I wished TomToc would use this same strap clip design on their smaller compact EDC sling. That bag is pretty much works best if you're right handed. If the Compact EDC bag had the same swivel clips as the Wander, it would be way more versatile.
I bought the original (blue lining) version of this for my tech and liked it so much that I bought the black x-pac version for everyday use. However, it just felt too flimsy, smooth and crinkly - like a cheap oversized wash bag - plus it had an odd chemical smell that the original didn't. I sent it back and now have two copies of the blue lining version and couldn't be happier. :)
Totally agree I wish the zippers for the main compartment went a bit lower to allow you to open up the bag even further for loading. And compression bits could’ve allowed an umbrella to be attached at the bottom more easily. But I dig it overall.
I got this down 10% off with coupon on amazon when i bought it. It is dangerously close to the more recommended slings out there,BUT those with same materials are also 120++ range,so there's solid $30-40 or more difference in price. Also many of those slings have the straps on hip pack position which is one of my main reason i picked this. This has very comfortable and versatile carrying position on your back or chest.
I have the balistic nylon (black) version of this bag. I like it , however it has ONE MAJOR FLAW for someone who is left handed and prefers to have the bag in left shoulder carry and that is the bag doesn't vertical on the back, it sits more horizontal which makes it feel kind if awkward especially if its loaded up with a bunch of stuff and weighed down. I tried flipping the strap but I dont really think that resolved the issue, I think the issue has to do with the fabric wings next to the swivel locks, they are both oriented in one direction , if tomtoc just had one of those buckle flap things pointed in opposite directions that would fix this issue.
If they only moved the compression straps to the front, like with one of the Nitecore slings, it wouldve been a useful place to stow an umbrella or a jacket
It really disappoints me that it's only half X-Pac. The "bottom" is a regular fabric, and when you're actually wearing it that isn't the bottom but actually the side. So one half of it has worse aesthetics and worse weather resistance, defeating the purpose of getting X-Pac.
I like this shirt too. In fact, I've got like six or seven of them. Honestly, I bought it at Walmart for like six bucks. The brand is George and it's just a short sleeve hoodie. I wear them all the time.
Hi - I am so sorry but I don't have a Kindle fire to test for for you. I show the size as 6.5" tall when inserted into a bag on its side. The tomtoc is 6.69". So I think it would slip into the main compartment but not into the tech sleeve which is sized for an iPad mini sized device.
For me the EDC 5.5 liter was too big. It's a weird in between size. I ended up with the compact 4l for everyday casual strolling and the T24 when I go to work or trips where I need more stuff with me. I went for the non XPAC on 4l however because of color options. Wanted something more fun than brown or black :D The rotation cuff/strap thing looks nice though.
It’s DEFINITELY a weird in-between size, and that’s why I love it. I use my smaller tomtoc sling for travel edc, and this sling has replaced my backpack for work carry. I can fit in all the tech I couldn’t in the smaller sling, without the bulk of the backpack. At the ~$75 price point it’s usually on sale it’s great, full MSRP I would pass. Now I’m just wishing I hadn’t wasted so much money on Alpaka slings trying to fill the void. They look great (alpaka) but they always hold so much less than you think they should, especially if you’re carrying the larger smartphones in them.
Man I didn't realize the xpac versions were just on the same listing as different colors. Here I was thinking your community post was a sneak peek at an unreleased bag! lol Do you have any advice for allevating the buckle squeak? Maybe some kind of lubricant? I love the convenience and comfort of the swivel buckle, but I don't love the nylon-on-nylon squeaking when the bag is loaded out more heavily. I'd love to see your take on the Tomtoc carry-on 30L duffel. But I totally get it if duffels aren't normally your thing.
I did read a post about squeaky controllers that said pencil lead would do it…coloring surface with a pencil and letting the graphite do the lubrication.
Nothing. Plenty of us were waiting for a possible xpac version of this bag when the smaller sling got an xpac version. It’s a great sling, and it fills that niche between my smaller tomtoc sling, and a full out backpack.
@@gandrake21 Im glad I waited for it. Realistically it makes zero function difference given the backing is still ballistic nylon, but I’m a pushover for cutting edge fabrics lol
Heya!!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙 How’s It Going ??? ??? ??? When Do We Get To See An Extensive Detailed Review On The Snack Time Sling Bag By The Famous L.A Brand “Data Crew” ??? ??? ??? Been Watching All The Reviews On It Which Is Out There…It’s Totally Super F.I.R.E 🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's a crime that they are promoting this as X-pac when 70% is made of the same material as the cheaper bag. I usually go for xpac for the weight savings and I just like the look - but this one is a fail
I'm a big fan of Ayataka, a Japanese bottled green tea brand from Coca-Cola. But it's really tricky to find a consistent source in the US. Suntory brands are everywhere, but other brands don't get imported by grocery stores nearly as much. It's specifically formulated to hit the notes of fresh-brewed matcha while bottled at cold temperatures. Which is subtly different from just normal tea but cooled down and with preservatives added, which describes most other brands. Highly recommend trying it if you ever happen upon it. There's like a dozen different varieties and they're all good.
@@bwnnn me too. but still Ito En is more authentic and you can buy their tea bag. Their brand of tea has stronger fragrance. Good thing I live in Singapore where all these are easily available and affortable, an important point for tea addict.
@@ThePerfectBag Completely all black are also boring though,i like a little streaks of colors here and there. I am seriously considering replacing the zipper pulls and adding some more colors.
I watched a lot of bag reviewers and honestly, he is one of the best bag reviewers.
Hey thanks!!!
I was hesitant to purchase this tomtoc because it didn’t came in xpac and now it does! Thank you for the review.
Well technically only half does.

