This is exactly the tone and theme I'd want from a moon knight movie, my only issue is the costume. I would've preferred it being all white like the original sienkiewicz design or even the Mr knight look by ellis. All in all amazing tho, hope marvel amd feige take notes from the amount of detail and care put into this film
I kind of like the costume designs in fan films, because just think about it if you just got superpowers is one of those powers going to make you a master tailor? Probably not you'll probably make yourself a costume out of whatever you can, maybe you could look up tutorials or something but chances are it won't be the best, kind of like how Spiderman in a lot of versions starts out with just a red Skii mask or something, or how in the Netflix series Daredevil just wears black clothes. Just makes it feel more grounded which in turn makes the fan films more believable, at least in my opinion.
My sentiments exactly. The original costume looks amazing on the printed page, but it would be very hard to bring an outfit like that to the screen in a way that didn't look silly. The Mr. Knight outfit however would be far easier and visually fantastic. It would also have the added bonus of not inhibiting the actor's mobility. Not to mention how it would really bring home the point about liking the way the blood looks splashed across it.

Moon Knight has probably been my favorite superhero for the better part of 40 years. I thought you tackled his multiple personalities very well. It felt like a spot-on representation of the character. And the internal dialogue-not only a great narrative device, but also felt like things the character would be thinking. Bushman? Loved it. Somebody build a Netflix series out of this rivalry. My ONLY grip is the costume. Like I said, I’ve been a fan since probably 1981 or 1982, and I’m a big fan of the costume(s) he’s worn over his career. As such, this really didn’t work for me. I’m sorry. It just doesn’t. The mask was too big, and made him look more like a B-movie “Predator”, and I really didn’t think the black trenchcoat matched his persona. That’s just my personal gripes about the whole thing-and they’re minor. But, again, I think you did an outstanding job of capturing the essence of the character (from personality right down to the fighting style), and the tone of so many of his stories. Great work overall!
Nailed all my thoughts almost exactly. I remember the first moon knight I read in the early 80’s and thinking, “Is he a good guy or a bad guy? I think this guy is insane.” It’s hard to make such a drastic costume change from white to black like that but fortune favors the bold as they say. I respect taking the chance on the costume color change but I would have dropped it like a bag of hammers as soon as I saw it myself. Exceptional job otherwise! It allows the viewer to pay 100% attention to what is being said when there's dialogue in the fights, vs the mental conversation that illustrates the character's frame of mind and thoughts as he gathers information. Also, the multiple personalities was also a very nice graphic, as it shows you all his personalities side by side for comparison and allowing one to clearly see the differences between each of them in a scene that was perfectly timed, both in length and coloring. :)
All the other elements were also very well placed - setting, characterization, motivation (not too much, not too little), theme and plot - all just enough to make the short interesting, but not give away anything critical. The "baddies" are sufficiently evil so that you don't feel bad for their suffering their fate, but you also understand the place where the "good guy" is coming from, so the damage being dealt doesn't seem over the top, absurd or contrived like in some other shorts online. If a full-length film or series can be made in the same style, I can easily see it being well received. :)
The only place where you could have possibly have improved this short in any way would have been if you show that guy with his cigarette, then having those "LED" eyes light up in the darkness behind them before being pulled into the darkness.
A great short film. I gotta say, the main actor played the persona of moon knight perfectly. Also, during the fight scene when the crook pulls the crowbar out of the other dead crooks head was fantastic. The way the head moves up with the bar as he pulls it out... just amazing.
I can't believe it. thje story and monologues are exactly what moon knight would be like, the multiple personalities trying to take over mark specter and he actually knows that he has a problem. Brilliantly done.

