What a nice deck owner to take care of Hillary and Hank and let them hatch their babies in peace. How cool to see every year.
Day one No eggs, day 5 eggs day 6 chicks, heheheheh, lol not how life works, but Good for him to let them be 🥰
Hillary 2024!
Geese name should have been Karen
It's an honour 🙂.
@@kiddalingur it's not like he records it every day tho
maybe it's the day (counting by his video recording)
They’re like family finally moving out. You’re happy yet sad at the same time.
😂😂
You misspelled kicked out
They'll back next year !
Geese mate for life. Very good parents , and the landlord is very awesome too 💕
True. Humans can take a lesson from them . And yes, they are good parents too!
When the couple came to nest every year on my shed roof ,it was heart warming to know they were still together and trying to raise their babies. (Where the food was lol)
@@malcolmharing3744 Hey ain't nothing wrong with being a hoe every now and then (As long as you and your fellow hoes get tested after every encounter)
@@malcolmharing3744❤
She looks so cute in the flowerpot😃
Thanks, you too
@@goose4469 lmfao!
I'd say stop hissing at me
but
I guess there are alot of crises ocults to fix
Do not be fooled by the cuteness of the cobrachicken.
A really wonderful man to sacrifice his beloved deck to beautiful geese to raise their family. Then to call for help to have them relocated to a safe place. Well done!
It was really nice, but any decent person should do the same; they have less habitat now that humans have built over it.
Wow, those must be the most civil and well mannered canadian geese i have ever seen. Guess they gave you some special treatment for using your deck 😂
LOL from the video I get the sense he's going out of his way not to provoke them, especially with eggs and babies around. Afterall we didn't see how messy this "relocation" must have been.
actually, ive seen some videos on yt where the geese actually LIKE the person that comes up to them. But I think he met them as gosilings. So they were super happy to see him and also got some nice peas while at it.
That was so cool how he shared his deck with the geese
More like the Geese shared their deck with him
Such a nice little video about appreciation and acceptance 😊
Thank you so much for letting them live with you! Beautiful story :)
Nah, they let him live with them.
@@russellbrown6888 Geese can tap into the dark side of the Force in Canada. No lie.
Very cute! Eggs safe from ground predators, too.
THIS! ⬆️ So true. 👏 I’m glad someone saw how intelligent it was/the reading behind it. ❤
If this is where I think it is, ground predators are a real risk.
Your deck makes the perfect playpen for the goslings! I can see why they chose it! Plus, pea soup!
after the goslings are done using it it's probably better described as pee soup.
@@KMCA779 chickpee soup
those little goslings, super cute
He lost a deck, but gained so much more. Thank you for your generosity.
You sir are so wonderful for letting the geese use your deck like that
Thank you for waiting for them to hatch!
Just adorable...specially when they try to swim in a soup bowl...Thank you for sharing. I truly enjoyed!
Canada Geese are incredible parents. They even organise their own creches in Coal Harbour, Vancouver with two geese looking after anywhere up to fifty Goslings.
The geese at the riverside park that I go to have creshes as well. I've sat on the ground almost surrounded by sleepy, half-grown goslings.
@@susanmacdonald4288 I think they're wonderful animals but I wouldn't want to piss one off. 😁
@@Knapweed the ones I've seen are mostly all show, with the hissing and raised wings. And I have faced down and told off the occasional one. But I'm with you...I wouldn't want to go up against a truly angry one.
Next year, as a proud deck owner, you might want to install them a nice bucket full of water 😅
Thank you for sharing a bit of wildlife cuteness!
No doubt
Knowing myself, with them returning every year, I would make a proper nesting box & a way for the hatchlings to exit 🙄
@@animeauntythey’d probably still want to use the pot.
@@animeaunty this could be an apartment, you can't simply "add" things, your landlord has to agree. Building a ramp an entire floor down is certainly not a thing any landlord would agree on.
How about a little paddling pool? Weigh it down with some rocks and water. 🙂
@@christineanderson4755 I was thinking the same thing. A little kiddy pool.
This needs to be turned into a children's book, written exactly as he told it. So charming.
Love that Hillary feels safe to roost on your deck ❤️and that you help get them all safely to the pond to grow up! You're a good human, Kristian!
