On PENDA's latest project, the resting king brings doom metal and 60s krautrock influence into his Dungeon Synth pantheon. Slowed, down pitched and fuzzing combinations of Synth, lyre and guitar summon a rhythmic journey of cart wheels ever turning down roads of eldritch sludge.

Ahahaha I've already ordered. Feel awesome
blinker off the plague cart got me hallucinating
under rated comment
that's what i thought the title meant till i looked closer at the art 🤣
☠If I ever end up on a plague cart and start hallucinating, barely alive, I hope that the driver is civil enough to at least play this album for me on the way to the pit. ☠
With what his lute?
A Necrobard👀
@@devonhedinger4132 A bard who uses dark, forbidden tablatures to summon the dead and infest the lands with the plague sounds like an awesome DnD villain.
NECROBARD!
Really depends on if they release this on 8-track, which is basically the standard for plague cart stereo systems.
This is what I want people to listen to when I talk about dungeon synth. Very clean dark and obscure atmosphere, it really feels like dying with high fever while having delirium hallucinations with the plague
Or..just a dragon..thinking..❤
-"I'm getting better..."
-"No your not, you'll be stone dead in a moment..."
I absolutely LOVE THIS !!!!! Yeah, If the Plague of the Middle Ages had a soundtrack, this would be it. You can almost hear the rats eating the flesh !!!!
It's like John Carpenter made an 80's dark fantasy movie and this is the sound track. This randomly popped up on my feed and its great, good work Penda.
I dig that comparison
This album is such an inspiration to me. Don't have anything else to say.
Definitely great music for rolling along on a dead cart with a 106 degree fever!
I love this, fantastic work here carving out a unique sound while still giving the listener plenty of familiar things to entice them into a new world. The album art is fantastic, too!
Wow, thank you, that's such a nice compliment to get. I really appreciate that. The artist is @e.j.m.design on Instagram. I highly reccomend checking out her other work, she's fantastic.
thank you for the trip
one of the best dungeon synth albums, hope for more 🙏
This is transcendental DS
Good mix of sound and atmosphere.
Perfect Cover.
Perfect Title.
Perfect Album.
Yes! Thank you.
This is...AWESOME!! Just great 👍🏼😎👍🏼
Some Blade Runner vibes in this. Dope.
This is a sound that I had always wished existed, but could never find. Truly, excellent work, well done mate.
Didn't expect you here
i totally agree!!
These two genres needed this
This is perfect for my Mörk Borg game. Finally. Thank you.
Holy shit, this is fucking great from the artwork, naming and the music is fucking amazing!❤
Jesus, this could legit be music from Berserk. I love it.
that artwork is dark.... 🔥
very unusual stuff. Unusual, but cool. Decent work!
When a Lucio Fulci film meets Herbie Hancock. Love this. Gracias, amigo👊
I like all the places this album went, I can't wait to hear more!
New subscriber here. Your wok would have beeen the OST of a 1970s cult fantasy movie.
Couldn't be more happy with that review
This moody, dark, bad-trip inducing music is just what I need to power through this gloomy autumn.
Cover art looks insane, can't wait to listen.
Thanks! Check out the rest of Emily's work here, it's fantastic.