Loculus also comes in so many colors too! I love the peacock color I got in X-Pac!
Where can I purchase those orange straps for the zipper? Looks so nice!
I just bought some paracord and made these myself. It's not hard!

thoughts on between tomtacT26, kargo loculus and greenroom metrorunner ?
There's probably a good video in that. I think I like the Loculus best although the TomToc strap is just flat out better.
@@ThePerfectBaglooking forward 🤗
I'd love to see those 3 side by side. 😮

I'd be really tempted if I already didn't own a Loculus, it seems like its roughly the same size.
Yeah - no need if you own a Loculus!
Thanks for the upload,
Would a kindle fire HD 10 fit in the main pocket?
Cheers 🍻

They make a 4L EDC X-Pac that is $60 in black that I would rather have. But I will stick with my Alpaka Go Sling Mini V2

The rotation is nice but it makes a lot of squeaky noises.

Would a headset like my Sony wh-1000xm4 fit in here?
Hmmmmm….I think based on how those fold up, they might fit. I don’t have a set to test.
Will it fit the samsung s9 11inch?
An 11” tablet will not fit this bag.

Nope. The squeak is a fact of life I think. I haven’t tried lubricant of any kind but I don’t know that it would work long term on plastic.
I did read a post about squeaky controllers that said pencil lead would do it…coloring surface with a pencil and letting the graphite do the lubrication.
Because of the lack of inside elastics when you swing it from front to back everything moves inside à big no no 😢
This is exactly why I hated the vanquest dendrite.
So a knife and a worry stone huh? Lol U sir are an enigma 😂

Hello, what wallet is that?
Greenroom136 Tuna Tin.
I regret not buying this sooner. Its sold out -_- i hope they restock soon.
But if you plan on selling yours soon, let me knoooww.
I bet they will restock it. And if I do decide to sell this one instead of keeping it, then it will go up on the perfect bag website.
Hello! You can now pre-order, a limited amount of stock will arrive around June 10th.
Not sure what country you’re in, but Amazon currently has it on sale for their prime day event at the lowest price I’ve seen it, $72 USD
@@blakew5672 I got one already when they restocked. Happy with it, though I feel like this discount isn't that much. Thanks for the update.
Is this color prone to getting dirty quickly, and is it easy to clean?
honestly coyote is fine - and XPAC cleans very easily.

Ito En green tea. best everyday tea brand. Didn't know they are sold in US!
