I’m new to archery, just walked in that shop on Tuesday. Bruce spent 4 hours with my wife and I. I shot 6 or 8 bow’s and walked out with the sr350 I am loving it. Great shop great people. Wonderful experience!
Great to hear! Congrats
The Revolt XL is the smoothest drawing bow at a 31.5" DL I have felt in 36 years of bowhunting, not to mention it holds rock solid. Even in performance mode it is worlds better than Bowtech's previous bows on that setting. I finally found a replacement for my Reign 7.
Agreed!
I’m looking to upgrade from my rein 7 too I think I’m going to get the revolt xl
I love this Shop Bruce is so Awesome. He set my son up with a Prism and he loves it.
Great guy!
Nice video just might have to get one . The 350 looked pretty sweet. And happy birthday bro .
Thanks man!
I was set i was gunna buy the Solution ss and i picked up the SR 350 for hahas and was blown away by the draw cycle for a speed bow ,the back wall was brick wall solid and like you guys say ,you have to literally push forward to get it to come down on a draw .it isn’t jumping AT ALL like a lot of speed bows are and why i was gunna not even bat an eye at it.The grip is very basic but it feels good and feels like you can repeat it every time like i have been shooting the bow my whole life.Needless to say i just dropped a deposit on a SR 350 a couple hrs ago.It really changed the the stereotype of speed bows .I highly recommend shooting one!
Agreed
It's amazing that Bowtech took this long to go back to the SR6 technology. I'm still super interesting in the X80, but the SR350 will be hard to pass up on if it's at all like my SR6, just improved.
For sure! Both are great
Great vid!
Thank you!
Serious bows!
Yessir
I went out and shot the sr 350 . That’s my next bow! I’m getting older and comfort is a must. I don’t need to shoot 70 pounds and 60 was like shooting 50-55 in other bows.
Yeah for sure! Great draw
I don’t think guys that shoot 80lb do it just because they want to say they shoot 80 they do it because of the increase in energy. Flatter shooting harder hitting 80lbs is a benefit in every way if you can shoot it comfortably.
Thanks for the comment!
Ordered a Revolt XL from my shop today.
That one was awesome 👌
It was kind of hard to hear with the background noise. Did Bruce say the new bows have metal limb pockets?
Not sure if he said
Happy late b day James!
Thanks bro!
Happy birthday sir
Thanks man!
Damn lotta haters on here the guy is trying to make a video that supports a small business with excellent costumer service
If you don’t like bow tech they sell PSE ELITE and Prime also..
This shop is the best in so cal hands down. Bruce Ernest Nick and Dave are all stand up guys that will help you out no matter what even if you didn’t buy from them and no matter what race color or creed you are.
Thanks for the comment!
@@BowDisciples no problem keep up the vids especially the ones with the girls love seeing Bruce try to concentrate on teaching while trying not to stare.
the x80 isn't a hammer. that thing is a rocket!
For sure!
Happy belated birthday 12-10-90 over here
Thanks brother! You too
Thank you, my first thought about the cam over was the same as you said; it's almost like you have to push the string forward.
Thanks bro
Is there something wrong with the audio between 0:48 and 3:28???
Yeah some mic issues. Got it sorted after that though!
I still shoot my experience it never creeps or tears my shoulder off it’s still the best bow I ever shot
Congrats! I love that bow
Do they have the sr350 in 80 pound?
Nope
I think the sr350 in the video has the wrong draw stops on it might still have the old mods they released a version 2 on the mod to get more to the advertised speed
These are the original mods. I did a follow up video with the second one
Happy birthday james I have the bowtech revolt and I love it
Great bow! Thank you
@@BowDisciples your welcome
Def was thinking of upgrading from my BTX28… But I still not WOW yet…
That's a great bow
I have a BTX28 and just bought the S350.. cant go wrong with either.
Both great!
Glad I pulled the trigger on a custom Solution a month ago, not impressed with the new ones. Might just be cause I love my Solution so much😂
Great bow!
I started archery hunting with Bear, then moved to a Realm X, sold it for a Mathews VXR, then sold the VXR for the Mathews VX3 33" Now, I'm headed back to the shop tomorrow to shoot some Bowtech's. The draw cycle and the valley in the new Bowtech's just can't be touched in my opinion.
