      Thanks. Unfortunately, I'll not ride on that track with that car anymore. I should have been there during summer 2019 after a new remap. I have added an half cage and done a new remap. The car was about 230hp and was clearly working better than on this video. During 2018 I was not on the edge so I think I could have done a better laptime easily around 8:15. For 2019 my target was around 8:05 but I'll never know if I was able to do it. This car is now sold. For now I have a new project on a motorbike 😊.

      Mini cooper had 8more bhp and more torque, if the intake would have been a cold air intake when It got mapped both cars would have probably got exactly the same Power.
      The most impressive thing about that is, the mini needed a supercharger to get to be as fast as that and the fn2 is naturally asperated.

    excellent smooth and aggresive driving. can you explain how you save those slides? your steering and throttle inputs.. im new and really wanna learn competitive and track driving. 3.55 for example.

    • @01ananims
      @01ananims  3 роки тому +1

      You need a good setup on suspensions and tires. To me, the secret is to feel the car to predict its movements. This feeling comes from the braking pedal, your foot, the steering wheel and your hands. Of course the suspensions gives also informations about the limit of the handling. Remember to push hard the brakes on straight line as much as you can and release it little by little when cornering. At 3:55, I was not on straight line when braking and the car started to slide. To stop it, you release the brake and stabilize the extra charge on the front tire by pushing the gaz. Feeling will come with experience 😉.

    • @giannisweightlifting3996
      @giannisweightlifting3996 3 роки тому

      dont know how it feels from inside and in these speeds but i am really afraid of overcorrection with steering in a similar situtation. hope i react well.. i guess thats how you save a lift off oversteer also? slight steering correction and throttle push?

    • @01ananims
      @01ananims  3 роки тому +1

      @@giannisweightlifting3996 Exactly, you need to transfer the mass on the rear by pushing the throttle to avoid the car spining on it self. The more you practice, the more you will understand clearly the handling of your car. You have to go step by step to feel comfortable with the speed.

    Multiplier la vitesse par 1.06 ? C'est plus ou moins juste là, rupture de 4 avec rev à 8600 on à 172km/h, à voir si le compte tour est juste ici ? Le compteur du FN2 a un peu plus de 6% d'erreur

    • @01ananims
      @01ananims  6 років тому

      C'est plus pour ajuster la vitesse au compteur et donner une idée aux propriétaires de fn2. J'ai fait la comparaison sur les rupteurs en 3, 4 et 5. Le ratio est correct. Pour donner un ordre d'idée sur autoroute allemande, 234km/h en rupteur de 5 au compteur. Sur la vidéo le rupteur de 5 est à 220km/h. Ca ne change en rien le temps au tour.

    Flashing people on TF is so not cool and another way to get yourself banned for the day. Overreving is mental though, surprised you had an engine left that much commitment over SX without a helmet, is mad, especially when you bang it down to 4 th to unsettle the car at probably the most dangerous section of track. 2nd gear for karussel seemed way too low

      These engines are meant to be overrevved, pretty sure he's flat footed shifting and not redlining too. Younger a lot out of 2nd gear on a k20, not too surprising he was able to use it for the carousel

      Emmett Mulroy theres overrevving on the up sure, but never On a downshift at 8k, buzzing on downshift and oil surge is only way you can kill a K20, remember the Rev limiter won’t protect you on the way down. The k20 is pretty safe but treating it like that is wrong if you want own it long term. Had 7 ep3’s and never treated one that bad, still if he blows it up at ring next time we have a couple of k20 engines on the shelf so he can pop in and we’ll do A deal👍. Ps karrusel he’d be faster in 3rd🤫

    HIi Can you please tell me how do you set up your roof camera? what mount are you using and where you get it from?

      Hi philip, it's a gopro gooseneck. It was fixed on the rear passenger light with a velcro tape. I had to add botls on it because of the go pro weight and the car movements.
