I’m so happy to hear the Dr’s all gave the approval for Gina to go home much sooner than expected. That is a clear indication of her doing really well. Please keep it up so as to not hurt yourself, Gina.
I just knew Gina was going to be a rockstar and she didn’t disappoint. So glad to see and hear she’s doing so well! Those robotic surgeries are so amazing….while the surgery is still invasive, it’s not anywhere as invasive as open surgery would be. This makes healing and pain control so much easier. I just know she’s going to be back to 100% in no time. Praise God it all went so well!
I don't know why I just cried a little looking at Gina. You had to endure so much with your endometriosis and cysts, I know how excruciating periods are and you suffered for so long, and even though the urinary situation was bad it saved you in a way, had you found much later that the colon was getting affected imagine what toll it would have taken on an older body and how many years of debilitating pain you would still go through, i know now this surgery was meant to happen at this moment in ginas life and each day is only going to get better and make you stronger. Lots and lots of love to you Gina. You made it.

Don't worry about the mud. My husband has been doing construction for 37 years and still comes home wearing mud on mudding days.

I finally bought some cheapo plastic disposable ponchos. I tried food service plastic aprons but ponchos work better. Especially since I tuck the mud pan under my arm sometimes.

My grandmother had a sun room attached to her childhood home. Full of windows and light, she started all her garden plants and flowers there. Put a bucket of the plate compactors engine to keep the water out. GET WELL SOON GINIA!

Gina: Great to see you are doing so well! Take it very easy, so all those suture lines have a chance to heal. That's going to take a couple of weeks at least. No jumping around, and no lifting. Keep your bladder mostly empty so the ureter attachment can heal up. I've assisted on hundreds of those when I worked in research, and I think an empty bladder is a very good idea for a few weeks.

You are one of those immature people that think your god does only good and the bad is not gods fault. Go to a children's cancer ward in a hospital. See the suffering children, see the pure anguish and desperation in the parents faces. Since you believe your god made the hands and feet, certainly your god has the power to end that suffering. But your god does not... There is no such thing as god. Stop acting like a child.

It always feels better to be home after surgery. When your in the hospital, they come in seems like every hour to take blood, do a blood pressure, and I am a light sleeper so I never get any rest if I stay. Glad they let you out where you'll get plenty of rest, love and be waited on.😘
So pleased for you all. Take it easy and just enjoy each other, you have all been under the most enormous amount of stress and pressure. So beautiful to see you home.

Al, you were putting that mud up pretty fast, even w/o speed-vision. I also liked your boiler explanation. It told me that you only have to feed it, unless it goes out from a long absence on your part. It is wonderful to see Gina. She looks as if she’s had a serious operation, but she also looks quite on the mend. I’m very happy that you’ve got your girl back home and can’t imagine how happy Olivia must be to have mom back home. Heal up fast Gina! And let the move-in begin! Thanks for sharing guys. 😊

So grateful to hear Gina is home. Give both( Al there may be times you may need to help)of yourselves abundant grace and patience when dealing with the colostomy pouches as “accidents” can happen. I’m praying that Gina returns to health and strength without complications and her eventual revision surgery is also successful.

So glad Gina is home! Now she can rest and heal until she's back 100%. It will take time but she's young and healthy. She will find that chewing her did slowly will also make her feel fuller. Let her know she's in my prayers for a complete recovery.

Gina gets her abdomen remodeled and is home in 4 days, I have my first upper respiratory virus of the season and am on day 6 of sofa to bed... All that gentleness Gina exhibits must be in every cell in her body. I am wishing a very good woman a very comfortable recovery. 💞

Yipee! it all looks good. I had a bit of a medical issue 2 years ago and I walked out of the hospital 4 times without being discharged until the Doctor told me, "SIR, we cannot help you unless you stop running away!" and I said " Doc, you got until the end of the day, OK!"
