Now THIS is golf! Knowing you're doing something wrong every time - focusing on it - and still doing it - THAT is the true amateur golf experience. Sums up my golf game anyway. That's why this game is so good. You can tailor it as arcadey or as realistic and mind-numbingly difficult as possible.

Trev you can draw/fade the ball when attacking a pin that's tucked behind the bunker to change the angle and give yourself more green to work with in front of the hole. Keep up the great series! :D
Yo, uh... what does this mean lol
TmarTn2 you can sorta ‘shape’ your shots to give yourself more space or area to hit the green when hitting out of the bunker (sand)
@@TmarTn2 Like the shot at 12:35 for example. When you're hitting a shot with a wood that you know will roll a lot once it hits the green, you can put a draw on the ball (curving from right to left in the air) so that it can land closer to the front of the green but still be on line with the hole. You're effectively changing the angle that the shot approaches the green at to give it more room to roll out while remaining on target. Hope this helps!
TmarTn2 a draw means that the ball goes right to left. A fade means it goes left to right.
You do this by holding L1 and changing the path of the shot :)
I’ve played golf all my life and just finished up my senior year of college golf back in May. Just wanted to say thanks for this series! Golf always gets a lot of flack for “not being exciting” but you’ve brought some awareness to people who would never watch or play it. Thanks man!

Trev one thing I have for you, is that just because your chasing someone doesn't mean you're always out. They can always still Bogey or even worse birdie. So you just never know!
I started on pro-am, on pro now. It really isn’t that hard after I few rounds. I highly recommend bumping up to pro! It’s way more fun and rewarding when you perfect.
It is pretty hard. Im getting decent at Pro, but it took me 20 hours of swing practice to get it right.
Manbok really? How do you swing? I use my thumb and pointer finger to grab the analog stick. Probably get perfect 50% but my fasts and slows are always really close and rarely red. I haven’t played a gold game since like Tiger Woods 09 so I’m not THAT good, but I’m consistently shooting under par.

When you hit the top you have to be in the middle so that it flies straight.
With some it was left so it flew to the left

On short putts like number 8, when you were so close to the hole, you don't need to aim anything other than straight. With how close you were on 8, moving your aim messed you up, not the stick flick.

I dont know if anyone suggested this but switch you swing to your left stick. It helps out when you are using a xbox controller.
Splash shots are going to roll more than most other shots. Also the rage is hilarious.
This game was definitely more realistic! Good job!
For long distance low angle shots, aim some distance before the hole because that ball's going to bounce farther because it has enough horizontal speed. For short distance high angle shots, aim as close to the hole as you can to hole, the ball has more vertical speed than horizontal speed so it wont bounce far. It should improve your short game very significantly. It's all in the physics, Trev. BTW Don't be overconfident!

Try adding loft and backspin when hitting to the green, this will help the ball to stop. Also turn off elevation assistance, this will help you calculate the elevation into your shots.
It isnt proper golf if you are cursing and thinking of throwing a club into a water hazard. Love the vids. Thanks for sharing with us!!!

I 100% agree with @Abram Maloney. You’re not a REAL Professional Golfer Trev. But looking like the “White Tiger Woods” was the content I was looking for.
I'm slowly but surely getting a hang of Pro, after 30+ hours of play time and just about starting to be consistent with accurate swings. Pro is needed, if you wanna play online. However, once you Master Pro, the next 2 higher difficulties become fairly easy.

I don’t know what controller you use but I use an XBox One X controller and use the left thumb stick, even though I’m a righty, as my thumb is in a more natural straight up and down position compared to my right thumb that is in an off centre position so easy to do an angled swing. I am far more consistent in my swings that way.
Gameplay is much better when the stakes are high. If all those close calls converted it would've been a W!
Trev don’t use woods on the fairways! That’s why you are noticing SOMETIMES that the balls are far away from the hole when you hit them from the fairways using a 5 wood or 3 wood.
So I have been using Flight Simulator to fly to the locations of the tournaments on career mode!!
Also at 24:04, he must have really been satisfied with the curse bomb😂

You don't have to play break on every putt especially on your lag putts it can be beneficially sometimes to not play break on some of the putts.
How do you consistently hit the ball to far on the green, and still not adjust for it? Lol it drives me CRAZY!
tough swing system on this game for sure, most of the putts that were missed were due to power mistakes..but, thats Golf...

Trev! Use RB and right stick to put backspin, not left stick! And use backspin more lol, it could’ve saved you a couple times this round
You need to take more precaution to the wind and instead of hitting a 6 or a 5 iron at 90% get a club you can get the same distance with at 100% instead. You’ll get way better results
Trev, bit of advice, please stop using driver off the deck because even if it lands on the green it will usually roll off the green anyway due to it having little spin on ball👍
