flash 14mm for me and its the best performer so far. i tried the joola line and selkirk line. haven't tried the double diamond though. the review of all around paddle performance paddle nails it, its the quickness around the kitchen line that had me sold. i have some tennis background so i don't worry about baseline shots. i love the feel of the 14mm cuz i can feel more of the ball. some say the 14mm will provide more pop but i don't see it that way.
i have a v7 prism that i use for teaching and a flash 14 and prism flash 14, both with 3grams on the corners. love them both alot, mostly flash for tournements unless balls keep going long (easier to switch paddles than take off weights) prism is a blast when ifeel like hitting harder and it has no problems with power. not a big difference between the two. neither will generate a lot of power for you but perfect if you like generating it yourself... witch i personally love. i hear the flash 16mm is much more poppy so i went with the 14mm
I have the thermo V7 and the thermo 14 flash. Both fantastic. V7 is basically a paddle for dummies. Great for a beginner because of the huge sweet spot or experienced player who values touch. Flash 14 isn’t really a beginner paddle, but if you have a tennis background and good touch, you can unlock wild power, spin and pop. But you really have to focus with this paddle as it’s not as easy to play with as the V7.
You said the cheaper version is the Prism line. I have heard from a lot of people that the Prism line actually has better Control and Forgiveness. You "do" lose power but the Prism Flash has better Control/Forgiveness than the Pro Flash. Am I hearing this wrong?
I have the alchemy and the V7. I love the V7 for outdoor, and tend to use the alchemy for indoor where we use a lighter, softer ball. I love its maneuverability and pop. stability and control is the weakness of this paddle for me. I'm looking at a flash to be more like the V7 in terms of stability and control, yet give me the maneuverability and pop of the alchemy. My skill level is 3.5 or so. Would you recommend the 14 or 16 mm flash??
We had a Vatic Prism Flash 14mm. It started out great - really responsive and nice spin. Control was fine originally. However, after about 3 months it started to go dead - the sound even changed to more of a thud and the ball started to go everywhere but where you want it to go. I am seeing why the warranty is only 90 days. Switched to a Six Zero Double Black Diamond 14mm, which has been a fantastic paddle. Hopefully it will last longer.
Vatic pro warranty is now 6 months so go out and get one, the flash 14mm becomes a really great paddle when you start getting used to it, so go out and get one
14 if you are an experienced player and okay with not having a large sweet spot, and can generate your own pace and touch. Becuase it’s so light, you can get crazy spin and whip on it. But if you aren’t a consistent hitter and often mis hit, the 14 may be frustrating for you… if you’re an average player, I would go for the 16. Will have much more forgiveness and a better sweet spot.
The flash is my # 1 paddle for league and tournament play. Video suggestion, don’t talk so fast it’s sometimes hard to understand. That’s just for me . Thanks
Hey man just here to explain how currencies work. So the US dollar is more valuable than the Canadian dollar due to economic output. So when you convert from USD to CAD, the value is going to be a higher number. Now if you put two and two together, you’ll realize this establishment is in Canada. Whereas most pickle ball companies are American, so their prices are USD.

did you add any weights (lead tape)?
@@gwang5066 no. i enjoy the lightweight balance for quick hand action.

Been a Flash 16mm player since it dropped. For a "keeper" to my quiver of paddles. Looking forward to seeing reviews on the new GEARBOX line.
thanks for the reviews!!!!!!!!!!!

That's exactly it, it's a softer paddle line so they will naturally have more control. Fantastic value!
Hi, great video thank you, would you recommend the pro series over the vatic prism series?
Thank you
See you answered that at the end lol

Give the 14mm a go; you'll like the pop a little more and the sweetspot is more stable and forgiving.
For the vatic pro flash, or for any paddle for that matter, how do i decide if i get the 14 or 16mm?
14 will always be a bit more responsive and powerful and 16 more forgiving and soft.
Check out the Neonic Paddle
The review I've been waiting for. Do you use lead tape on v7 at all? I tried it but lost a lot of spin control. Wonder what your thoughts are.
whyd you put lead tape on

Hi ! Between the 14mm flash and the 16mm, wich better ? Thank you !
If you want more power/pop go for the 14. If you want more control go for the 16.

Unfortunately, durability will always be a problem with paddles just because of the nature of contact between ball and material.

How come the paddles on your mentioned website are substantially more expensive than everywhere else?
They are in Canadian dollars.
Do you recommend the 16mm Flash or the 14mm Flash?

Thank you and I love my Flash 14! Like you said, quick and spiny!
The flash is my # 1 paddle for league and tournament play.

Noted; I've been trying to slow it down recently.
They have the absolute worst customer service. The glue came off the edge guard in less than 5 weeks and they told me sorry about your luck. Pitiful.
I think its really scummy all the paddles on your site are just overpriced paddles that you can get for much less by the original retailer...

Youre acting real high and mighty when I obviously just didnt see that it was a Canadian site...

Come on officer you can't really be giving me a ticket, obviously I didn't see the red light.
