Telperion and Laurelin breaks my heart in a good way
I like the way these epic songs progress and sweep through various movements. This is good "riding the steed to the castle in the hopes that the evil wizard hasn't yet killed the princess" music.
This is like Summoning but without the black metal
Most of the best Dungeon Synth is
Just listing the intro i am arree with you
Black metal is retarded, and its bands are filled with trendy satanists that hate what's respectable in this world.
@@endtimescrucialinfo youre probably just a butthurt christian, because who else would put a bible verse as their username?
@@arte0021 Black metal blows and has always been for posers. Be cultured, listen to art not noise. Man up
Perfect for reading, studying and relaxing.
....and writing lol
Just a few weeks ago, while writing my fledgling novel. I had this album playing in the background. On repeat, the entire night.
It turned out to be the best and the most emotional stuff I have ever written. Upon realizing this, I immediately ordered the physical copy. Easily one of my favorite albums of all-time. Truly stunning.
Whats the book about?
@@anarchyroks6663 nothing because it didnt happen
@@anarchyroks6663 It was about my own fantasy world and some of the characters and their actions in it. I later scrapped it, but I did use a lot of the material on my homebrew DnD campaign.
Maybe I'll start it all over again, but who knows.
@@attilamurvai3108 Children are a funny breed of creature. In a world where if it wasn't filmed, they'll call you a liar, but never to your face because they're cowards.
'In Caves We Delve' is far too classy for a dungeon raiding track. Magical stuff
Because it has nothing to do with raising. That’s the 3rd act; where the Chad Walk commences.
"dungeon synth" isn't about dungeon raids lol it's an esthetic
Such a grand album. My own favorite is 'In Caves We Dwelve', reminds me of my first time reading The Silmarillion.
@@andreafomasidirector the Silmarillion is essentially the prequel to the lord of the rings / the hobbit. Establishes a lot of the world
@@andreafomasidirector The best fiction book you will ever read.
Whenever I get to Telperion And Laurelin I feel a deep contentedness.
It's like "A Forest" by The Cure.
I had to google contentedness
so said ungoliant
So I haven't listened to them all obviously, but this is by far my favorite Dungeon Synth I've found so far. It has some variety, lots of character and maturity, but still delivers the chanting, repetitive drone that puts you in the mood to go dungeon hacking and spell casting. Each track is a gem. Each one is epic and unique. This sounds right at place for a great video game or movie. Well done!

Anduin Suchan If You like LL, try GALDUR-Age of legends-in my opinion its also sounds awesome.
Yes it sounds great and I just started to listen. I enjoy ambient music like Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and many modern artists like 2814 and Hong Kong Express. I also love bona fide medieval period music and some modern acts who mine that territory like Dead Can Dance. There are many great albums on this channel for sure. All hail.
i was dozing off to this until an ad popped up it broke the vibe so suddenly that i noticed just how good this music is
Love this sooo much!
this is a great album and LL has fast become my favourite dungeon synth

Wow! Got goosebumps on the third track. That's so good.
me too...I peed myself five times listening to it
Awesome, Bravo! .. a little remember Die Verbanten Kinder Evas !
Just straight Dungeon Synth without any curious experiments. A pleasure for the ears.
Wow. Hearing 2010's Quenta Silmarillion and 2016's Book of Lore, I'm veeeery amazed by how much it has enhanced its music. And beautiful to listen to.
Behold the king of elves is a masterpiece.
lindas e suaves melodias
this is truly beautiful
This feels like home.
I agree with Auduin Suchan. Great piece. I use it as background music when writing fantasy gaming adventures.
@@peterschmeltzer hope you've grown up a little since you posted this
As magical as the book itself
holy shit that throwback to mines of moria off the quenta silmarillion ep on mines of nargothrond. Epic nostalgia
Jeez, this is beautiful.
Remembers me of the atomsphere of those good old Lands of Lore games... Amazing!!
Loved the LoL soundtrack! And the game...
Amazing!
Excelente trabajo
Stupendo. Greetings from Rome
GREAT!
Wow, this is amazing!
Lord Lovidicus’ music is pure magic :D
I listen this music when I write my fantasy stories.🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Wow, what a gem.
A very accessible, magical listen, perfect for introducing new people to DS. Despite the obvious pun they'll make out of the artist's name :^)

Is there something funny about the name Biggus Lovidicus?
I found this type of music from this Lord Lovidicus
yes
Nice interesting!
Very cleverly structured melodies, dungeon synth has advanced a lot from the first more primal songs of the 90's
Bravo!
I hear lots of Basil Poledouris in this one. Conan the Barbarian. Then getting some Wizards and a Warriors- Iron sword from Nintendo. So many different types. Too many to list.
Wow! I love it!
"Forging an Iron Crown" remembers me a lot of Norfair chorus is Super Metroid.
Masterpiece
Epic.

Varda recogía el rocío que caía de Laurelin y Telperion...
great background sound for my recent Baldur's Gate Sessions. Thx
when I hover the mouse cursor above 30:40 yt tells me that this part was "repeated the most".. funny, just wanted to repeat this amazing track :)
I find some of this to be very reminiscent of the original FATE and Diablo soundtracks, which are good sources to draw inspiration from IMO
deliantra feels
The song Telperion and Laurelin reminds me of my wife.
This is really good. so, named after the character in The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion?
I thought I were the only one thinking about the name lol
This is some Gondor Synth :)
Lots of this sounds like the Chance Thomas soundtrack to LOTRO. Which means it sounds amazing.
fucking masterful
Are there any companies or distro specialising in dungeon music?

This is great music and all, but I would've personally made a lot of the tracks darker and more brooding. For example, track 10 really should be quite tragic. The music has almost no bearing on the actual character of Eol the dark elf.
This constant percussion sound (tambourine?) annoys me honestly
It's a little high in the mix, and there are parts in the songs where it should probably drop out.. Overall a good record, but I can see why the tambourine would be annoying to some.
So clean... nope
Sounds nice but there is nothing of Dungeon in there. No echoes, no reverberation, no FX trying to rhythm. I would use this album in a RTS or open world game for example, but definitely not in a dungeon.
None of which are contingent for such music to be classified as Dungeon Synth btw, but go off.