Marvel better hire you for the upcoming series. You should reach out to them, send em this. It's also violent and dark without being gory, which could work for a Disney + show. The writing and atmosphere it's all just incredible.
Awesome job, guys! I love Moon Knight and this movie captures him perfectly. The mid-credits scene was great, too. Introducing Bushman at the end like that leaves you wanting more, just like the MCU movies do with their mid or post-credit scenes. The music was perfect and really gave it like a horror tone and the voiceover captured that grittiness that's a part of the Moon Knight comic itself. I just loved it and I can't wait to see a sequel.
"So dark... are you sure you're not from the DC universe?" This film is amazing. It's very well choreographed, amazing acting and camera work, great action, and good characters! Edit: I completely forgot to mention the awesome costumes!
Really like how you guys portrayed the split personality of the character. The fight choreography seemed a bit repetitive, but this is definitely one of the better fan projects, such as reverse flash origins

Very well made! Hands down the best Moon Knight fan film there is on UA-cam. It would have been nice to have the classic costume but honestly I thought the costume in this film fitted right with the dark tone so I don't mind. I once thought we were very few people that were fans of this character that many sadly see as another Batman, but I can see we are a lot more who show passion for the Lunar Legionaire and sooner or later Marvel will hear our voices and our vigilante will appear on the big screen. Great work to you and your team!

Utterly phenomenal work! I was pleasantly surprised with how good everything in this was. The acting felt very real, the dialogue was good enough to rival Netflix originals, fighting was great, editing felt smooth, and the tone was superb for the character. Not a huge fan of the overall costume and the way it limits the actor/stunt guy's movement, but that mask is top shelf. The crescent blades, which I'm not familiar with from the comics, are a very smart blend of the crescent darts and his old school cestus gloves. If that was your idea, it was a good one. I don't think it will be too much longer before Marvel gives us a big budget MK in some form (probably not the muderrific incarnation from this film, but that's OK) thanks to fan projects like this driving interest. Thanks for your hard work.
@@Mr_Sarcasum That's cool, didn't see that. Double kudos to the filmmakers. I think any screen version of the character would be wise to hold on to the supernatural aspect of the character, or at least, the possibility thereof, so the lunar related powers and communing with Khonshu, whether real or part of Spector's psychosis, are left in.
It will be difficult for Marvel Studios to pull off a Moon Knight anything. That's the main thing small, fan-made productions like this have the liberty of with this character. There's a list of reasons, but the main one comes to a single issue: MK's mental state. To properly translate the Moon Knight in a way authentic to the character, this *must* be addressed, however it is a touchy subject to display out there. Even Snyder toned down Rorschach, if only a bit. You could go with the family revenge motive to steer away from the insanity a bit, but then that just makes him seem like another Punisher. Likely this character's mental instability, and then have him kill several people will make it automatically never get a movie directly from the studio (especially with how touchy people are today). There is a possibility that Netflix could pick it up and keep it in line with their other dark Marvel products, but they'd have to do a lot to differentiate it from the Punisher in the view of people who don't read the comics. (To them, to quote a friend of mine who I explained the premise of MK to once, he is a "not rich batman that dresses in white, but goes around killing like the punisher.")
This was great. I can tell alot of thought was put into the cinematography and editing. One of the best fan films I've ever seen. Y'all need to take this on the festival circuit.

