Thanks for the comment! Learning "Hanja" is not as obligated as it is learning Kanji in Japan. It's more of an option and just better to know since advanced vocabulary come from it! :)
I've been occasionally jumping in to learn a few words from you guys while I'm studying Finnish. I think afterwards I'm gonna go all out and take full Japanese classes. Thank you, guys.
Thank you so much for the comment!! We're glad to know that your planning to learn Japanese is more seriously after you're done studying Finnish!! Hope our videos help you then and thanks for catching up with our content😊
I'm Japanese.I love your videos! I study English now. Your videos are good for me to practice listening skills. Thank you very much! 私は日本人です。イェナさんとノリさんの動画が大好きです!楽しくリスニングの練習ができて、助かってます!ありがとうございます。 これからも頑張ってください!!

I'm from the UK , my only language is English but I'd love to understand Japanese. I feel my mushy aging brain isn't capable of retaining another language.
Oh my God. This is the first time watching your channel through auto algorithm. Yena's birthday is the same as my mother. Nori's birthday is the same as mine. I'm having a weird sensation... I should keep watching this channel.
Curious, do you guys work at StudyIn? Is that your full time employer that provides you a visa to live in Japan? Or do you guys work for another company that sponsors you and this is your side hobby/passion/project/part time job? Thank you! 🙏🏼
I think you forgot the topic guys on how you two meet. I'm curious. 😆😄😊 And also I have a suggestion guys. Why don't you use a book for teaching Japanese. Like ' Minna no nihongo ' or 'Genki'. After that you can proceed for teaching the Kanji and the Japanese culture. I think that would be much better for Diving into the Japanese Language and Culture. 😄😊
Would you guys mind to recommend us book in japanese (korean sounds interesting as well) that you guys like ,bc i think somehow japanese writer capture different essence than usual
Hey Nori and Yena! Thanks for all the Japanese learning shorts and content :) it rly made my Japanese learning process a lot easier. I'm Korean and whenever I saw Yena, I had this gut feeling that she IS Korean, but then I wasn't sure. I assume this video confirms that my guess was right :) It's so interesting that both of you have such an international background! Learning Japanese was actually quite cool to me cuz there r so many similarities to Korean (grammarwise but also lots of words). Just like Yena said in the video, the hardest part of it is definitely Kanji. We actually call it Hanja in Korean and it does help to know it but it's optional, meaning we don't use Kanji as often and not knowing it doesn't affect u at all. Still, learning Kanji helps me improve both my Korean and Japanese, so I guess it is a double benefit lol
Hey there Yujin! Thank you so much for your kind comment :) We're happy to know that our content makes your Japanese learning process a lot more easier :) And YES! You were right about Yena being Korean haha Glad to have a Korean subscriber watching our content❤As you said, Kanji is the most difficult part for Koreans as well when learning Japanese since learning Hanja is optional, so I totally feel you🥺Though, we're in this together!! 一緒に頑張りましょう🔥
@Andi Pangerang yes, I watched the video, but It's now apparent to me that rather than day jobs they work work making referrals for lodging, jobs, run a language program, etc.- they have a link in the description. Some folks only teach Japanese and have a day job, supplementing their income with Patreon accounts, etc. This isn't clear in the video, and I don't have any problem with it. I also follow other Japanese teachers who do the same thing.
Thanks for the comment! Grammar-wise it is similar and comparatively easy, but still the Kanji part is the most difficult part and is where a lot of people struggle😅
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for the love and support!!❤🔥 We really appreciate it and could never be more grateful to have such amazing subscribers and followers😎 We'll do another video about us after reach our next milestone, so stay tuned!!🥳一緒に日本語を楽しんで勉強しましょう😊これからもよろしくおねがいします!

OmG Nori really is great in English. I didn't think he was Japanese actually
Great! But if it's not too private a topic, what do you do for work?
@Andi Pangerang yes, I watched the video, but It's now apparent to me that rather than day jobs they work work making referrals for lodging, jobs, run a language program, etc.- they have a link in the description.
