- How to EASILY Install any ENB for Fallout 4 is a comprehensive guide to install a wide range of ENBs using enbseries on Fallout 4. In this video I explain how to easily and quickly install ENBs from nexusmods.com onto Fallout 4. This tutorial was created as a guide for beginners to learn how to mod Fallout 4 and how to use enbseries. You might want to note somewhere (or make a pinned comment) that the default keybind for opening the enb menu ingame is the END key using this mod. This can be changed using the optional file that comes with the mod, as shown front and center on the mod page in the nexus. I'm noticing it a lot in the comments

Bro... How :D im currently at the enb what is my biggest problem rest of the mods shouldnt be a struggle but I can't get the enb binaries. I just clicked on the link on the enb on nexus and it leads me to an site that looks completely different than that one in the vid
@@-Crusher_Rvasu420 ahh yes that site didn’t work for me either if I recall, I’ll see if I can find it for you later when I’m home. If not just type in the enb binaries or whatever it’s called on Google instead of following the link
i'm new to modding stuff and this video really helped me a lot. i spent for about 3 days reading the manuals figuring out why the enb didn't work out. but now i'm really happy with the results after watching this vid, thanks man!

I confirm this still works in 2024, also if your trying to get rid of the litterbox option in the ENB but still cant figure out how to bring up the in game ENB menu try pressing the END key. Awesome tutorial btw its a like from me for sure
yoho, im having a issue with the enb series, everytime i go to their website and click v478 (which is the latest release as of right now) it doesnt show any of the actual installation links, it just sort of takes me to the front page of the website, but if i click v420 then it shows me stuff to install so do i just choose the older release because i cant install the new one?

shift+ enter doesnt open the ENBs menu for me, it does nothing. these black bars and 60 fps limit suck and im stuck with them on. edit: i found the ini folder for the letterboxes but i cant find the fps limiter, but the key for opening the menu is the END key for some reason
which ini is it? i can't find those letterboxes anywhere.
Actually, never mind. I found out that END button is the default button to open enb menu

IF YOUR ENB MENU DOESNT OPEN BY SHIFT + ENTER TRY THE END KEY ON YOUR KEY BOARD
You don't put the enb file from 'Quality Settings' in the enbseries folder; you put it in the Fallout 4 folder and replace the existing file.

I got the ENB to work but it seems to have disabled some of my other mods like one that changed the background of the Pip-Boy and one that changed the idiot savant to something else. Not sure if it’s the ENB’s fault or if there’s a conflict somewhere
thank you buddy very nice video it helped me a lot, but i just have one question... sorry if it's a bit foolish question but the game looks great, but as soon as i change to 3rd person and i sheathe my weapon everything becomes blurry as hell arround the character. do you think it's for the standard fov?

Whenever I go to copy the dll files to the main fallout 4 folder it doesn’t overwrite any mods and then the game looks weird when played. Any help?

for some reason, the site doesnt give me the download prompt, it just sends me onto other sites, totally unrelated to fallout 4 ENBs. How do I fix that?
I had to download v0.420 rather than v0.478 for the same reason. Continued the rest of the process the same and everything works just fine.

is there any tutorials in uninstalling the enb and enb series version, without breaking your game or anything. In case you wanted to start from scratch, does validatiing the game files wipe those files away?

Enter + Shift doesnt seem to do anything for my friend or I after installing it
Sometimes I have found in the past that the graphical settings may interfere with the ENB overlay and the Steam overlay, it may have something to do with whether your Fallout 4 launcher settings are set to Windowed or borderless mode? Hope this helps :)
For those ENB GUI does not show to remove black bars - try "end" key. 👋
What if my end Key is In Use?
You can switch it to a different key in the ini file. I’d google “how to change enb key for Skyrim”

No you do not. I changed it to ultra must not have shown in the video.

I just installed everything, but when I press Shift + Enter to get rid of the black bars, the menu doesn't come up. I can't figure out why and I haven't changed anything.
There could be a different default keybind with the latest version of enb. I would google the possible keybinds for the enb menu.
didnt have an enb series folder pop up for me, but it said it was in data, will i be fine or is my pc gonna become a mini chornobyl when i start it up
Does this installation method also work for Mod Organizer 2? I recently started using this mod manager because I didn't like the Nexus version, but noticed this mod manager uses "cloud" profiles when installing mods. In other words, mods don't actually install into the steam fallout 4 data folder, but into another folder created by the mod manager. This caused me some headaches because I couldn't figure out why my mods were not working when the file path were correct when using the mod manager download and install option on Nexus. Turned out that I had to enable modding in the ini file that was in the "cloud" profile.
I was doing for the first time, I have nexus mods and F4SE, but it never asked me to rewrite anything.. I guess you already have enb installed amiright?

You can install the previous version. I haven’t ever seen ads on that site, so that’s kinda weird

I installed an ENB, and for some reason i have 2 large vertical black bars at the top and bottom of the screen, i assume to make it look more cinematic but i don't quite care for it, any idea how to remove them?

In that video I was using a 3070, but I’ve also run that enb with a 1660 and it worked pretty well. If you don’t have very much vram, I would stick to the 2k texture packs.

Are you sure you got the game folder? You can find it through steam by going to the game, right clicking, go to properties, then browse local files.

Yes you can. You don’t have to utilize every enb update

Unfortunately you have to be using the steam version to modify the game files like in the video. Microsoft doesn’t let you modify.

@@c4chanse any chance you'd know why the shift+enter wont pull up the menu? I get the message before the start menu saying enb is active. Using true weathers, I'm not sure if that matters.
People change the key binding in the enb files. If you find enblocal.ini in the fallout 4 game folder you can customize the key it uses. 33 is the code for page up. You’ll want to change the one that says keycombination.
Might also be keyeditor, can’t remember which is which
