Imagine Wyatt's speech after breaking the streak, that would of been epic to witness.
100% agree, Brock didn’t need to win, Bray On the other hand would have just launched him into an amazing stratosphere, It’s a shame nobody could talk Redacted into giving Bray the win.
I disagree. It elevated Brock into the man to beat at Mania and it meant the streak was broken by someone credible. As good as Bray was he went backwards and was never at the Undertaker's level. You could say ending the streak would have put him at the level, but it might not have done.
@@clivet3252 You are missing the underlying point; Yes it elevated Brock, thats clear, but Brock could have been a draw with the loss at 30 regardless. Undertaker was alluding to...let's keep the streak alive and then Bray Wyatt beats me for the same reasons Mark said. Go watch the interview again
Vince was really obsessed with giving Brock all the accomplishments there are in the WWE for some reason.
Redacted should run for president. The other guy had like 26 victims and he still won.
Even had that happened, Bray would have still died.
Bray Wyatt ending the streak would have made alot more sense
Randy Orton would've made more sense. He's the legends killer
No it wouldn’t have Lmfaoo
@@jordanreid2619 If you say so
It would have made sense but people would’ve not liked it at the time.
Bray ending the streak would have been insane, fickle wwe fans would have destroyed him for the wrong reasons bur it'll made sense for it to have been him
Bray was an heir to Undertaker throne!
Truly sad that we won't get to see that. God bless you Windham. The depths you took your character was incredible. We were all truly blessed to have you when we did and see what you truly were capable of. Your in a far better place now. And i thank you for the memories you did leave us while you were here.
ITS NOT TOO LATE FOR TAKER & BO DALLAS TO SHARE A SEGMENT TOGETHER
we only have to BOlieve!
100% true
And what would be the point?
No thank you
They share a documentary.
The fact after 21 years it should of been taker choice who should of broke the streak, Vince made the biggest mistake
Imagine Undertaker stayed undefeated and have The Fiend beat him at Mania. Another thing is The Fiend's booking whilst WWE Champion. He gets up over and over during HIAC with Rollins after multiple Curb Stomps ect. But they have him lose to Oldberg's botched Jackhammer! 🤯 Same with The Fiend losing to Orton at WM. Comes back after being burnt alive but loses to one RKO. Even Windham was pissed after the match basically saying it made no sense for the character to lose.
If undertaker faced the fiend at wrestlemania 37 in a fire fly funhouse match it would of been fun
Undertaker lied for the first time ever.
@@Mma3dgame what did undertaker lie about? I'm curious
It was a hip toss from Oldberg
Bray didn't get his moment because Dunce McMahon was busy face poopin instead of focusing on their best talent.
When they let Bray do his thing, it flopped hard af, what the hell was that match against LA Knight??😂😂😂 trash
@@YungJules001vince still destroyed the fiend
Vince is the true fiend@@user-td2jw9ze2c
@@YungJules001did u give him a chance? Only one match?
Imagine the Promo he would have cut after… GOOSEBUMPS!!!
"Every good thing must come to an end "
First the streak , then the Bray Wyatt
Rest in peace legend
Bray should've faced Undertaker at WrestleMania 30 instead and beat him
The fiend vs undertaker
It was probably too early at that time, the timing just wasn't there
Didn't he fight cena at w30 ?
All these ppl acting like they cared about Bray Wyatt are the same one months after his return begging for him to be fired again because he can’t “wrestle” and his promos are to “weird”. Wrestling fans are such garbage.
Wouldve made so much more sense for a supernatural ish character to break the streak.... definite missed opportunity.
We all knew Brock didn’t need to break the Undertakers streak it just doesn’t make any sense 🤦♂️ it’s the most unforgiving moment and heartbreaking at Wrestlemania 30
Actually it made a lot of sense Brock was the one guy that always had undertakers number I knew he was winning that whole time building to the match people called me stupid, well turns out I wasn’t so stupid after all
@@codyjohnson4174 "I knew he was winning that whole time", ok buddy, sure you did. Even Taker didn't know until the day of the match as Vince kept changing his mind.
Love taker but damn man he really be changing the story up on who he wanted to break the streak smh, Roman, angle. Now bray?
Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that.
He wanted kurt Angle to do it ?
Tbh Taker is so special he should have retired undefeated at WM. I disagree with the streak ever ending.
I thought that as well but can anyone remember that mania night there was a rumour Bray rolled his ankle really bad, maybe that's why it was stopped? Just a thought.
