I love these quarantine cooking videos because it's really like visiting with you in your kitchen....dogs barking, phones ringing, birds chattering, people in and out.....I love it! Thank you for opening your home and your everyday life to all your fans who love you so. Out of all the celebrity chefs, you have a gift of reaching out like a grandmother, mother, and best friend and making us feel welcomed with the grandest of love and Southern hospitality. You will always be a beloved American icon, and please keep making these videos because I look forward to each one!
Oh, YAY!! Definitely going to try this. Thanks! Love these quarantine cooking videos. So homey. Phones ringing, dogs barking and running through, grandchildren waving at the window. Just makes your family seem like our family and we just love you for it.
Dearest Paula, I lost both of my son's unexpectedly & tragically 7 months apart this past year... both of them so loved to eat. My youngest son Jacob (25) was just starting to figure out the joy of cooking (and how the ladies love a man who can cook) I don't have any recipes from them, but I can't walk through a grocery store and not think.. Jake would love this or DJ would love that. Food & sharing the very thing that sustains us really bonds us in ways that go on long after we are gone.. as proven by this recipe & its cherished memories of your Aunt for you. Thank you for sharing your home, your time, your recipes & your loved ones stories with us, it really means more to some of us than you will ever know.. XO, Your long time & forever fan, Georgi

Paula brings tears to my eyes just listening to her!! What a sweet lady!! I've always loved watching her cooking shows! She's the only one that, to me, is true to heart! Thank you Paula! Love you ❤️
Thanks again Paula. Love it when you talk about your family and the special memories they evoke. So many memories of our loved ones are associated with food.
So true, I know when I make it eat certain foods, it takes me back in time to my mother or my cousin, or someone who is either no longer with me or someone who lives far away from me. Thank you for this Rouqfort dressing recipe!!!!
I'm so thankful for you Miss Paula. You have been such a bright spot in my day with these videos! I do hope you will continue, even after this whole corona mess is over with! Much love to you and prayers for you and your family!
Hi Paula, I love to hear about your family stories along with your great recipes. Hope your you tube videos comtinue. Thank you for sharing. This Roquefort dressing looks delicious, cant wait to try it. Thank you for sharing. Blessings to everyone :)
Another great recipe. Thank you, Ms Paula. Isn't funny how certain foods remind you of people? Homemade lemonade and apple pie always reminds me of my great grandmother who passed away when I was 16. That was 40 years ago! ❤
I love watching you on my break everyday! I have been working at a grocery store through all of this and I watch you everyday! It makes it go by better
Ha! My 8 year old just added the recipe idea to the meal plan. She eats blue cheese by the spoonful and could live on mayonnaise. Like a dream come true 😂
Bryan B- Me too!! 😊I absolutely love blue cheese, and I love mayonnaise sooo much! This recipe is gonna be so great, when I make it, this weekend, for a Cobb salad. All the best to y’all! ❤️🙏🏼
I love all of your videos, but I especially love this one, because of it's "realness." Dogs barking, phones ringing, hubby bringing home the groceries, Aunt Peggy asking for and getting the same meal two days in a row, and recalling memories of loved ones. I have been thinking of my deceased grandparents so much lately, as I try to put together a photo album of their black and white photos that I inherited recently. Family...the most important thing in this world. God bless you and your family, Mrs. Paula!

God bless you, Paula! Sometimes it’s the smallest simplest things that can bring back our sweetest memories of loved ones taken from us. So glad you can keep memories of your family close while sharing your beautiful heart with the world. Thank you so much for your time.
Ooh my Paula I loved this video. It wasn't for the recipe as much as it was sharing your memories. I dunno why but at the end I had tears. I just turned 50 and my momma passed at 62 in 2013. My daddy at 45 in 1995. I get a little weepy during mother"s and father's day. Thank you so much for sharing with us!!! ❤
The only appropriate sauce for Buffalo-style wings!! If I don’t have lemon, I’ll use a dash of Worcestershire sauce. And if my sweetheart or my brother’s household is coming, I’ll add a hint of powdered garlic. You took me down memory lane to the first time my parents ever took my brother and me to a restaurant as co-diners (i.e., not as infants) and the salads came to the table with Roquefort dressing and crumbled. That was also a time when you could buy a 3 oz block of cream cheese, and people made one salad dressing for the dinner from scratch and not bring a boatload of bottles full of additives to the table. I’m making your recipe for lunch today!!!
I enjoyed. Thanks for posting!. You brighten my day. I'm unemployed since my company ceased operations because of Covid I worked at the company for 7 years. Most of my colleagues had 20+ years there. Hi from your friend from Dawson Ga

The dressing sounds like it would be so good !! It's funny how different foods can remind you of your loved ones isn't it ? I do the same thing . This is incredible, just got done making it. I thought I had all the ingredients at home, but didn't. I used regular blue cheese. I didn't have lemon (or lime) so I juiced an orange. Also didn't have any red wine vinegar so I used a bit of balsamic and apple cider vinegar. I could eat it by the spoonful. I love these informal videos in your home, the phone, dogs, and family interruptions are the best part.
every time I watch one of these new Paula deen shows, it's therapy for my nerves from worrying about bills and this virus , I am a school bus driver laid off work but these shows just soothes my nerves, lol probably cause i love food lol Plus her telling her stories about her past is interesting.
Hey Paula, I absolutely love watching a new video with you cooking everyday. Your laugh is infectious. Thank you for being a source of comfort during these uncertain times. BTW, I'd love to see you make a Meatloaf!

