Ivaylo is Mr.Yo for me I think Viper is Admiral and the last 2 players to qualify are actually Hera and Lierrry. John The Fearless is Hera and Philip the good is Liereyyy its looklike Yo, Hera and Lierrey are in same path to final 1/4 final between Hera and Liereyy and winner to face probably Mr.Yo on Semifinal
Viper confirmed. He plays Gods in these types of maps. But most important he makes his opponents looks bad despite they are great players. He outplays them.
Yes, I do think it's him too. The way he was greedy and fast to build the house walls in the first game plus all the castles and perfectly timed raidings was super viperish. But most importantly, he picked portuguese.
Ok here's my guess. In previous HC tournaments, Viper has been playing more casually in initial rounds and then really picked up speed when closing in on finals. This game has a very Viper esque feel from Ivaylo, in that it looks like a Viper who sees their opponent's playstyle, acknowledges their general skill level, and then adjusts his own play accordingly (more casual vs more tryhard). This really felt like watching Viper play vs an opponent that he is confident about beating. You see Ivaylo at times not care too much about specific micro because he probably knows he doesn't have to maximize every single aspect of his game to win. Like in first round, xbow and mango micro wasn't top tier, but that entire aspect was secondary to his gameplan of massive boom and macro play to win, so it didn't really matter. It just feels like watching Viper play a high tier match in ranked. But then again, anyone who seems confident has Viper feels automatically 11 so what do I know. Ivaylo looking confident as hell no matter who the player is, that's for sure.
Thats exactly how i felt when watching, too. The first game was pretty standard, to feel out the oponent, the second a bit more out of the box and the third quite whacky. Once he felt sure, he would win, he began messing more. Especially tiny things like the point where he walled of the demo. Im sure, he saw it and waited till the last moment to wall it out.
@@Link1506 Yep exactly. Comparably, in HC3 Hera was pretty much stomping everyone and going full serious mode in every match, which was seen in his result and his playstyle - whereas Viper was much more casual and chill (maybe except vs Mr Yo). It takes immense skill to make use of such different playstyles (as we saw in this video), and still pull off a comfortable win and never seem phased by anything.
@@Link1506 I'd even argue that the first game wasn't standard. It was overly greedy. It looked like Ivalyo was testing his opponent. King wasn't able to punish him hard enough for the astronomical greed, so Ivalyo allowed himself to lie back a little in game 2, and then even more in game 3 with his weird civ pick and seemingly purposefully failed micro.
@@DaddyMouse Indeed, that kind of greed only comes when you are testing limits to size up your opponent, and being so confident in macro skills - and then later showing superior micro skills in 2nd game too.. Not many players can pull it off against enemies of this level we see in HC tournaments.

Ivaylo has a very viper feel. The not using tc to kill boar is messing with me too although they may not do it for this big tournament. King belo feels like a skill gap so I dont think it's villese. I'm gunna go with Barles.
Barles said in his qualifier interview he hates water, so I can't see him picking high tides and mudflow as home maps. I've got a bunch of random notes about players and who they might be and I actually have Warwolf circled as being a strong Barles candidate. King felt a little like Dogau.
@@Eminence-of-Quran Globally banning is practically banning a Civ ahead of the actual draft. So you will never face that civ. Sniping is removing one civ from the opponent's draft.