This is really awesome, especially with Halloween approaching
this is an excellent album. it is like a berserk inspired synth piece.
Holy shit track number 3 took me somewhere brother man, mad respects 🙏🏻
Self tittled track and Charms lost, Charms won are quite unique. Looking forward for future material.
Great work
this sounds completely different to all dungeon Synth Releases i've heard. really i don't understand this genre! but this is cool
This album diff. Haven't heard anything quite like this. A compelling piece of work from start to finish. Just the stories that surface in my mind from the name of the album and the image alone, not to mention the sonic tale of the album itself... Masterful. Great work here. This is going on the 'shit to show people who will really GET it' list.
welcome to dungeon synth.ambient. a million artists doing this same thing kiddo. get with the times, this style of music is ancient, maybe even start with klaus schulze.
@@JdjdbNdjdb I've listened to quite a few albums of the Fief and Dungeonsiege style, but this one stood out to me! I'll check out Klaus Schulze. Thanks for the recommendation. Cheers!
I love this album, when this came out it made me much more interested in dungeon synth and overall heavier music and I'm glad I got more into it, thank you and great job! This sounds like something diseased and depressed medieval peasants would have made had they access to this technology.
Has a dark future kind of vibe to it but still very much dungeon synth, great stuff.
❤ love it Penda
lots of Legendary Pink Dots vibes sprinkled throughout. good stuff
Thats fine n all but where is the legendary pink socks??
totally different spin on the genre from my all-time favorites "Secret Stairways" and "Depressive Silence", but incredibly intriguing and enjoyable 🙏🙏dungeon synth is awesome
this is art
What a treat to wake up to
These videos are SO incredibly high quality and they just keep improving somehow,
keep em coming

Hail friend, thank you for your support 🙏
This is really unique in such a different dark way. Time traveler perhaps! 👻
Strange and fascinating, you nailed the atmosphere! The picture is absolutely beautiful as well!
Avec 20 ans de moins, c"'est probablement ce que j'aurai écrit mais j'ai entendu tant de choses ici qui m'ont surpris et enchanté 😝
this is really good. especially love the really deep drums and bass. more please.
Awesome mate. Sometimes unnervingly pleasing, which is an interesting feeling to invoke.
Awesome stuff 👌 reminds me of TimeWave Zero by Blood Incantation in parts
This rules, evocative is an understatement
This album is executed so well, very inspiring
So fucking good.
Wow 🤯 so deep.... ~👽
Holy crap, this is good!
Excellent work.
Stellar atmospheres and textures. I've listened to it a few times now and sent to a few friends. Congrats man!
this is very good. as a LONG time fan of dungeon synth, what you've archived on this record is breathtaking.
I wonder if works from Buckethead like "Spirit Winds" or "Cycles" (one single 26 minute song) could be classified as Dungeon Synth of some kind... or maybe his album "Decoding the Tomb of Bansheebot" (the name really puts you in the mood)
You remind me of the grand old days of cassette culture!
This is great. Very much looking forward to a physical release!
Thank you. It is definitely in the works, watch this space.
Hey there, I'm super happy to say that cassette tapes are now available! Here is the link if you're still interested: pendasfen.bandcamp.com/album/plague-cart-hallucinations

The experimental music is amazing jkkkkj 👹 so underrated..

It's a darkest magic thing, what I ever heard...
I had a good time listening to this album, and that title/cover combo slaps
This was very interesting pleasant stuff, thanks!

Hit the Bubonic XXX runtz pack and found myself here
Great album
good stuff yeah it’s a nice feel to it
Very cool! Really sets up a good atmosphere to listen this while reading gothic literature.
Drop your gothic literature recommendations, I'm always looking for some.
Отличная музыка! В мою коллекцию я положу этот альбом рядом с Tiphonian highlife, Tribes of neurot и Dvar.

Masterpiece, it would be great to own this record on a vinyl or CD

@@tristancaver4836 Hey Tristan, the album is now available on cassette if you still fancy it! pendasfen.bandcamp.com/album/plague-cart-hallucinations
This genre is what I think I could start making if I ever bought the machines for techno.
You can do it, all you need is a DAW. The only live played keyboard part in this album is in the last song, and my first album was all done within Ableton. Get yourself a demo and start playing.
what sorcery is this
The Plague Cart Hallucinations song is so good wow. I think that's where you really nail the concept. The pacing and balance is absolutely perfect - the slowly evolving grounding melodic base and the absolutely liberated borderline playful voices drifting off from the center. And the tonal balance between the distorted guitar chords and the synth arps and pads...I think this is it... I've been looking for this for over a decade now. Even the percussion is completely coherent - nod to those shakers that come in at 28:55.
Una obra maestra