The promise was cutting about being the new face of fear was fantastic it would’ve been incredible
I love Taker but he switching up. He said he wanted Roman to break the street… I think he is just saying this because of Brays unexpected death.
100% agree!
Unfortunately, yeah.
Disagree
Or he only said roman because that’s what vince wanted him to say.
@@M_M386 nah, we all know Vince LOVES Brock
Miss you bary whyat
It should have been Bray to love you bray ❤️
bray wasnt anything special
@@PitBullPlaysGames better than your favourite.. pipe down kiddo..
Yea, guarantee you’re a Roman fan, one of these actually thinks he means anything to the business while no one outside of wrestling has never even heard of him 😂
I agree with this either it could have been Roman (even though he was mad hated at the time) or it could’ve been Demon Finn or Bray (Bray definitely the best choice), I would’ve loved to see Undertaker vs Seth at Mania tho tbh RIP Bray
Imagine if they let Cena do it
@@user-gd6gr5nv7g Cena would have refused, I mean look at what Cena asked for at WM34 - a squash match.
@@user-gd6gr5nv7g like the other guy said he probably would’ve said no, and we should’ve gotten that match long ago but if Batista couldn’t do it I don’t think Cena doing it would be right either especially cause he didn’t need it
as a big Undertaker fan I’ve been saying this for ten years if Bray beat the streak that will establish him as the new face of fear
He wanted everyone to break the streak and just not Brock. Makes no sense because at that time it was the right decision.
It always would of made sense for bray to beat the streak imagine the pop and would have been even more over and at least have him be the 3rd person to have beat him but whatever lol
Something I only just thought of, and this could be a terrible idea but im just spitballing here: Because Taker and Bray both were this dark mystical persona, what if Bray broke the streak and it was not only a passing of the torch figuratively, but what if the streak also passed on through Bray? What if at that point, Bray went on to always be undefeated at Wrestlemania, as if the streak could never truly "die"? It just changed its host body.
Mark is right. Bray was red hot in 13'-14' mania season and I'm not saying he didn't make a great storyline with Cena but man all that energy and out of the box performance in the ring/promos was perfectly timed for ending the streak and it would've surpassed their pointless match in 2015.
I hate to say it but Brock Lesnar did need that win. He didn't need it more than Bray Wyatt or CM Punk but he did need that win because prior to that victory he lost his first match back to John Cena, he lost at WrestleMania 29 to Triple H, he beat CM Punk at SummerSlam but not like how he beat John Cena at SummerSlam. Brock Lesnar ending The Streak is what propelled him onto another level above everyone else.
Bray was easily one of the best characters to come out of the WWE system, built from the ground up in it. He just always got his legs swept out from under him any time he started to build momentum. He was probably the most unfortunate victim of Late Stage Vince.
I honestly thought if anyone was gonna do it, it was gonna be Bray. I would have maybe preferred the streak going unbroken forever, but if anyone needed that rub, it was Bray.
Taker was so huge that you needed a world-beater to beat him for it to be believable. Bray was not that at the time. The Fiend? YES.
Exactly !
Brock was still the most believable choice
I don't think so as long as people are invested in it. Look at Wrestlemania 30 when the Yes Movement won. Bryan defeated 3 massive guys in one night (Triple H, Orton, Batista) and people bought into it.
@@stuckintheinbetween Bryan was over. Bray wasn't.
@@Adomaster97 Bray was always over to an extent. He always got a big reaction whether it was as Bray, The Fiend, or his last incarnation. He wasn't mega over like Bryan, but he was certainly more over than a lot of the WWE roster at the time.
Would have been super cool
He said before he wanted angle to break it
We did too
It would've made sense to have the Fiend kill the streak since he was massively over.
It makes sense, you can tell that it was supposed to be Bray when Taker spoke to him in the ring. I would put some money on Taker saying telling Windham that "I wanted you to end the streak". But then again, Vince was on his downfall at that time.
Bray Wyatt’s mind has a million ideas running I want to know what if he broke the streak. He would run with it
I honestly would have loved to see the fiend break the streak a supernatural battle the deadman the fiend
Vince lost his Marbles completely by Wrestlemania 29 by not making a triple threat main event between CM Punk, The Rock, and John Cena
Undertaker gimmick went on for decades. Brays only went on for a few years. He was husky for a few years . Hit transitioning to bray was spectacular.
Only said that cause he died he mention before brock was right one to do it
Exactly
maybe so, but hindsight is 20/20. looking back on it, you never know how special something or someone is until they're gone. clarity is not uncommon in the grieving process.
that he did
Yes I agree because he said before he wished he could have given the streak to Raman Reigns
Where? Even on Austin's podcast years ago he said Borck didn't need it.