Let me know what you get!
@@BowDisciples So I actually ended up with the Hoyt Ventum Pro 33"!!
Nice, congrats!
The sr350 in this video has a blue cable stop, which means it is the wrong cable stop and mod! So the speeds are not right. Bowtech is sending out the right parts to all those dealers who received the wrong ones! They know by serial numbers which is which!!
Thanks!
Happy Born on day , sorry I be late
Thanks Chris!
It's a little strange the way this industry feels the need to pump out new models. Is the sr350 better than the sr6? They probably could have just continued selling the sr6.
The SR350 is better yes
Yeah like the bow techs use to shoot them but does not compare to 2022 hoyts!! And by the way need to put the sr 350 through the chrno, on comfort setting it’s hitting low 320s lol very disappointing! Flip it over and it’s up to 330 but draw is way to aggressive!! U can get much better bows at 330
Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it. Merry Christmas!
I’m from the East and I won’t own a bow shorter than 34” ata. I prefer 38” ata
👍👍👍
The sr350 has a smooth draw because it's not reaching the 350 ibo. Shoots much slower.
Thanks
What did it chrono for u?
@@LetThemGrow check out mfjj's channel with podium archery. He shoots the bow through Chrono
@@brockpeck7073 His chrono makes all bows slow. I was wondering how it did for u.
We didn't chrono it
Funny how 80lb is called a hammer nowadays 😂 tbh that’s a relatively slow hammer.
Thanks for watching!
@@BowDisciples of course it’s good content thank you.
Ypu were shocked with the sr350 because it's not 350 fps bow. It's a 332fps at best with all the tests I've seen.
Ok lol
SR 320. SLOWTECH , & HOYT......lie!!! I'm not a fan of Bear archery but one of their new flagships actually shoots 343 ft per second!
Thanks for the comment!
Torey...which bow was that? Curious and always wanting to check reviews and just how these bows are actually reviewed. Potential customers deserve real numbers and better reviews, imo.
Where did I say this was a review?
@@BowDisciples....after reading your very educational and informative replies to most of the comments I'm just going to say " Thanks for the comment".
Thanks for the comment!
The speed on this bow is no where near 350. Way lower.
Thanks for the comment!
What did it chrono for u?
Didn't chrono it
Bow tech are going to change the mod on the new speed bow because the speeds it's producing are a lot slower than the suggested IBO, I'm a bowtech fan but don't release the bow if it's not ready, very poor from on their behalf.
They will end up getting done for false advertising.
Thanks for the comment
Tony..seems most manufacturers have always been off the mark with their out of the box numbers. IMO if someone does a review of today's bows one would think they'd at least shoot a proper weighted arrow with suggested DL and put it through a chrono to give the consumer a baseline to judge from. At the very least put the bow on a draw scale to check actual DW. To me, these 2022 reviews of "flagship" bows have been nothing to make me go out and trade up. Disclaimer...not all bow scales and chronos are calibrated to IBO specs but surely all can't be off 10-15fps or +/- 2lbs. I gotta accept what my or my pro shops chrono and draw scale tells me.
another person who watches 1 video of someone get slow speeds on a chromo not realizing IBO speeds are with the lightest possible arrows a manufacturer can find
@@nathan22outdoors8 Wrong. Lighter arrows can be found. It’s 5gpp.
@@LetThemGrow just because shooting under 5gpp voids a warranty doesn't mean that's what they test with. Seeing as every single bow on the market is on average 15fps slower with 350grains than IBO, obviously shows they are testing with a different arrow.
All these guys talking about Slowtech.... My RPM is still faster / flatter shooting & better holding than most bows today & I'm always looking for an excuse to buy new gear.. Just remove the gawd awful grip/make your own with bondo and wrap it with hockey tape - Golden..... No telephone pole stabilizers needed. Haha
Personally I like the grip 🤷♂️
80lbs limb but it's only 340fps. Lol
Thanks for watching!
IBO speed is mesured with 70ln limbs for all bows I belive. This means with 80lb you should have some extra FPS.
Did you factor in arrow weight?
With a 400 grain arrow. Also, its 6.5 bh its not necessarily meant to be a speed bow. I would say its what most bowhunters consider a very shootable or forgiving bow with its 6.5" brace and 33" ata with extra oomph
