Ukeg GO: www.growlerwerks.com/pages/uk... - Розваги
Trying my Ukeg today, and you guys made me a bit more optimistic! Southern Indiana appreciates the video!
Wow, aside from the review, just want to say how impressed with the weight loss between now and Feb 2021 you both have made. Looking much much leaner in current reviews!
Stella glass with the gold trim, love it
These are the best growler reviews on the entire entire internet! Fantastic job fellas! #RADARRULES
Yeah, I’m sold on this one, boys. The fancy one ain’t my style but the travel growler is the one for me. After the holidays I’m gettin mine.
A good review, I'm glad that I watched it.
so is there anything better in the 64 ounce size that is durable enough to take down to the beach?
Hello guys, thanks for the vid. Do you think I could force carbonate my home brew with that? Thanks
Great Review fellas
can you make a tutorial on how your wife makes nitro coffe on this item just bout it and after many reviews of diffrent growler I choose it because your review thanks
This or fizzics draftpour?
They need the CraftMaster Regulator Cap (pressure release, guage, and fully capable pressure adjustment).
Lets see what dem Kentucky Growler Boyz are up to this time.....
Looks like a step up from the standard glass/metal growler. A 64oz one of these would keep carbonation longer than the traditional ones, right? Just wondering since I've gotten beer from local breweries but have to drink it within a few days.
Any of the pressurized growlers will keep beer for 1-2 weeks as opposed to 3 days
Great review guys, I think I’m going to purchase the 128oz GO but I have a couple questions for you since this will be my first growler ever purchased. How long does beer usually last in there and do you leave the growler refrigerated? Also, how long does one Co2 cartridge last?
1 cartridge per fill usually. As far as refrigeration, I would keep it cold until you are ready to drink. The growler is well insulated and will stay cold for at least 12 hours outside the fridge. As far as how long the beer will last, it depends on the style, most standard lagers, IPAs and pale ales may last 1.5-2 weeks(keep in mind draft beer isn't pasteurized like bottles and cans) and stouts or darker beers can last 2-4 weeks maybe a bit longer.
I’m debating between getting this one or the regular ukeg for my husband to tote around and share his homebrew. I love the copper/stainless of the regular but it seems like the Go is more durable. For someone very familiar with kegs and fittings and what not, who will just be using it in the kitchen, will the regular be ok?
I will say that you do still have to travel with the regular ukeg to fill it up. I've personally had issues with leaking around the goose neck multiple times, but according to my correspondence with growler works that has supposedly been fixed in the newer models.
You should get a bottle of monkey shoulder scotch. I picked one up at liquor barn for about 35 i think.
Im thinking about buying either a Growlerwerk ukeg 128 oz for 160$ or a GrowlerWerk Ukeg GO 128 oz with a 20 pack of the ukeg 16 oz C02 canisters for 130$. Both options are from costco. I will mainly be using to fill Konig pilsner Draft from bars. Which do you recomend I get? Do you think the GO will hold the PSI right for Konig Pilsner?
Psi won't be an issue with either, I would go with the ukeg go, it's just a more durable and better design overall.
@KYBrewReview Great review guys. Can I use the crosman CO2 cartridges, or would you advise against them?
I would advise against them, as they are not food grade. Just order some off amazon.
@@kybrewreview I have some of the crosman CO2 here is why I was wondering, but ill take your advice and spend the few extra bucks. Thanks guys.
Awesome :)
Can you get more than one fill per CO2 cartridge?
The way the valve is made it's one cartridge per fill unfortunately.
Can this carbonate non pre-carbonated drink such as coffee, tea, fruit juice???
It will probably carbonate it a bit, but not as well as one other units on the market that offer higher pressure.
Any recommendations for 16g co2 cannisters that work with the 128oz. The manufactures ones aren't cheap.
Check Amazon, that's where we get ours, they are normally a few bucks cheaper. Make sure they are food grade!
@@kybrewreview haven't found any one there that reviews say they fit this model. Most say don't fit the sleeve. Not trying g to be cheap but 2 plus dollars for a 1 use co2 seems steep and I like to drink haha
I didn't think that 2 bucks was that bad considering it makes your growler last a week vs 2 days. TBH we have an 5 gallon bucket filled to the brim with various co2 carts, when we first started reviewing growlers, just about every growler company sent us stuff. I'm also not a huge fan of the way the CO2 goes inside the beer in their products, there are many other pressure growlers that allow you to get more than 1 use out of a tank.
They got that same growler in one gallon have you guys did a review on that yet?
We did their original 1 gallon one, but not this one, it's Identical with the exception of the size.
just bought the $99 64oz ukeg growler, looking forward to using it. Great review!!
Anything that I should watch for when using this growler?
Get some growler tabs to clean it.
@@kybrewreview I did purchase the tabs today as well, thanks
@@kybrewreview another question, I think you mentioned in the video about nitro brewing but I wasn’t quite sure. Does this growler make nitro brew coffee then?
I believe this unit just does co2, but I could be wrong I do know they sell nitro kits
They do make a 128 but damn that craft beer gets expensive!
Hey guys are you going to review the the new 128oz Ukeg go?
Probably not just because it's the same as this one just bigger.
I hear this goes through CO2 bottles fast. Is not having a gauge and issue?
Not really, no different than any of the others on the market, we have reviewed all of them.
@@kybrewreview Thanks for replying, many YT out there do not reply. Great vids you have.
You guys should try Sip Shine. Moonshine in a can. They are 200ml cans with 20% alcohol. 40 proof. Kind of pricey but I’d say worth it!
Haven't ever seen them.
I will see if they can send us some because we legally can't order alcohol online in Ky
KyBrewReview sounds good! Hopefully it works out. Would like to see what you guys think too!!
The guy on the right, all I keep thinking about is he reminds me of the heavy set guy fun the Beetlejuice movie lol
Would you go 128 or 64 oz ?
128 all day, especially if you share it.
One of my friends is taking a road trip to the Louisville area and asked if I want anything. What can you only get in KY that you can’t get anywhere else?
Doesn’t necessarily have to be booze but I’m curious what y’all would suggest
Ale 81 its soda, and counrty boy beers!
KyBrewReview thanks! Can you find it in most grocery stores?
Yup most krogers
I bought one of these and whatever i put inside of it ends up coming out even less carbonated, not sure why.
Probably have the carbonation set wrong.
so after I pour the beer into the ukeg, should I turn on the CO2 gas and keep it on the whole time?
Or the co2 gas should be only turned just for serving?
The reason I ask is because the 8 grams co2 tank doesn't last long? after 2-3 servings, the gas is out.
Any tips on this?
also, when I am serving the beer it comes out too foamy.
what could be the issue here, the co2 setting or the beer?
I tested it with michelob ultra and set it to the first setting.
If you are going through co2 that fast and is coming out foamy, you have your co2 turned on too high. Your co2 should be off until the cap is secured.
If you guys know what "knurling" is then I'm pretty sure you work in a machine shop like I used to...lol. Hmmm. Good educational vid.
I never worked in a machine shop, but I got to spend a lot of time in one when I was little. Not allowed to work, but watching was still fun. That's where I learned all my bad words.
These are exactly the kind of looking guys I would expect for such a video 😂
What size are each of those growlers?
They come in 64oz or 128oz
@@kybrewreview Let me rephrase - what are the dimensions?
For the money, which is better, this one (looks heavy duty and dbl insulated), or the Growlveller (hard to beat at $49, and you get a gauge and relief valve!)?
Jack Daniels single barrel. All
#RADARRULES
I am also pro hoes