A great short film. I gotta say, the main actor played the persona of moon knight perfectly. Also, during the fight scene when the crook pulls the crowbar out of the other dead crooks head was fantastic. The way the head moves up with the bar as he pulls it out... just amazing.
I’m glad you enjoyed that Lusk, you sick fuck.
@@Mr_Sarcasum 😉😉
I can't believe it. thje story and monologues are exactly what moon knight would be like, the multiple personalities trying to take over mark specter and he actually knows that he has a problem. Brilliantly done.
I want THIS for a Netflix series. With this cast. The mask looks awesome!
"at this point it's not even vengeance, I'm just fuckin mad"
Literally sums up Moon Knight
That ending credit scene was great along with that subtle Khonshu reveal.
I love the credits where Khosnhu was starring as himself. That was such a cute detail. Loved it.
Moon Knight is my favorite character thank you for making this. Everyday I wish they would make a Moon Knight movie. But this film is worthy to be a movie. Thank you for making this. 🌙 🌉
The sound effects, the moves that are fluid yet not too much. This is amazing!
Hope marvel decides to let you direct Moon Knight. It's is so pleasing to watch this.
Hell Yah, now thats Moon Knight!! Well done friend!!
Thank you so much!
Marvel better hire you for the upcoming series. You should reach out to them, send em this. It's also violent and dark without being gory, which could work for a Disney + show. The writing and atmosphere it's all just incredible.
Nova StudiosThank you so much!
Why am i only seeing this now? i'm sure you'd agree it deserves much MUCH more love!
Galaxy Lexar Thanks, man!
Really digged the mask, but not enough white in the overall suit
Moonknight has a black and white suit so it's not far off
Bad ass man...u got ur 1000th subscriber right here
YESSS. I will remember you always
"So dark... are you sure you're not from the DC universe?"
This film is amazing.
Pulling the crow bar out of the guys head was straight brutal....llllyyy AWESOME! Great work guys!
HUGE moon knight fan. This was great. I’ve been waiting for a TV or a damn movie. People just don’t get how much potential moon knight has.
I always thought there was potential for a great Moon Knight movie. Thank you for proving me right. Your movie would be a great pitch/proof-of-concept. Contrary to a lot of detractors, Moon Knight is not just a BatMan clone.
Well done!
In fact, this was better than the last 3 or 4 actual Marvel movies I've seen.
Thank you so much!
This Feels Like A Feature Movie In Cinemas
Plus Like The Design Makes Him More Stealthy In The Night
Thank you for doing this great job, its awesome
I want more moon knight fan films in the future
This is so amazing! Honestly, it's great fan made stuff like this that might finally get Moon Knight the push he needs for a big screen debut. Great work by yourself and your team! Keep it up!
Much appreciated!!!
So good. The proper amount of time was taken on all aspects of this project and nothing was done half assed. The little things like sound and visual FX were top notch. Moon Knight gets zero love and it's great to see that fans are out there.
This is bloody on the same order as Punisher. I'd like to see more of this.
I hope Disney+ asks you to join the Moon Knight series team, man. All the best.
Guys, that was freaking awesome. Seriously well done.
Beautifully done. Moon Knight is the best underrated superhero in Marvel.
Just remembered this project again now that there's a real series. It's so crazy that parts of the universe thought so obscure the only way they could make their way onscreen were through fan projects are getting full budget productions now. Your vision of the violence was always perfect, though
I've told Caden many times it was his vision that brought MK to Disney+. No doubt. He should have gotten an official shout out.
Get these people to work behind the scenes of the Moon Knight show coming out.
Wow! This was simply incredible! The camera work was perfect, the cast was awesome, and you had a good story for a short fan film. The score was awesome too! I’d love to see this become a full blown series or even just a sequel with bushman vs mk would be awesome! Seriously great work! Also I actually really liked the costume
Thank you so much, man! As I can see from your profile, you must be a die-hard Moon Knight fan yourself so coming from you means a lot!!!
Thanks for the good review!
Omg, this deserves to be seen by more people. Honestly this is one of the best fan movies I've ever seen, the quality, camera work and sorytelling are just incredible. I'm speechless!
Damn that is quite the compliment! Thank you so much, man!

I'd love to see a sequel to this!!! Maybe a more comic accurate Moon Knight costume with more white in it would be cool to see!
This was better than all the netflix shows by a mile. Good job man
One of the most criminally underrated superheroes of all time period. You have done real hell of a job in bringing him to life , this is exactly how spector should be. I love moon knight to death and this is the best if not the greatest adaptation of my fav superhero i've even seen , now i want it even more. Amazing work guys u have made my day keep it up :-)
Thank you so much, dude!
Excellent. Moon Knight is a much different character then most Marvel heroes. Great to see you nailed his essence.
Has a good Watchman vibe, loved it
Thank you very much! That was something we were going for!
You sir, have a good eye.
Thank you lol also great work on the audio
Thank you very much! Got my brother to write the original score so that's always cool, haha@@breaux2806
very very respectable portrayal of one of my favorite comic book characters ever. would totally pay to see this turned full length feature.
John Rogers Thank you very much!
saw this in my recommended,,, wasn't disappointed
Love the overall vibe and dialouge chosen here. It looks like you actually did some research on the basics of Moon Knight and to that I praise you since hes one of my favorite characters. The costume could be better but it didnt bother me too much. Loved the mask. Overall great fan film :)
Really appreciate this feedback, thank you so much!
This was really solid. It's really awesome to see that you can make a superhero movie without an insane marvel movie budget!
Guy who gets his brains blown out: SNACK
Thank you for taking the time to share your appreciation and love for this character. I’m glad to finally see him get some attention. It makes me more hopeful for a Marvel Cinematic Universe debut or something similar to their Netflix(now canceled) shows. I would love to see a continuation of this, and would also love to see an all white suit, or mostly white.
This is the best fan-made film I have ever seen! Part 2 please!
Damn marvel take notes this is what we want and need. This was amazingly done and would love to see the guy keep playing the part he was great. I think marvel may have found another great screenwriter. Someone get this man a....check.
Thanks Shake n' Bake, I really appreciate that!
Thanks, man!
Utterly phenomenal work! I was pleasantly surprised with how good everything in this was. The acting felt very real, the dialogue was good enough to rival Netflix originals, fighting was great, editing felt smooth, and the tone was superb for the character. I felt parts of the costume could use a little work (mainly just getting more traditional white in it), but it was still great. I am greatly looking forward to seeing more from all of you guys.
Wow, thank you so much!!!!
@@CadenButera No problem, I'm just being honest. I'll definitely be sharing this with some of my friends.

