hello, is there a way i can export with 60 fps or there is no 60 fps in clipchamp?

You had me at windows movie maker 2.0. I remember making AMV's back in the early 2000's with windows movie maker and how heart broken I was to see movie maker was discontinued.
I just used clipchamp myself. For beginners, I'd say its pretty damn good and best of all its Free. Only wish they had more templates to choose from. Maybe they should consider partnering with canva or envisions.
I've used Filmora and quite a few others. Clipchamp is quite easy and versatile. To be honest unless your producing really professional grade stuff for commercial purposes Clipchamp is perfectly capable for your video editing needs, whether its just for home, UA-cam, Instagram, TikTok or whatever.
SOLD! finally something that is all I need and free. everyone seems to be promoting Premiere pro and other paid software that i just don't have the dosh for and can't justify the purchase of.

The text to speech thing on that is really good, might be the best free TTS that I've ever tried
I use to use capcut but it became less user friendly and I didn't need thousands of options. Going through this and it's great. Thanks. I came across a problem of clicking export, but nothing happened. I closed it down and opened it back up, which solved the problem. Thanks again
I was looking for a new editing software for my pc. My old laptop had filmora 10 (Acer i3) but really struggled to meet the demands of editing videos. I've since gotten myself a new laptop and saw that I had this editing software on my op win 11. Didn't give it much thought until now and it looks like it has what I want. Adobe suite and Davinci Resolve looks like the step down the line, but for now this looks good. Thanks for the informative video.👍
Clipchamp needs to be able to work offline as well. It not working offline is a problem. I think it needs a native and web app.... Not being able to edit a video without the Internet is a real pain.
Try CapCut, I’ve been using it in my videos and I’m not convinced this is better

Help! How do you edit a how-to video (explaining software) so you can easily remove video/audio out takes? I know you must detach the audio and video, but then how do you keep things sync'd going forward as you make changes? Alternately, I've tried using a text-to-speech script and getting that to match the how-to information shown on the screen, but I can't figure out how to sync the words and the actions with any ease.

How do you advance frame by frame ? The previous software which Microsoft removed let you do this.

i tried to render a gaming video with it and the result (1080p export) looked lower fps than the 30fps rendering i did with another editing software. whats wrong with clipchamp? why would i use it if it cant even export right?

How can I add a text with an outline that doesn't have weird animations? Just like the subtitles, but then with black shadow/outline so it's easier to read the text.
The outline shadow option has a typewritre effect which I don't like and the normal subtitles option doesn't have a outline option for text, only a background color option.

I have several videos in the time line. In between the videos there is the blank(buffeting) screen. Have tried cutting it out, deletion & adding transitions. Nothing works.

Tried exporting and anything that's is slightly dark decides to become unviewable like it's fine when editing but after export it's fucked
What about the export settings?
With free version upto 1080p 30fps is supported. Resolutions are 480p, 720p, 1080p and with upgraded version you can export upto 4K.
No 60fps at all?
Not quite. You can't add your own VO to the video and that is really bad.

I would throw audio file to audacity, mute background noise and then export it to clipchamp

forces you to save to cloud only. Free yah but not useful if I can't save to my local storage
You can save locally, this video was made completely using the free version
@@HelloHelloCharlie The only "local" option is OneDrive. That requires full access to all by Clipchimp. When I turn on OneDrive it starts sync of any content up to Microsoft's cloud. I just want to save to render the edited work to my local drive I see no option to do that. OneDrive will fill up then start asking for money beyond 5gb.
@@halfglassfull just checked yeah you can't do local saves but i've just opened up this project from months ago and it works perfectly, you cans till export locally which is the main thing.
