Honda Civic Type R (FN2) Nordschleife Trackday (BTG

Considering semi-slicks and some weight reduction (rear seats out), slightly disappointed with the results. My driving was for sure not the best after having not driven on the Nordschleife for a year in dry condition .
I also had 8:18, but my brand new GoPro 9 froze, only recording sound from one pont...

Massive lap mate, very confident late braking! What tyres were you on?

Thanks, but braking was my biggest issue: The front brake pads were worn, causing it to heat up very rapidly (and hence causing brake bias progression with the rear having to brake too much). Car was very unstable in braking (fishtailing) because of that.
I was on Toyo R888R, that were down to the carcass after the day, so i left some margin there as well...
-> Lessons learned, got one more chance this year!

What's your geometry settings?

Camber RA: ~-0.3
Toe FA: 1mm out
Toe RA: 2mm in

With less weight and proper Semis, I would have expected a better time than that...