What a nice 👍 guy to share his patio to our neighbors to the north. Nice going!
What a privileged guy to get to experience this amazing event every year
How cool is this guy? ❤❤❤
They shat on it, it’s their deck now. 😂
Kudos to the owner for caring for mama and the babies and letting them live there until they were ready to move. ❤
It's great that she was comfortable enough to lay her eggs on your deck!! Such a blessing omg. The babies are going to love you
Silly goose 😂
What you call me?
What an awesome experience! They definitely know they will be safe there every year.
His deck will become a geese nursery ever year
You and the geese (and the adorable goslings) and the wildlife persons ... you are all wonderful!
That was a very welcome story. We need to remember we share this environment with wild animals - co-habitation is a-ok 👍
Too cute. Good hosting, Canada Goose dad! How kind of you to share your deck .🙃
Bless you for “living with nature” and not destroying them, like other people would.
Love the name you gave her...the babies are so stinkin' cute. Nice of you to share your space with them. How fun!
I like that he relocated them. Their environment is EVERYTHING! I love the way he told the story too! Lol 😆
Best alarm system you could ever have!! Geese are so beautiful and intelligent, and goslings are very entertaining poofs to watch. 💫Perhaps put a small padding pool out for next year? ⛲
Im surprised tho, Canadian geese are usually fighters.. 😅
To have such patience and love for nature is beautiful!
So magnanimous of you to let them use your deck ! All the best to you
This is great! I have cared for a lot of birds, squirrels and deer, never geese. Can't wait until next year when your entire deck is full with the whole family😁
Beautiful story and a gorgeous family. Nice guy to let the geese use his deck❤️❤️. I would too just for the super experience 🌈🌈
Humn, what was there before the development? Maybe the geese are letting the humans share with them.
Sharing is not done by the first but by the one with the power
That was beautiful, hopefully you'll have another video for us next year.
Awesome deck. Awesome geese. Awesome man to give over his deck to the geese, each year.
Well it was the perfect sized flower pot and a perfect sized man's heart 💛
As a Canuck, this man is brave asf to approach let alone befriend a goose. 😭👏🏻
Geese in general are not all that strong but they are angry little things.
I dont eff with geese or swans xD
@@tigergutt93 swans are one animal I will never get close to. They do too much damage for me to even consider it.
How wonderful for you to give up your deck to this family. ❤️
The babies swimming in the pea soup 😭😭😭 lol 🤣
It's great to see people coexisting with nature and you are fortunate that mom trust your deck and you.
It's a heattwarming story ❤❤❤
Dear Deck Owner: THANK YOU for looking after the mama goose and her family ;)
What an amazing thing to look forward to every year!
Aww, so sweet to them! Considering their temperaments! Well, at least the Canada geese that I've dealt with! Violence is usually the first option for them, even when no eggs or chicks are involved. The babies are so darn cute though! Bless 'em and a Big Thank You for taking such good care of them and allowing them to hatch their young in a safe space.
Aww 🥰 how beautiful!!! If only all humans were this kind to wildlife ❤❤
How very sweet! Thank you for being so kind to them!
Canadian geese: MINE
Being from Texas, where geese only fly over, I was charmed by them calling from the roofs and nesting in the flowerbeds in Boise, ID. I walked up to a downtown building we'd rented for a business conference, and the goose in the flowerbed was huge! I nodded and said, "how you doing? You're a good momma! You got a good nest for your eggs!" The goose said "honk." Only a few coworkers were in the conference room, though? Then we got a call that most of the other women had been scared off by that goose & needed a big man to escort them in. ...So, don't be afraid to acknowledge geese and give them props. It seems to work!
Yes it does. I'll honk at them while taking their pictures. M
They are all beautiful gorgeous amazing animals.
Thank you, Deck owner
❤️❤️❤️ I love Canada Geese ❤️❤️❤️
Very sweet!!! You actually sound like a proud papa!!!
What a lovely, sweet story. Such a sweet, funny man.❤
What a beautiful story, what a lucky man
True politeness is being good and not expecting anything back.
I love his story telling. And his compassion for the geese. Caring for them until they were ready to be relocated. ❤️👏
I love how the geese were so upset about being escorted off the premises
Well done that man for your patience every year, so lovely to get a glimpse. Thanks for posting 🤗
I have no words. My great respect.