People can get on Brock all day, but A it was Vinces decision. Not his, and B it helped create the most dominant wrestling resume ever. NCAA champion, WWE Champion, UFC Heavyweight Champion, 2 time royal rumble winner, ended the streak, ended supercena, beat the rock on his way out of WWE, dominated the shield, money in the bank, and much more. He used that to pass the torch to Reigns and Rollins which they then passed to Cody. So whatever which side you are on when it comes to the streak... It did its job in helping build stars. A great thing to do would be to try and have someone recreate a WrestleMania streak that could one day surpass Takers. It would have to be the right fit though. Everything from character to star power to wrestling/ promo ability to longevity would have to be there.
Man to thank that would’ve launch bray
Vinces boy
Oh yes agree
The Streak should not have been broken at all. I agree Brock didn’t need the win, but I suppose the thinking was Taker was beaten by a legit ex ufc champion rather than a wrastler.
Facts
All this after he died but let's be honest with a body like Bray Wyatt had, he could never become the "guy" or the new face of fear. Bffr
Undertaker x Bray Wyatt (bray wins)
John Cena x Randy Orton
Batista x Brock Lesnar
CM Punk x Daniel Bryan (main event, for the title)
Triple H x Sheamus (wm 26 rematch)
Oh! How life would have been different...
Bray would had 100% earned “the new face of fear” if he ended the streak
When I saw WWE advertised them for WM, I knew Bray should've been the one. Not only that, but it could've properly ended the Undertaker's in-ring career instead of him coming back.
The Fiend would've been the perfect character to end the streak. I never liked the earlier gimmick. It was like he was trying too hard to be evil and scary.
Welp, can’t change that
The Undertaker vs The Fiend shyt that even sounds right
The passing of the Torch. If Bray ended Takers Streak.
I'm confused...Brock broke the streak cause Taker wanted him to...that was confirmed long ago. Brock didn't want to but Taker and Vince wanted him to...so why is Taker lying and switching it up now, saying Brock didn't need the win...
Man i was thinking the same thing! this story keeps changing! can trust a lot of celebs
@@MrFree2BeMe1 Indeed.
Mark stop you only thought bray to take on your streak cause hes dead.
But what did taker say to bray in the ring that one day?
He said "adrenaline, in my soul, something something Cody Rhodes"
Undertaker saying "My character" is already breaking kayfabe.... I thought he of all people would want to keep kayfabe alive.... such a shame lol
The man was in character for his entire career, he's retired, let him live lol.
Honestly regardless of who beat it fans would be upset. It was something that NEVER needed to happen
I always thought that Brock never needed to get the rub from breaking the streak where the only two guys who would've deserved and needed the shine from the breaking of the streak even though I think the streak should never ever have been broken but if it really had to happen then the only two choices were Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns
Nah. Roman didn't need it. It was the height of the fans rejecting everything WWE attempted to do to Roman Reigns.
The Fiend vs the undertaker
Should've been batista at wrestlemania 23
The streak was meant to be broken by a young guy who needed to be pushed to the next level.
Instead, Taker beat Bray the next year. Makes total sense.
To be fair
Bray should’ve won
I think the question was…if Wyatt breaks the streak, does that make bray as big as taker…or Cena, Austin, Rock, Flair, Hogan or any generational global attraction?
But if Brock beats takers streak…does Lesnar reach that Andre level of megastardom?
If you’re trying to make a global star, give the taker streak to your biggest star to make them
Even bigger
If taker beat brock at wrestlemania 30 and put over bray at wrestlemania 31 clean then retired at wrestlemania 36 it would of been a better carrer
ya.... he could've definately spoke up he didn't soooooo
Yeah fully bray should of had it
Should've been Kane. Love bray thoee.
Especially after what taker did to his face lol
Sorry to say with the current situation but bray was no good. The gimmick wasn’t streamlined like undertaker, it wasn’t a transition or a passing of the torch. Bray was all rambling without clear vision
sounds like a bunch of lies, he didn't say any of this until after bray passed
Bray Wyatt yes. Not the Fiend. I found the Fiend ridiculous. The way the lights went off, the high pitch sound. The red light. That was so annoying.
Brock was the better choice. This shows that most wrestlers have no idea about what is and is not good for business. This is why they are employees and Vince is the boss
He always said Roman. Only after Bray’s death he started taking his name
Exactly Bro is Glazing He to legendary to act like that!
