You could but its really easy to make a website these days with sites like Wix, Squarespace, etc. Even a simple one-page landing page with links to music/art, photos and a bio would suffice. Official sites will always look better and more professional than a LinkTree ever will. Hope this helps!
What happens if you need funds to get started on the music itself ? For example I have a written piece but don’t have equipment to put out the music and need funds to create the project itself are their grants for that???
Yes, that’s what grants are for. BUT they don’t fund equipment purchases; instead you’d use a grant to hire an engineer or studio or producer to make the music. If you’ve never released music before and have no proof of concept, it will be difficult to win the funding due to the competitive nature of grants. It’s best to make sure you have proof you can do what you are trying to get funded, even if that means doing it out of pocket at first, much like everyone else beginning their music career. They won’t invest in you if you don’t invest in yourself. Hope this helps.
thank you so much!
nice
Could you use your link tree as a website in the mean time of getting a professional one done?
