Mf's know they will never achieve anything in their life so they brag about playing a 30 song 700 times in a row. And they believe that the egirl in their edating discord server will like them. Game is fun, horrible players.
Personally, I don't think you can say one allows more precision in general. It requires a lot of time to develop the muscle memory for both. It very likely could be a quicker process for most with tablet, but especially for anyone that already using one daily, that's going to be the easier one to work on.

Mouse drift is pretty easy to control. The real is that you have way more control over a pen, and you've learnt how to use one since you were born. Also it's just more fun

Reminds me of that time when I went to a friend's house, saw his tablet and asked if he's a digital artist. He said no and he used it for this game apparently. It was also back when tablets were more expensive and less popular, insane investment for a free game.

@zhuchio I havent been playing at a high level for a couple years now but when I was osu was one of the friendliest communities. Would always add someone after a multi lobby. The best brazillian player even coached me and gave me advice on how to improve. Osu is frankly a game that is pure bliss to those who love mechanics and doing shit thats hard. There is no feeling like fc'ing a map you retried 100 + times.

its definitely personal preference. there is currently 3 mouse players (chicony, ninerik, nyanpotato is 11 rn but has been 5) in the top 10, as well as another 2 mouse players (arnold and andros) that have been top 10 in the past 2 years-ish. nyanpotato in particular is up there with mrekk and lifeline in terms of aim. while all are primarily dt players, there is also asecretbox in the top 30 who is one of the best stream players in the game
On the flip side as an artist who only recently started digital art, I'm used to adjusting my wrist to compensate for mouse drift, so I try to re adjust and compensate while drawing on my tablet when I don't even need to because there's no drift. This stuff is really interesting

I have a convertible laptop with a stylus, and depending on the size, it might be harder compared to the intuos tablet. Mine was 15.6 inches and you'd have to move your arm a decent bit. A 13 in convertible laptop might work better
Finally someone that agrees that tablet is obviously better and not saying anything about personal preferences. Like seriously imagine writing or drawing shapes with a mouse, obviously it's going to be harder than with a tablet. Or the fact that the majority of top players use mouse. I stopped playing osu a long time ago. The reason wasn’t mouse drifting, it for me was that it felt more better then holding a pen.

Back when i still used computers, i upgraded to a drawing tablet and never used a mouse again. 😅
its definitely personal preference. there is currently 3 mouse players (chicony, ninerik, nyanpotato is 11 rn but has been 5) in the top 10, as well as another 2 mouse players (arnold and andros) that have been top 10 in the past 2 years-ish. nyanpotato in particular is up there with mrekk and lifeline in terms of aim. while all are primarily dt players, there is also asecretbox in the top 30 who is one of the best stream players in the game

I don't have a drawing tablet, so I use the touchpad on my PS4 controller. Actually works kinda well.
How do u connect that to osu! and how do u use the stylus thingy

On the flip side as an artist who only recently started digital art, I'm used to adjusting my wrist to compensate for mouse drift, so I try to re adjust and compensate while drawing on my tablet when I don't even need to because there's no drift. This stuff is really interesting
I actually think it makes it easier to aim aswell

I've played osu! long before I buy a tablet... But yeah, when I buy a tablet it's pretty hard to get used to it, and then I wondered if playing osu! with it would help me to get used to it... And it actually works, lol... I still prefer to use a mouse for osu! tho...

I have a convertible laptop with a stylus, and depending on the size, it might be harder compared to the intuos tablet. Mine was 15.6 inches and you'd have to move your arm a decent bit. A 13 in convertible laptop might work better

I've tried both, tablet is easier but some songs can be brutal with it so depending on the song mouse might be better.
Finally someone that agrees that tablet is obviously better and not saying anything about personal preferences. Like seriously imagine writing or drawing shapes with a mouse, obviously it's going to be harder than with a tablet. Or the fact that the majority of top players use mouse. The fact that there are less than 20 mouse players in the top 100(if I remember correctly as of now) says a lot. Even so I still want to stay as a mouse player because *pride*.
Preference, both playstyles have their pros and cons
