I'm planning on spending some time there here in a few weeks. There is a cheap hostel in the south part of town. Very reasonably priced.

I agree my perfect camp site has a lake or river. Some sort of water etc. but you can't always get that. Take Care

What I love most about these videos is that they are relaxed and show the more commonplace aspects of long term adventure motorcycle camping, overcoming various challenges, et cetera, interspersed with gorgeous scenery but without hyperbole and self promotion. The natural beauty speaks for itself. We get practical advice and information, mixed with motorvational eye candy. We get Why We Should Go and How We Can Do It.

Want a digital product to sell? How about a guide to Moto Giant approved dispersed camping areas. Not GPS coordinates to specific campsites, although you could do some of that if you liked, but instead, GPS coordinates for general areas where there are good camping opportunities and some brief comments to let us know what to expect, issues that might arise, good times to visit or avoid the area, etc. Another option might be curating the same information as crowd sourced data... essentially an online user contributed database. There are similar efforts at places like Free Campsites, but I think it'd be great to have a list that's specific to dispersed motorcycle camping. Again, not so much a list of specific campsites but suggestions for areas to visit, best time of year to visit, where to get water....
dude I really love your thoughtful responses, and all your ideas. I'm going to try to find some way to share my spots with my supporters, I just don't know how to do it. I think that there is real value to be able to go back to that hidden spot that I've got on the cliff above dinosaur national monument, and about 40 other places that people have fallen in love with over the years. I'm just not sure exactly how to publish those spots in a way that's not easy to take and put them on another internet board somewhere and spoil it for everybody. I will work out something, hopefully very soon

I’ve seen some riders wear a fabric over their mouth and nose. Dust may be the reason?
Just spent a wasted Saturday night binge watching your last 5 videos. LOL I'm addicted. Thanks for taking me along on a Bucket list adventure. Still working 50 hour weeks (at a job I love) but Dreaming of using all that Vaca time I'm accumulating to do a long Moto trip.

How many miles do you average a day Don
Very few this trip - very slow moving journey this time. Even when I am moving I don't put on a lot of miles because the next spot is never far - it is all amazing in the Rockies
Ask him how many beers he averages a day. LOL.
