Enjoying your videos. We are looking at staying there. Did you have any issue getting your luggage up and down the entrance stairs? Do they have someone to help?
We did not see anyone that would be able to help with luggage. The entrance steps were not terrible but could be a challenge for some. As I recall there were two short sets of stairs to the lobby.
I'm a Brit and have stayed in many Premier Inns (will be in one one NYE at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard) and I, too, dislike the fact the water sprays out of the shower cubicle. Regarding a landline phone, many of us don't even have one of those at home any more as we just use our mobile phones, and I suppose Premier Inns don't really need them as they don't offer room service. Your 'Premier Plus' room looks very nice; I've booked one of these for NYE as they do have slightly nicer furnishings.

We actually enjoyed our stay at Premier Inn and will stay with them again.
Most of the missing features in the room are standard for Premier Inn, which is a basic hotel chain.
I understand that, but the lack of a telephone still seems odd. In any case it was a perfectly acceptable Hotel.
