Those bumpy roads would be a great time to do laundry. Put your dirty clothes in a bucket with a lid. Add vinegar & just enough water to cover the clothes then secure the top. That crazy bumpy road will splash the water around in the bucket. When you get camp set up finish your clothes. Just get them out, wring them out, hang them out, dry them out 😉 The fresh air will kill the vinegar smell as long as you didn't pour to much in.

Please be aware that you seem to be choosing "low spots"....These low places can be dangerous with flash flooding during intense storms...💖
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. She obviously hasnt spent much time in Arizona to know how dangerous flash flooding can happen and what a wash looks like.
Yup, don’t camp in a wash because it can turn into a wild river.
Wouldn't the place where you get the permit offer some kind of info on flash floods or wash situations and how to avoid those areas?
@@dianepierson4687 im sure you get some general info however until you have experienced how quickly a flash flood can happen and see how dangerous they are you really dont have a clue. Unfortunately even people who live in the area can get caught by surprise. Its just something to keep in mind and to avoid those low areas whenever possible.

I would be the person in the park to take a pen and correct the sign on the bathroom door: "Showers our--are Down for Today." As a solo female, do you get any unwanted interaction from people? I get the feeling that if it's just minor stuff, you might not want to say anything about it, but everything is interesting and important for others to know. Thanks for all of the work you do on your vlogs! They are amazing.

@@parkercummings1906 i believe $13! Has hand soap at the sink, body wash in the shower comes with set of body towel facecloth and floor mat towel for your use. no set time limit (but be respectful for our trucking industry). There is also a toilet the shower room. CLEANED AFTER EACH USE.

Hi Chantel, I've been following you on here since you started your Basic Journey, not a creep, just learning what I can do when I leave later this year ! I heard you say you like shade, I went on a 2 month test run 2 years ago and loved it ! Now for shade I bought a lightweight tarp and tent poles at Wal-Mart and a bag of zip ties 9roughly 100 for a couple dollars, and when I found a spot I zip tied tarp to side of van luggage racks and put up poles and stakes . Stay safe young lady, I'll keep watching for more things I can use !