Mine would be like Day #4 of the Geese taking over my deck and things have gone horribly wrong. The geese have claimed squatter's rights and are taking me to court to try to seize my property. But what can I do they have babies! Too cute!
Adorable! Thank you
How absolutely wonderful to have geese every summer using your deck as a nursery, you are so privileged that they chose your deck and let you observe them at such a special time.
Great story. Love the ones that need you the most. 😉
I love this story, how beautiful!
Momma knew what she was doing by laying her eggs up high and safe off the ground from other critters that might the babies just wish she could have moved the babies when she was ready but it was awesome any ways to see the kind guy let her and poppa goose 🦆 rent the deck for a short while ☺️😊♥️
Great story.
I had the same two geese come to nest on the roof of my shed year after year. And year after year the crows would rob their nest. Still, I fed the pair so they came around daily to inform me when it was meal time. Those two, the turkey family, the deer families, squirrels , Bluejays and chickadees all knew when the kitchen was open!
I miss them.
The little gosling heads popping out from underneath mom's wings! ❤❤❤
Just takes my breath away. The beauty 😍 and ❤️ of their babies.
Mate, you are so lucky! You have been chosen. Thank you for respecting them!
One of the best home owner ever. Respect for everything you do and will keep on doing. Keep up the love
The more I see videos like this of people sharing their space, and living symbiotically with wild animals, the more I feel that this World is growing and learning.
I wonder if the whole family will be back next year to lay eggs and raise their goslings?
I think you might need more flowers pots😁
What a lovely man, only the best for his Geese❤️
Two weeks ago my sister got hit by a car and now is in Rehab indefinitely while I run between my house and hers to look after my 2 cats and her house and yard and cat and dog (who would definitely not get along with my formerly feral cats). I am exhausted and then 4 days ago I was given a surprise cancer diagnosis. I have to say this beautiful story gave me a much needed lift. I have great love and respect for people who appreciate nature and value all the critters on the planet. 💕
Much love & healing to you & your sister. 💞
My sympathy for you in your time of stuggle
🙏🙏🙏
Praying for you and your sister, and sending you so much love 💞
Look after yourself in the first place. It would be interesting to have a neighbour or a paid petsitter or a rescue organization fostering/taking care of your sister's animals while you are in treatement.
Precious 😊
Hillary picked the right human's deck to grow her family... you were thoughtful at every point along the way. Even up to the very end, of relocation to the pond. No stress to that little family and minimal human imprinting. 👍😊
You are such a great guy and kind person. Bravo!
I love this guy so much..
'I guess it's no longer my deck'😍👼
Big smiles here 😊👍✨ Thank you for sharing 🤗
Ahww good on you lad taking care of that family!
That was so beautiful thank you for sharing it with us x
That has to be the sweetest, cutest thing I’ve ever see …..in the past three days.
The geese be like
"Your deck? You mean OUR deck, comrade?"
Goslings and parents!! How precious and perfect! We see lots of flocks here in Washington State, and I have to watch them in their "V" formation or as they graze wherever it's safe for them in public places. It's a thrill every time 🥰
My hat is off to this man and his family for allowing mama goose to take over their deck while she laid and cared for her chicks. Only a true animal lover would do that. I keep wishing I'd get so lucky.
Absolutely beautiful.
Your plant pots were made to perfection for their use. Just the right size, location and, with a view.
Amazing!❤
Wonderfull video. Circle of life and kindness 😇
Wonderful work , human guardian of the earth! ♥️
What a cool guy to sacrifice his deck and help raise the family!
You are sooooooo lucky to have them each year 😊 and they appreciate your kindness
Best human!
Thank you for sharing, most folks want all the land, water and sky, don't even want share with their fellow man.
I believe geese like many birds migrate back to the same place every year. And a lot of new developments in the suburbs houses now stand where there used to be forest. I'm sure when these animals inexplicably show up at someone's house it's because it's where they've gone for generations. God bless this guy for being willing to share and accommodate the geese as they grow their family. So adorable!
So sweet we need more humans ❤️ like you
Animals are priceless, people should respect them
big thanks for allowing them to roost at your place
They're all so adorably cute.
Oh my lawrd BABY GEESE ARE SO CUTE
