I bumped it to super low settings and got an average of 4 fps.
Well on my laptop I got 0.0001 fps on ultra low settings.
well this pc no, for such a demanding game your going to need to get a gtx980 video card or higher. With the boson i was only averaging around 15fps which is very unplayable for such a competitive e sports game like pong.

If you buildthis I recommend a 20$ upgrade to the R7 370 instead, 4gb version from sapphire, great card.

crucial 8gb ddr4-2400
Look at the date of the video. Ryzen wasn't out at the time, and I'm not sure it was even rumored.
This is a very good bang for your buck build, Austin knows what he is doing, this is a nice pc to get started

To all you budget gamers: I HIGHLY recommend playing at 900p (1600*900) since it is pretty hard to distinguish from 1080p (1920*1080) and you get around 15+ more frames on every game :)

I didn't build this, I have my own pc, i just found this in my recommended and was interested.
I'm twelve and my build was actually inspired by this, although the graphics card is the 2 fan rather than the one fan. It was my dad's old one, and the case is a bit more fitting, using a 450w PSU. I actually ended up getting better DDR3 than what was said in the build.
An excellent "starter kit", if I could say, for any young gamer to have their first ever PC. Cheap, reliable and like you said, plays most popular games, no problem.

This was really helpful as I built a PC very similar to this about 18 months ago that hasn't really been used and I didn't want to buy a game and then not be able to run it. This gave me a good idea of what it could handle and what I could upgrade. Thanks

We build nearly the same PC on our channel called Project Valenwood a few weeks ago. We had a Nvidia GeForce 750 TI instead of the R9 360, because it performs slightly better in most games. Everything else is a very good choice.

it has to be a FM2+ socket, so just look after mainboards with that socket. Here's a list on a German price comparison portal geizhals.at/?cat=mbfm2p and you can set under 50€ there. Boris Bilc i only play runescape, so i dont need anything special...just basic pc. for other games i use xbox 360 jtag.
Well, then you can grab a cheaper graphics card and maybe you can get it for around 380€.
I just built this with the rx 460 and it ran so well i got 110 fps on cs go. Everyone needs to try if you are on a budget. You also get the advantage of not having to plug anything to the gpu so you don't need that adapter.
Really sparked my interest, thanks for the vid, i'll prolly look into building it now. Really shocked at how cheap it was too, nice considering I was looking at a $750 PC before. Thanks.

I upgraded the graphics card to 1050 ti, it doesn't need pci power from the psu, it gets the power from the motherboard, and its pretty good for a powerfull cheap card. Also upgraded the cpu to intel core i3. Also upgraded the psu by 100 more volts or watts.
Edit: I changed the cpu to Pentium Gold. And made the psu 300watts. Also changed the video card back to 970. The cpu was not bad, 104 dollars and clocked at 3.9ghz
I know very little about pcs and I asked my computer geek friend and he said it seems good for basic gaming (I play sims lmao) and I'm finally ordering it all tuesday and I'll be putting it together. I always have my friend in case I need help. After tax and like shippin it's just under $400 and I recommend buying a anti-static wristband.

I'm having a hard time choosing over this one and the one from TechSource. Both are good and I plan on playing mostly CSGO, GTAV and Overwatch. I need to know which is better for these games. I'm currently leaning more towards TechSource's one.

Perfect "starter PC" upgrade as you go
Price has gone up on the 860k so the 845 seems to be the better choice for under $70. Newegg also has a faster r7 360 (from Gigabyte) available for $90. Also, the Rosewill R521 is another Rosewill case with a built in 400W PSU. The difference being that the R531 has USB 3.0 headers and is about $5 more.

Assuming you live in a parallel universe where Club Penguin is still active, you’d be looking at about 40-50 frames per second, with the latest version of flash, although I remember Club Penguin being capped at 30...

Right now I have what I guess everybody today would call a budget gaming pc which is a fx 8350 12 gbs of ddr3 and a gtx 780ti its now considered as a mid ranged system but a common issue I have always had with being a of gamer is the pure addiction of upgrading your rig
I think you all should get the thermaltake h15 case w/ evga 430w PSU for better air flow

We bought this build for my 10 year old nephew for Xmas. He put it together correctly, we loaded Win10 on the machine.... problem is... monitor says "no signal". We've checked that all cables are plugged in properly, we've checked the Input button, we've checked that the graphics card is in properly. What are people's suggestions? I"m considering a defective graphics card, but would like to hear from folks of anything else I/we should try. Thanks in advance!

No you don't need the SSD and the installation process is mostly the same. Just plug in the SATA cable into the hard drive and your good to go.

Hey guys, I actually built this PC a while back for a friend a while back and she hasn't been using it for gaming till recently. She gave me the PC back because she needed help fixing an issue. Every game that runs on this computer just crashes mid game and it's absolutely random. I have updated drivers and reinstalled fresh versions of windows 7, 8.1, and 10, still no luck. I was wondering if anyone had run into this problem with this PC. Please help!

I went on eBay found a Dell Inspiron T3500 that had a Xeon, 12gb ram, 750gb hard drive,500w psu, etc for 180$ then I bought a 1050ti and boom! Ultra settings in most games at 40-60 fps

So I'm new to PC gaming and my budget for an entire setup is $700 which does include the actual PC itself, desktop and mouse. I might be getting the headphones later on. Do you think this setup is good for someone who is new to PC gaming? I will also be making UA-cam videos and use it a bit for school but of course mainly for gaming. I don't know much about gaming PC's but I'm willing to do a lot of research and I think my dad has some knowledge about it so that may help.
I'm thinking about doing this as a first build, is it worth it?

I recommend you to save up a little bit more to at least 500 dollars, and get a fx6300/r9 280 build,you get much much more performance for a little bit more. If you insist on doing this build, go get a corsair cx450/ cooler master/ whatever power supply that's from a reputable company in 450-500 watts, this power supply will fry your pc.
New graphic cards are dropping in the summer, so if you wait some graphics cards may have a price cut.

check the price of the case over time , i got it second hand but in good condition on amazon for £26 thats about $30 -$35 for an ok case with a 400w psu

Austin Evans But there are many ways to prevent that from happening. Say you are buying a GeForce GTX 570 and you are buying it from Kijiji (a free local classified website). You can inspect the graphics card, bring parts to test it and ask about its background history.
