The OG really was a pretty bad ass show for me and all my 9 yr old friends. And always gave us great new ideas on how to break parts of ourselves we didn’t even know we had.
The way the ref was cradling and comforting poor Dwayne really captured the essence of early 90’s TV. I like to think they went out for rootbeer floats afterwards, and Dwayne does the straw wrapper blow gun trick and nails the ref in the eye...And it freezes right on the ref making a goofy face, covering his eye, theme music plays and credits roll. And that’s how the first ep of “Dwayne & The Ref” ends.
Ya know that feeling when you have forgotten that something ever existed?... and then you hear a sound or see something that transports you back in time to a very specific time?... and then suddenly you're caught in a spiral of childhood memories that don't make any sense whatsoever but you feel strangely nostalgic for a bunch of random moments in time? Yeah, that's what this video did to me. :)
1. Two of the American Gladiators appeared in the second Mortal Kombat movie. 2. American Gladiators had a crossover with a sitcom called Family Matters.
Great job with your weightloss journey🙌🏽🙌🏽!!!! This year I currently hit the biggest weight of my life , & I understand exactly what you mean about not feeling as well. Did you get to see one of the gladiator ladies on Russell Howard's Good News? It was like, 10 years ago, but that old show is all up on UA-cam. I loved watching Gladiators in the late 80s and 90s. It aired on like Saturday mornings or afternoons, at least here in Milwaukee. I got to see them live when they did a US tour in 91 or 92. It was almost more impressive in person than on tv.
