It's cool to see others have good memories with their dads while Manning is on their team. My dad and I are Denver fans, and during his time with them we would watch pretty much every game. I remember watching Denver set a field-goal record (I think it was 63 yards) and my dad was like "you're watching history right now". Always stuck with me. My dad and I both have Manning jerseys, and we used to wear them together while we watched the Broncos play, though unfortunately mine doesn't fit me anymore. Really good memories... Hell, even Wilson is giving me good memories. When Denver went against Kansas City the first time this year, we expected a blowout. The game wasn't on so I was watching some show with my brother while my dad watched a podcast covering the game. It was bad at first; it was like 20-0 KC, but then suddenly each update my dad gave was more and more positive and he seemed excited to tell me and my brother each time they scored a touchdown. I think that'll stick with me too, and even if Wilson isn't doing too hot right now, it's still nice to have a good memory associated with this hell of a season.

he made contact on the way down, so by the rule it's leaping, though it's a dumb rule since he didn't gain an advantage, it's not the idea of the rule since he didn't use another player to catapult himself, but he did brush against another player coming down, so .. I guess it's the right call, but I would think they could call it that way on basically every field goal attempt.

I watched this game live. I remember starting my homework after the game got out of hand then becoming glued to the action in the last 4 minutes and found myself cheering for the Colts. This game made me a Manning fan. The years that followed with painful playoff blowouts with the Broncos vs. Colts made me appreciate Manning's skill. Little did I know at the time Manning would be the QB for my Broncos next Super Bowl victory.
I wouldn't trade the Broncos fan arch over the last 25 years with any other team in pro sports. 4 Super Bowls, 3 victories, Elway, Plummer, -Cutler- , Tebow, Manning. The 2010 Tebow year was the most fun I've ever had watching football. Tebow had an immeasurable impact on the game and it was his success that led to Manning choosing the Broncos in 2011. Now, with Russell Wilson (Jake Plummer 2.0) Broncos fans have a new hope.

I loved Marvin Harrison as a receiver too. 2nd greatest to Jerry Rice of all-time in my book, but you don't have to trash the extroverts just to pump Marvin up. I love the no shit talking part too, but there's nothing wrong w/ dancing in the end zone to enjoy success if you're an expressive personality, especially if you've got rhythm. As long as there's nothing obscene. The game's more fun, and life's more fun w/ a full spectrum of personalities, rather than a homogeneous mixture. And everybody's different in all walks of life. Some have to get excited to feel free, enjoy what they do, acquire confidence, and be at their best, while others like to keep the emotions to themselves, harvested, channel their strengths, are perfectionists, but being one instead of the other doesn't make you right or wrong. Michael Irvin had a ton of on-field success being a supreme extrovert, Isaac Bruce was somewhere in-between. Bruce loved to participate in group celebrations like the bob-&-weave, but nothing individual. Irvin did a whole-lot of both. Jerry Rice was kind of medium in that regard like Bruce. For Harrison, being reserved was to his liking, and worked best for him, but variety is a good thing. People preach acceptance and tolerance all the time when it comes to race, sexuality, religion, gender, politics, stature, body type, but how about unique personalities?

Even though this is a known fact. I don't think this specific game is an example of more proof. Especially considering all of the eventual Hall of Famers on the colts roster. If there was an IQ test for the NFL and football as a whole, Peyton Manning can be argued as having an Albert Einstein/Stephen Hawking level intelligence. Furthermore, there was at least 1 incorrect call from the officiating crew on the 2nd to last play of the game that setup the game winning field goal. The unsportsmanlike conduct call against Simeon Rice was clearly a bad call. Tony Dungy is one of the great minds of football and will be a hall of fame coach, but let's not be too partisan to not give Jon Gruden his deserved credit for at least being a decent NFL coach.

I was 11 years old when this game aired. I remember staying up to watch all by myself in the living room and going to bed before it ended because we were losing so bad. I was so mad when I woke up the next morning and saw that we had won and I didn't get to see. What an insane comeback.

What about Brees? 5 seasons of 5000+ yards? (And the 4952 he threw in 2014 may as well be called a 5th 5000 yard season; no other QB has even done that twice in their career! Brees is 1st in Career Passing Yards, and Career Pass Completions, and 2nd in Career Passing TDs? (And I'm not even a Saints or Chargers fan, but a lowly Washington Football Team fan lol)

@@matthewskillo8577 Yeah, I agree. Brees, Marino, Young, Y.A. Tittle and a few others all seem to go forgotten into football oblivion. Every once in a while I hear of Johnny Unitas. All these guys are legendary. I was a Redskins fan many years ago. I've just grown really tired of Washington's owner, Dan Synder. I was livid when he told Mike Shanahan to take a hike. Mike worked with Reggie Griffin 3, a now known impossible quarterback and made him great for a year. Dan is such a moron he can't even give a name to his own football team. He may be a really smart businessman but he has no business owning a professional football team.

+Chris L Very competitive. The toughest division in the NFC. With the exception of the Bucs, someone from that division has hosted the SB at least once in the last 8 years. Sure my prediction is opinionated, but it's not far fetched. They have a legitimate shot of winning that division. Them actually doing it remains to be seen.

I'm older and remember the REAL Colts. Unitas, Berry and Moore! Indianapolis has the Super Bowl III trophy, which of course was the BALTIMORE Colts at that time. Probably thinks the Colt Championship of '58,'59 and '68 are theirs too! The REAL story. BALTIMORE has SIX Championships. FOUR with the Colts and two with the Raven's. Indianapolis had Peyton Manning. We had John Unitas! Indianapolis has NO NFL legacy. ONE championship in 38 years? Baltimore WILL win at least one more Championship before Indianapolis does. Raven's have been in the league since '96 and have won 2 Super Bowls. Indianapolis has been in the league since '84, and have one. Baltimore has been in 4 Super Bowls, winning 3 and have won 3 NFL Championships.
