FZ6R Oem exhaust mod

2016 FZ6R stock header stock canister. The old crappy looking stock tip we cut off and welded a 3.5 tip to the canister. If you don’t have any experience welding and plasma cutting I don’t recommend you try at home. I had to drop the entire exhaust system which is not that hard to be able to weld properly without burning the bike down. Sounds really deep and has a nice overall tone. The bike stock as you know is incredibly quiet this definitely makes it have a good presence.

Sounds really good. How big of a hole did you drill into the muffler? looking to do the same to mine

alex l, We removed the divider between the stock tip and the “cat” so the metal between the little 1” piece and the can was removed then we put a 2-3/4” exhaust tip from auto zone. If you’re going to attempt I strongly suggest removing the exhaust system completely.