Well both Roman and Bray were on the way up when they faced Taker, neither of them got to beat the streak thanks to Vince's decision to give it to an already over and established Brock Lesnar. Just because it was WM 30 doesn't mean the streak needs to be broken, it needed to be either Roman or Bray.
Exactly,i love his work but i have heard enough stories to not trust this man
@@newhybrid101 You don't know enough about him to make statements like that - you've heard stories? So what? And how do you know those stories are from reliable people? The truth is that you don't, unless you know those people personally.
When complete strangers start making judgments about things they know nothing about, it's another sign that the world is quite literally going to s**t.
Tell you what, try saying it to Taker's face. It's really easy to tear stripes off of people when you're safely behind a keyboard.
@@acurisurcouldn't agree more people just see what he or anyone says and believes it like we don't know him 100% keyboard warriors lol
...yeah Bray should have been the one.
DIsagree
His little brother should have ended his streak….. Made that man wrestle in a mask 😂😂
Sorry but Brock breaking the streak was the best booking decision ever in my opinion. That stadium was in stunned silence!! Something we have never seen in wrestling before and probably will never see again. It wasn’t the main event so when Daniel Bryan won the fans went home happy. The internet memes that went viral of the fans faces alone from that match shows how over it was. Brock had the credentials to beat the streak and used it to go on a championship run later putting over Roman/Drew. Wyatt would have been cool to see break the streak but the fans may have expected it and Wyatt was able to get over regardless.
Brock breaking the streak should be in the Top 5 worst decisions WWE ever made. Shawn was my pick, similar longevity as Taker, would have made more sense.
I agree bray should of won it
R-Truth should've ended the streak by accident
Brock gained nothing from it. Brock was still Brock. It would've been career defining for Bray, though.
Brock didn't defeated Undertaker. It wasn't a canon event.
Roman reigns or seth should of ended it makes more sense as they now are the face
I thought he said Roman? I feel like he's saying Bray simply because he passed away.
Either Bray or Roman should have ended the streak. Bray ideally from a creative stand point going forward...GOD I wish Triple H was in charge of creative 10 years ago.
Im very happy it wasnt Roman though
Bruh did any of you watched the video he said Bray or Roman
@@BigBladeFan Back in the day he was just saying Roman.
@@dr.loomis4221 probably because Vince was pushing him but even then he knows Roman wasn't good enough even after being on the roster for so long his matches sucked and wasn't over at all.
Bray breaking the streak sounds so stupid to me. He didn't have fiend back then. That clown of a character breaking the streak over Brock? No thanks.
No one should have beaten the Streak.
First Roman and now bray….i think all wrestlers just say shit when they retire at this point 😂
He said both from the jump.
Taker said he would have been fine with either Roman or Bray, as both were on the rise. But it was never Taker's decision to lose the streak in the first place, and most Taker fans would have preferred for Taker to retire with the streak intact.
Wait hold on, Taker said in another interview a while back that he always wanted it to be Brock, so now Bray has passed away it all of a sudden him? Come on, really?
He never ever said he wanted it to be Brock. You’re wrong. He has said Roman in the past but never that he wanted it to be Brock. He said it never should have ended but that he’s not mad that Brock did it.
YOU KNOW
@@jamescooper3324yes he did
I think the undertaker should've retire before lesnar
if bray wyatt would have won i would never watch wwe again!
Bray didn't even join the main roster until 2013 and Brock defeated Undertaker in 2014. There's no way Taker wanted an NXT guy to break the streak.
Hes lying hes just saying that becauae he passed away rip bray
Too bad it's scripted
Stop wishing cause you guys could’ve easily done it but were so focused on getting lesnar and reigns over like stfu
Bro is full OF sht! I’m starting to not like undertaker lol If he wanted him too he would’ve done it
Shows how much you know about professional wrestling then, Taker doesn't make the decisions in WWE, Vince called them all when Taker was wrestling. Even if Taker had wanted someone to end the streak, Vince still has the final say. There were a few people who Taker was ok with them ending the streak, but Vince always said no.
It was only when WM30 came around that Vince decided to end the streak, and because Bray faced Taker at WM31 Vince didn't want Brock's win undermined by Bray's beating Taker as well. What should have happened is Bray should have been Taker's opponent at WM30 instead of Brock.
@@acurisur bro be for real , if he told vince He wanted to put over bray he would’ve Did it! Plus he was already Glazing Brock Lesnar 2 years prior too him even beating the streak, going to UFC events stalking the Man n All knock it off , Who don’t know What?
