also, I was level two, and that basically means that people have delay it's just not as severe but does need supports in some areas!! And also, even now my speech is not perfect. I still stutter a lot and sometimes I can't even get what I'm trying to say, and even sometimes it can still get jumbled up so every child is different and some people may need more support and some might need I just wanted to share about my best friend as well her name Is Annalise she mainly suffers from a migraine disorder and autism as well She is level two, but she is slightly level three a little bit but it's more level two even though she thinks her speech is perfect as I was observing her once I noticed that her speech wasn't perfect, and every child is different. Some might have amazing speech, or some might have really hard time with speaking!!
Where and how shall I seek any diagnosis for my child? His behavior mirrors Ezra. A few differences, etc but I’m not sure how to go out and get my son checked. Thank you!
If you are in the USA, you can go to his pediatrician and talk about your concerns and ask for an autism assessment from a clinical psychologist. A pediatrician cannot diagnose autism, but they can refer you to someone who can. The clinical psychologist can do an assessment of autism and one that I would recommend is the ADOS - 2 test.
Emmalina does flapping but waves her hands and does hair chewing eats dish soap suds that's some signs . Spins in circles doesn't sit in chair long stands up climbs everything

@@7Aheadfamily tooth brushes, hand soap containers, dish soap, her clothes, anything . I don't let her have necklaces because she ends up wrapping things around her neck or bags she puts on her head.
Oh, That is scary, that she wraps things around her neck. We make sure that Ezra doesn't have his cords in his bed, just in case of that happening. Does she chew on things at night? Ezra does that.
Yes! Ezra loves closing doors. He wants them all closed. If there’s ever an open door, he will close it. Ezra gets very excited about opening and closing our gate on the side of our house. He can open and close it for hours and just laugh.

@@7Aheadfamily she plays with cupboard doors mainly. I lock doors like basement and there are gates blocking my front door and back door. She doesn't like grass she likes to be inside so that's good there
Ezra always used to go for the cupboards too. We had to get locks for those. That's nice to have gates in place. That's great that she likes being inside, that reminds me of Simon. Does she like going out to different places? like the park, or library?
@@7Aheadfamily I haven't taken her to the park yet she likes to go shopping and sits in the buggy she wants me to carry her if I don't put her in the shopping buggy. Everything depends on her mood too. Sometimes she just wants to be home in her pj's playing with her toys. She seems more of a home body she gets overwhelmed even shopping at times and she prefers to play alone. She doesn't like when we just go in living room to play or sit there she comes to get me when she wants me to play something with her. So I take her cues. She seems to be more of a loner and enjoys that . Too many kids together for her ends up being too much after awhile she acts out or repeats what they did the day after or a few hours after
huh. Interesting. Simon has a hard time with too many kids too. But he loves the park and even places where there are lots of people, he usually is ok, if he's close to me. Does she have a friend who she can play with, even if they just play next to each other? Just wondering. And maybe she'll show more interest in other kids as she gets older too.
Now i qanna know how much icecream cost? I know its gonne be some outrageous amount like everything now days. Darn shame families cant even enjoy a simple old past time like getting icecream with your family. Now days nobody can afford it & its sad really.. Everythings about $ now days & whos got it..
So true! We were planning on getting some. so we got in line to get everyone some ice cream, and it was about $12 for each person. That's like $84 for our family! So ended up just going to a local supermarket and purchasing some ice cream for $6 and eating it in the RV. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

It depends on the day. He likes to take his cords and cables around wherever he goes, but he likes his cars when he's in. his bed and in the house. Also, Simon loves cars, so he likes them when he sees Simon wanting them too! Simon is not interested in cords at all. Do you like cars?
Yes i've always had a soft spot for them. I used to open and close the doors even got me in trouble. Ian got me to appreciate sports cars. I don't know much about them unfortunately. I also had a thing for electrical wires as a kid.
Some Folks have Found Great Relief by soaking in a combo of Arm and Hammer Soda and BENTONITE CLAY; a ratio of; One pound Soda and half Jar (4 to 8 ounces of Bentonite CLAY; In a Soaking Tub of very warm water, warm enough to stay comfy for 0ne half hour/ This is your appointed Soaking Time. Once your skin begins to feel "better" you might want to lightly "scrub"the areas infected, as The Oil most probably still on surface your skin!
Ezra likes to play with cords because it is the way that he stims. Stimming is a self regulatory stimulating behavior. He likes to wrap the chords around his kinds and hold them and throw them and pick them up again. Hope this helps❤️
Very true. And actually, Ezra has ADHD and Autism. So That makes sense. Our son Simon doesn’t sit in a chair either, it’s such a spectrum it looks differently sometimes. But thank you for clarifying that. ❤️
There is another definition of eloping: It's common for children who have autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to run or wander away from caregivers or secure locations. This is also called elopement. Thank you for sharing. It can be a little confusing. ❤️

Yeah. I sure hope so. Simons speech is coming along quite well. He can say lots of words now, just not usually lots all together. 😀❤️

There was certainly a process of many emotions when we first found out. It is entering the unknown and the unexpected so it is difficult.

