Hi I’ve been playing eve online for many years or should I say 20 years on and off I have had ups and downs in doing industry. I still manage to make good isk’s hulks are what I build and have done for years still good profit in it and have bpo’s for all the mining ships been listening to your UA-cam videos for few years now and will for times to come. My in game names denzil3 have look my history been all over Eden have plenty of stories to tell. Good luck on your next trillion.
stumbled across your vids and glad I did, great info, much appreciated. Also, don't see a pinned winner yet, video says if no pinned message then its still open...so I'll drop my IGN: Lord Vx.
IGN Rejected child. You got me hooked now, I really didn't know what do do with my Alt but do now, I have her building my Ammo from salvaged loot and have looked at starting small t2 research and production, Did some research on skills and how to start but slowly getting my head round it, You have changed my mind set on Isk returns as I was always one for watching the wallet and hoping for faster returns, Now Subscribed and looking through your back log of videos on production etc,
Hey man, industry is great as a passive ish way of bringing in ISK without having to grind it out running missions etc. However it can be somewhat capital intensive and it can take a while for things to sell so if you have a few billion sitting around then get going. If your new ish and dont have a decent wallet grind it out until you do. Best of luck!
@@strontumdog More than welcome. Also you're my first ever supporter!! lol so thank you! Although I now need to make some content and now im under pressure lol. However huge thank you its much appreciated.
Hi. Thanks for then informative video on industry. I would love to see how you do research in a bit more depth. Keep up the great work 😊. IGN Spondulic
Interesting videos 😊 I sometimes come across BP that cost a lot more to build then what the end product costs at JIta. What do you usually do with these BP? I got a few Ruttlesnake BP that I just keep and not build 😊 Daniel Lor
Your video reminds me I should get into Tech 2. I currently can do invention for most modules and ships. I'm only missing the skills for Astronautics (not used anymore), the subsystems (maybe when I can fly the Tengu I'll take a look), and Sleeper and Upwell (don't know what the use for that, so not interested). Now, all those skills are at level 1, and I don't see any benefit in the description to level these to 5. Should I just keep them at 1 or is there a reason to train them to 5 ? As for production I have Industry V, so I think I can make pretty much any modules and ammo, and Advance Small Ship Construction at level 1 only (T2 frigates and destroyers). I've been researching a lot of BPOs since I started playing about 2 years ago, but so far only did Tech 1 production, and copies of ammo BPOs in order to produce ammos in all 4 empire space for personal use when I visit them. As I said, probably time to step it up, and your video is a reminder. With the new mirror on Sisi, I'll try to do my first inventions there in order to have a feel with the datacores and decryptors. I just launched a few copy jobs for different items. IGN: Vadania Danann
@@daver9571 Good call. I just tried on Sisi to boost Electronic Engineering, Rocket Science and Caldari Encryption Methods, one by one up to level 1, and the simulation in the Industry window for some Rage HAM showed the success probability go up roughly 1% for each level of each required skills. This will definitely make a significant difference on the long run.
Well that was very informative, being new to the industry and manufacturing part of the eve i will be looking forward to more of such information videos from you 🛸 IGN:Crusader Hellsing
I would be interested in hearing about the documentation/tracking of produced goods. I.e. if I produce 100 items every month, at varying costs due to Material differences, how do I know what I should sell them for, if I can't sell them the same month? I basically would have to track production costs for each single item for a very long time (until sold), this seems very tedious.. no?! Whats the best approach?
It can be done at a smaller scale but you get smaller returns but we all have to start somewhere. If you're new then grind that ISK. If you have a decent wallet of around 3 bil then you have more than enough to do it and build it up over time.
@@strange_Net managing alts isn't easy or beginner friendly. It ends up looking like a 2nd job. But I may come back to watch the whole video if I want to try industry.
@@TeeRkee The general point is if I can do it will 10x alts then you can do it with 1/2/3 etc its just less ISK but its all relative. Industry is generally easy to scale unlike many areas of Eve. However it takes time training but once done its done.
I can scrape together 5 billion of T2 production in 3-4 days on 3 toons. You seem to outproduce me by far. How may toons are you keeping busy to make so much.
Bruh, your doing market trading . The manufacturing you do is just a little something on the side to make yourself feel clever. Unless you are using mats that you bought off sell orders and then selling your stuff to buy orders, you are market trading, OKAY!?
Unless someone manufactures a tech II module, they would otherwise never get to be traded. Why only purchase mats of sell order? You can also purchase mats using buy orders, or mining. Why accept a lower profit margin selling to buy orders? Your strategy advice is setting up players to lose in industry.
The best litmus test to tell if something is profitable is to be able to buy the raw materials at the higher sell price, and STILL be able to make a profit on it. You can sink all the time you want into reprocessing, but if you don't pass that litmus test first, it's not worth manufacturing the item.
