Unfortunately, I was Robert Wone's wife living in Washington DC except it was the late 80's & we lived in NVA. 2 kids, 2 dogs, 2 houses, & a move across the country together this was my story. After much counseling, I realized my ex has always lead a double closeted gay life. It's a dangerous lifestyle to participate in & the deception they expose everyone in their life that they supposedly care about is beyond words. It's a mind f*** to say it mildly. The stds, lies, gone a lot, and when you realize everything about your relationship has been a scam & a farce, and you've been used because they want to keep their sexuality in the closet & "live" as if they are not gay, is shocking & you never trust again. There is a term for it it is called a Straight Wife. 2 million married men are gay. After going through the pain & devastation that I have, I believe it. I can "see" them as you do if you've been a drug addict, you can see the drug deals going on in the streets. It's never okay to live a double life! You play with danger; sometimes you get burned. I don't have any empathy for any of these men. Been there, done that.