Oh, That is scary, that she wraps things around her neck. We make sure that Ezra doesn't have his cords in his bed, just in case of that happening. Does she chew on things at night? Ezra does that.

Our autistic grandson loves opening & closing doors
Yes! Ezra loves closing doors. He wants them all closed. If there’s ever an open door, he will close it. Ezra gets very excited about opening and closing our gate on the side of our house. He can open and close it for hours and just laugh.
Wow emmalina does that stuff too. She takes empty dish soap and takes spoons . Emmalina opens doors ugh and leaves them open sometimes closes them too
Thanks for sharing!! I've heard that playing with doors is a common past time. How do you help her stay safe when she can open doors, does she not run away?
@@7Aheadfamily she plays with cupboard doors mainly. I lock doors like basement and there are gates blocking my front door and back door. She doesn't like grass she likes to be inside so that's good there
Ezra always used to go for the cupboards too. We had to get locks for those. That's nice to have gates in place. That's great that she likes being inside, that reminds me of Simon. Does she like going out to different places? like the park, or library?
@@7Aheadfamily I haven't taken her to the park yet she likes to go shopping and sits in the buggy she wants me to carry her if I don't put her in the shopping buggy. Everything depends on her mood too. Sometimes she just wants to be home in her pj's playing with her toys. She seems more of a home body she gets overwhelmed even shopping at times and she prefers to play alone. She doesn't like when we just go in living room to play or sit there she comes to get me when she wants me to play something with her. So I take her cues. She seems to be more of a loner and enjoys that . Too many kids together for her ends up being too much after awhile she acts out or repeats what they did the day after or a few hours after
huh. Interesting. Simon has a hard time with too many kids too. But he loves the park and even places where there are lots of people, he usually is ok, if he's close to me. Does she have a friend who she can play with, even if they just play next to each other? Just wondering. And maybe she'll show more interest in other kids as she gets older too.
Now i qanna know how much icecream cost? I know its gonne be some outrageous amount like everything now days. Darn shame families cant even enjoy a simple old past time like getting icecream with your family. Now days nobody can afford it & its sad really.. Everythings about $ now days & whos got it..
So true! We were planning on getting some. so we got in line to get everyone some ice cream, and it was about $12 for each person. That's like $84 for our family! So ended up just going to a local supermarket and purchasing some ice cream for $6 and eating it in the RV. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

Does Ezra like cars as much as cables?
It depends on the day. He likes to take his cords and cables around wherever he goes, but he likes his cars when he's in. his bed and in the house. Also, Simon loves cars, so he likes them when he sees Simon wanting them too! Simon is not interested in cords at all. Do you like cars?
Yes i've always had a soft spot for them. I used to open and close the doors even got me in trouble. Ian got me to appreciate sports cars. I don't know much about them unfortunately. I also had a thing for electrical wires as a kid.
Sports cars are pretty cool. and Ian sure knows his cars. What kind of cars do you like?
Lamborghini's. That also happens to be Ian's favorite. I think Ferrari's are cool.

Some Folks have Found Great Relief by soaking in a combo of Arm and Hammer Soda and BENTONITE CLAY; a ratio of; One pound Soda and half Jar (4 to 8 ounces of Bentonite CLAY;
In a Soaking Tub of very warm water, warm enough to stay comfy for 0ne half hour/ This is your appointed Soaking Time. Once your skin begins to feel "better" you might want to lightly "scrub"the areas infected, as The Oil most probably still on surface your skin!

Ezra likes to play with cords because it is the way that he stims. Stimming is a self regulatory stimulating behavior. He likes to wrap the chords around his kinds and hold them and throw them and pick them up again. Hope this helps❤️

Very true. And actually, Ezra has ADHD and Autism. So That makes sense. Our son Simon doesn’t sit in a chair either, it’s such a spectrum it looks differently sometimes. But thank you for clarifying that. ❤️
