Thanks. Unfortunately, I'll not ride on that track with that car anymore. I should have been there during summer 2019 after a new remap. I have added an half cage and done a new remap. The car was about 230hp and was clearly working better than on this video. During 2018 I was not on the edge so I think I could have done a better laptime easily around 8:15. For 2019 my target was around 8:05 but I'll never know if I was able to do it. This car is now sold. For now I have a new project on a motorbike 😊.

Mini cooper had 8more bhp and more torque, if the intake would have been a cold air intake when It got mapped both cars would have probably got exactly the same Power. excellent smooth and aggresive driving. can you explain how you save those slides? your steering and throttle inputs.. im new and really wanna learn competitive and track driving. 3.55 for example.
You need a good setup on suspensions and tires. To me, the secret is to feel the car to predict its movements. This feeling comes from the braking pedal, your foot, the steering wheel and your hands. Of course the suspensions gives also informations about the limit of the handling. Remember to push hard the brakes on straight line as much as you can and release it little by little when cornering. At 3:55, I was not on straight line when braking and the car started to slide. To stop it, you release the brake and stabilize the extra charge on the front tire by pushing the gaz. Feeling will come with experience 😉.
dont know how it feels from inside and in these speeds but i am really afraid of overcorrection with steering in a similar situtation. hope i react well.. i guess thats how you save a lift off oversteer also? slight steering correction and throttle push?
@@giannisweightlifting3996 Exactly, you need to transfer the mass on the rear by pushing the throttle to avoid the car spining on it self. The more you practice, the more you will understand clearly the handling of your car. You have to go step by step to feel comfortable with the speed.