Roquefort Dressing is my favorite too. My Momma had me try it as a young girl. I will try your recipe some time. I've been adding green basil paste (produce section) to all my store bought creamy dressings which adds so much character and freshens up the flavor. I made your ooey, gooey butter cake last night and it is fantastic. I'll have more tonight then no more since I'm starting a medical diet that includes 6 tiny meals a day. My daughter Angela lost over 100 pounds in a year on it. I have 45 pounds to lose. Getting married and 2 surgeries since August reeked havoc with my weight. I love you all in Christ. Big hugs. #JesusSaves #FullArmorofGod #GodWins
I sustain my memories of my beloved grandmother through cooking out of her cookbooks and hand written recipes. My grandpa used to make this dressing when I was a child so I'm going to be making it soon.

Much love to you and yours!
Hey Paula! Loving these recipes! I’m from the UK and am really enjoying making Southern cuisine-I’ve never had anything like it before and it truly is something special. Getting used to using cups instead of ounces or grams for dry ingredients is taking some time though 😜. Much love from the UK.
Oh, that looks so good! you're making me want to go to the store!!! My mother used to make homemade Thousand Island dressing...and I wish I knew how she made it...nothings ever come close.
It’s 3:30 in the morning , I’m watching UA-cam videos. I literally just got up and made this , I had everything in the house I needed including lemons! I have to agree, it’s one of the best blue cheese dressing I’ve ever had.
Saw you get a little choked up when you talked about your aunt Trina, who was raised more of a sister to you than an aunt. Felt that hurt of her being gone in my soul. Thanks for sharing Paula. God bless you for it.
TYFS - I really appreciate your quarantine cooking series that you’ve been sharing with us! I’m so sorry for your losses & I absolutely have memories of loved ones with certain recipes. Great Grandma taught me how to make potato rolls & I will always think of her when I make or purchase them. Please stay safe Miss Paula 😷!
And, making sure the cheese is room temperature. When cheese is cold, our tastebuds can't really taste the REAL flavor. Your dressing looks SO VERY GOOD!! 👍👍👍

Love blue cheese marinated in a good Paula Deans basic Italian dressing as well. Good memories last forever...thanks for helping us create more ❤. And dang Roquefort is hard to find!

Saw you get a little choked up when you talked about your aunt Trina, who was raised more of a sister to you than an aunt. Felt that hurt of her being gone in my soul. Thanks for sharing Paula. God bless you for it.
When your dogs started barking...mine did too. She heard them & thought they were outside in the yard! hahaha...too funny!
I love these videos. It's like a visit to your kitchen. Wonderful! By the way, how do you cook short ribs?
Question how long does it keep
TYFS - I really appreciate your quarantine cooking series that you’ve been sharing with us! I’m so sorry for your losses & I absolutely have memories of loved ones with certain recipes. Great Grandma taught me how to make potato rolls & I will always think of her when I make or purchase them. Please stay safe Miss Paula 😷!
And, making sure the cheese is room temperature. When cheese is cold, our tastebuds can't really taste the REAL flavor. Your dressing looks SO VERY GOOD!! 👍👍👍
Paula, Thank you So much for this Roquefort Dressing Recipe! My daddy introduced me to this dressing in the 70's I LOVE IT! Than came along Ranch & No More Roquefort Dressing at Restaurants! Now I can make it at home & I will eat More Salad! XOXO
I just found your cooking videos..what a breath of fresh air. I watch you every evening and enjoy every minute of your cooking and your beautiful smile. I'm so glad you decided to make them. I've learned how to make some of my old favorites even better. Swiss meringue!! Wish I would have known about this 50 yrs ago. Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to spread a little cheer. See you in the kitchen. =)
Love blue cheese marinated in a good Paula Deans basic Italian dressing as well. Good memories last forever...thanks for helping us create more ❤. Saw a picture of you in Savannah today in your young life. I looked at it...and saw the outward beauty you miss...and I too wished I had mine back. Then I remembered you...with your younger stronger loving spirit today. You haven't lost it Paula. So don't look back. That is why it is so important for us to try to create a place where we all can have a lifelong child hood. Smelling the Gardinas for you Paula in the squares in Savannah! Much real love, back at you darling!

My grandmother used to make this & stuff celery sticks with it for family gatherings. Delicious. 🧀
I don’t like bleu
cheese. I also live in a rural area and can’t get more specialty cheeses. Do you have suggestions of different cheese substitutes?

We love short ribs! Yum yum, German style! Cannot wait to make this dressing! Thank you, dolly! EDIT: OHMAHGAHHHHHH! Made this dressing last night! IT IS AWESOME. I did cheat and add 1-2 tbs of worcestershire sauce( a trick I learned as a salad girl when I was a teenager). This is truly fabulous! We are calling it Auntie Paula's dressing! And dang Roquefort is hard to find!
We have no idea what to make with shrimp. Can you make something with shrimp? Thank you so much for sharing! Loving this show! We learn alot when you just talk!
Yummy dressing! Ms. Paula you look stunning today! 💕
Miss Paula, when I get to missing my mama and daddy I make corned beef and cabbage or pot roast. I am just an old southern lady living alone, but I get my dogs.