let me know if you need some props or weapons and such. I did some starfire orbs that worked well for a cosplayer.

Honestly I've never been a big fan of comic book fan films but this was absolutely incredible. Amazingly shot, acted, and written. I can see the care put into this in every tiny detail. Also was that Frank Whaley I saw in the office at the beginning?
No it is not him. But trust me we’ve been joking about their similarities ever since we started working with Kenny Powell.
Mr Sarcasum haha that's a shame, but still really cool!
Wow, you kept the idea of the character and the storyline. I hope this goes beyond into a full length film.
Thank you for the feedback! And yes those crescent blades were our own design :)
Thank you for the support!
Thanks!
Actually it’s barely visible on 12:07, but engraved on the blades it says “Fist of Khonshu.”
In the comics Marc is a cia agent, Steven is a millionaire, and Jake is a taxi driver.
This was great. I can tell alot of thought was put into the cinematography and editing. One of the best fan films I've ever seen. Y'all need to take this on the festival circuit.
This is what Moon Knight should’ve been.
8:50-9:50 seems like something out of Daredevil Season 3! That was honestly really creative and well shot!
Hah, that was the inspiration for it! Good catch!
Wow this is absolutely amazing. So high quality, so amazingly done, you did Moon Knight the Justice he deserves. The acting, the production design, the fights and the music were great. And that costume is FREAKING EPIC!
Damn, thank you so much!
No thank you for such an amazing fan film
Okay. I've seen quite a few fan films, in my time that I would put this in the top tier, in terms of overall quality. Especially, we're fan films are concerned.
This is dope! I legit hope that this film made it across the mcu's path, and you end up involved with the show they're currently working on, with Oscar Isaac!
Keep up the awesome work!
✊🏾💯❤️🖖🏾
Thanks!
People will now come and see how a fan made movie started a journey of an obscure character and now it will join the MCU... Thanks man 🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks, my guy! 😃
wow, I don't know what I expected but it wasn't this, I am madly impressed.
Thanks so much!
Honestly, as a massive fan of the character, this movie hit all the right marks.
I got goosebumps when bushman showed up!
Holy crap! This is pretty effin awesome!
Damn!! This was Gritty as hell! Loved it!!!!!
This was amazing, exactly what Moon Knight deserves. The costume could be more true to the original, but I loved it! Perfectly dark as it should be. The crescent blades were awesome!
WELL DONE! Coolest Moon Knight FAN MADE FILM I EVER SEEN! AS A FILM STUDENT I HOPE THIS ONE DAY MAKES IT INTO THE BIG SCREEN.
THANK YOU SO MUCH
When “fan film” is not synonymous with “amateur film” because this has professional quality.
Maybe one day MCU will get to Moon Knight, since Netflix seems unlikely to, but this came 1st. Well done.
Thank you so much!
Awesome, and great job. Wonderful work you've done and put into this. So Glad I got to see this. My day was shit and you completely turned it around. I hope you get the Chance to make more. So happy I got to see a Great Live Action Moon Knight. Even if Marvel doesn't make one, this is some Justice and hope it continues. Cheers!
Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate this
Wow. Congrats. You did mah boi Moon Knights justice. But you forgot one key feature: His white hood. That's the most iconic part of his character. Speaking of the hood, what's up with that Red Hood helm?
Came back for another watch...I forgot how brutal the fight scene was! So damn good!
That was really good, didn't expected anything that much impressive, great job!
